Ukraine vs Cameroon Highlights Women s World Championships 2025

Championships for these two teams on the left side we've got Ukraine and on the right side is Cameroon. Well there's just one less player to go to isn't it things aren't going the way they want them to a bit like that that's a perfect start through the middle with a one-on-one block. That's Paola Ilombo the 24 year old middle blocker we highlighted her in the introduction. Nice coaching staff looking on. Ukraine going for it again they're finding hands got a good ball in the reception's been decent on Ukraine's side that's better that's more like it handling the ball I mean it's got to start somewhere maybe this is that somewhere almost free ball coming great position to put that two three players trying to play it into the hand there's solid block from Kotar it's a very different Ukraine team to the one that started this set much happier coach you can tell. Van Dijk runs and overruns it defense is good could pick up able to have this as an option volleying into the block Cameroon's gone from a six point run right into the hallway of hesitation can't give up that many here against Ukraine. Ball's in play off hands that is much better from Van Dijk to play catch-up volleyball now can it it'll afford any. Ilombo goes right down the middle it's a perfect pass for Ukraine and that means they can run all options top swing to need to put some backspin on her serve great ball in just tickles over the block is it long is there a touch Ukraine take the point smart play we saw a lot of that from Japan in the last match set point they're just gonna trying to get it done on an ace serve and she will another deep serve pressure on Cameroon ball goes into the hands Blandai's got another swing in it could dig from Sharodzka. Artashuk is too tight and she just no no more no that should be Ukraine's point and challenge that the block touch that but that's better from Blandai he was talking about Ariana but full on really gets through the ball very difficult to stop she's very difficult to but he doesn't want them to give to have left this set or this match and going well I've got nothing to learn from that because you didn't even give me a level at all Blandai's pretty much the only player has been hitting on the right side of the court's been really good looks super relaxed as well if you're not getting those reps those touches she's one of the better liberos out there in this pool and swing an impact is coming in with a few different defenses there it's a free ball coming now for Ukraine Mimseva stepping in confidently and that is beautiful from Milenko that zone of the net as well well yeah it's like running a 55 you've got the middle you've got the ball wide and then you've got that attack coming right in between the two 22 17 lead pressure serve again out of system off the hands here comes Cameroon one more time right side swing oh smart everyone getting drawn in a little bit closer to what's going on instead of holding position that's not a point I don't know what kota was point for the set yes third set point for Ukraine it is done and dusted managed to get out deep into the corner tied up at once oh what a rip Ukraine stay in it free ball coming Bira puts it to her middle and how the system play now Adriana goes for it that's not up stays in good touch going across going up going across and he went no I want everything doing I want them to do exactly what Blandai has been showing us she's doing that is just going straight across the net and they had such a huge success with it indication of what we were just talking about one point edge for Ukraine and they continue with their pressure at the end line the defense this should be a point four point advantage for Ukraine right now the middle's coming from in front can go behind got full view of exactly where she wants to set the ball back in and she handles that first ball beautifully Blandai has to make a little adjustment doesn't stop and then she's over the top of the block that's a good serve oh yes Ukraine keeping that alive wow it's a top pick up save it scramble no substitution Maria Kaplanska comes in to serve she was the best server the French league last season a point and this match was to go into the into the knockout stages 19 year old baton at the line that's a solid serve at least Ukraine are off the net still able to put a good hit on back to Blandai no surprise there she recycles takes it again Maroon stay in play defense from Ukraine working overtime and the cover oh yes defense again great rally unfolding Cameroon working for this point she also travels so far from when she takes off to where she lands that as a blocker how do you gauge where she's going to attack five blocks for Olomo so far well that might be called as a double well it should be because it's ended up going over the net that might be one that they'll reflect on in the in the referees meeting later match point opportunity all in play there's the tip just over the block and that will do it the second time of asking Ukraine are able to get it done 25 to 20
