American Predominance Is Good for the World; Politics Has No Place in Sports: Panel

Democratic Party strategist Hyma Moore and Republican Party strategist Matt Klink joined a panel discussion with NTD to analyze the highlights of President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address. These included the unveiling of a new retirement plan in which the federal government matches a portion of contributions made by American workers whose employers do not currently offer a match, the Team USA men’s ice hockey team being honored during the speech, and the possibility of the country unifying around America’s 250th anniversary.

The panel also discussed how half of the Democratic caucus did not even attend the address, Reps. Ilhan Omar’s and Rashida Tlaib’s attempts to shout over President Trump, and the effect on voters. They also discussed California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s department of transportation issuing 17,000 commercial driver’s licenses to illegal aliens who couldn’t speak English, and Trump’s crackdown on criminality that has resulted in record low levels of crime.
