A decision that leaves you speechless. Listen carefully to what happened.

No later than yesterday I commented on the surreal decision by the judiciary to order the Ministry of the Interior to compensate using money from Italian taxpayers An undocumented immigrant with 23 prior convictions whom the state had the audacity to transfer to the CPR in Albania for deportation A shameful story though it seems trivial compared to what happened today You remember dear Larrachete how in 2019 you rammed a Financial Guard patrol boat to bring the irregular immigrants on board your vessel into Italy Not only was Larrachete acquitted at the time as some judges have argued that blocking a police barrier is permissible in the name of mass illegal immigration But today the judges make another decision that leaves one literally speechless They have ordered the Italian State to compensate the NGO owning the vessel commanded by Larrachete with 76 000 euros all of them Italian funds because after the collision involving our military personnel the vessel had rightfully been detained and seized The judiciary's decision was happily commented on by the NGO which explicitly stated that civil disobedience is once again justified So my question is is the role of judges to uphold the law or to reward those who boast about breaking it The other question I'm asking myself is what message are they trying to convey through this long string of objectively absurd decisions which prohibits the government from attempting to counter mass illegal immigration no matter what law is enacted or what procedure is established Is a politically driven faction of the judiciary prepared to obstruct things I don't know but in any case I regret if I disappoint more than a few people because we are particularly determined and will continue to do our utmost to honor the promise we made to the Italian people To uphold the rules and laws of the Italian State and we will do whatever is necessary to protect in particular the borders and the safety of citizens
