Lin Yun Ju vs Patrick Franziska MS QF WTTSingapore2026

Sneaking with the side-spin, as Lin Wenru. Yeah, that's a serve receive that's so deadly, because it puts so much pressure on him. Which he does, and that's an impressive showing in the opener from the man from Chinese Taipei. The better one from Patrick. He has what it takes to become world number one. Yeah, it's been said for some time now, and of course, as I said earlier, there was that. Nicely done by the German. Into the corner. That man right there. First time a rally breaks out. This is huge, he's got to hang on in here. Got the push receive that he wanted. Lin Wenru, not without a head-to-head record, looming over them. And the German was unable to keep it on the table. But not everyone can do it. Solid attack. And then hold the backhand. Great adjustment from Lin Wenru. Long-footed. It's 11-7, and it's beginning to look ominous for Patrick Francisca here. Look at the service game, wide forehand. It was unfortunate for Francisca. She's going to be guarding all the things, or at least finishing them off. Of course, easier said than done. That is just... Francisca, a bit of a different approach here. He was there. Stunning. He does end up winning this game. Francisca, up against it. Up against a formidably sharp opponent. He's worked hard, but he's also played... 4-3, thriller. You see everything tense, whereas Lin Wenru is just loose, like a whip. He's got this incredible strength, but there's a flexibility to him too.
