What a view. Alright it's time to get a fire going. It's going to get cold
tonight because we're right up on top of a ridge so we got the wind coming up
from behind us. So we're gonna get hit pretty good. Buddy, you're making the fire.
So busy flying the drone that we've neglected our fire. Alright, I've been a
fire before. What's going on here? There we go. Alright, so tonight we are just
having some leftover tajitas.
That's hot. S'more number one, ready to go. Alright, time to fire up the diesel heater.
There we go. Here's a little pre-diesel heater. It's about 40 degrees outside, 43 in
trailer. Well we just got in the trailer. It is 40 degrees still outside. Hudson
wants to snuggle. And in the trailer it is 62 and climbing. So I think we're
going to put it on movie and call it a night. Bring it here, that's for dad.
Come here Hudson, bring it here. Drop it. Thank you, good boy.
Sacrificed that for the fire. My hands are so cold I can't even open my bag of coffee.
What are you doing? Are you having fun?
Well good morning. It's chilly. We woke up about midnight to the sound of rain
and the wind howling. The wind was expected as we were up on this ridge. The rain, not
expected. So I had to get up in the middle of the night, move some things around because I had
not put some stuff away because I was not anticipating the rain. Hudson is
already in the truck. He's not a fan of the inclement weather. I'm not either.
I think we're gonna make some quick breakfast and then pack up and get on
out of here. This weather definitely is unexpected. Again it was supposed to be
sunny which is why we came here. Oh well.
If it weren't 30 degrees right now, pretty nice. It's not too bad. Just can't feel my
hands. So we just got done climbing this little hill right here about 20-25
degrees and I had a feeling I knew we were up on a ledge. And sure enough, I mean
that's straight down.
