At the end of a tension-filled episode, CEO suffers a serious gunshot wound and is rushed to the hospital. Eun-ho, who is also there, cannot hold back her tears as she worries about his condition. In a state of panic, she pleads with the medical team, desperately begging them to save his life. The day Pagan warns of will finally arrive, a day when Eun-ho must make a choice. On one hand, Eun-ho cannot accept it if CEO just dies like this. She stresses that if that happens, then there is truly nothing they can do. She insists that even if she dies, she wants to die as herself. Eun-ho continues to grieve painfully over CEO's condition as he remains unconscious. Until at one point he begins to show increasingly alarming signs. Later, she catches sight of a figure resembling an eight-tailed fox. She quietly follows it from behind, leaving us wondering whether the eight-tailed fox finally transforms into a complete human. The prophecy Eun-ho fears finally comes true. However, it turns out that it is not CEO who stabs her, but Woosuk instead, leaving us wondering what kind of change will befall Eun-ho as she seems on the verge of disappearing. Yet fate seems to bring an unexpected change. CEO is still alive. He finds it deeply strange that in this world only he and Woosuk remember Eun-ho. Woosuk advises him that he must also learn to let her go. Still, CEO cannot deny that he feels her presence lingering around him. At a heartbreaking moment, Eun-ho visits a grave, carrying a bouquet of flowers that is placed on what appears to be Kang CEO's tomb. Could Eun-ho still remain a nine-tailed fox? Whatever fate has in store we can only hope the story ends happily.
