They'll go green in the aster and hauling and rigging starting zone tonight's main event
is underway.
The last night we ran caution free.
We ran caution free last Friday night.
So two out of the last three, we've not been to the heartbeat hot pit because there's not
been any cautions.
And they go side to side there, Harris and Albertson out at turn number four, lap one.
And it's the 40B out in front, Dustin Jarrett.
Kyle Bronson going to be the leader of this one.
He has not won a Lucas oil late model dirt series race since the silver dollar nationals
2021 is tonight the night KB40 gets back to victory lane.
This thing stays green.
It only takes these guys about eight laps, maybe nine to catch the back of the field
when there's 24 cars on the racetrack and they're turning lap times as they are tonight
in the mid 14 seconds.
This track hasn't really trailed off any from qualifying as Dallin Murray hard into the
wall over in turn number two.
We stay green flag racing.
He actually got that car up on the outside of the wall, and we're going to have a hell
razor jacks caution as there's other cars that have slowed.
Start zone five down, 25 to go on a Wednesday night at Ocala.
And Bronson and Shepard again with a good restart as they go into turn one.
The Shepard shows the outside lane on that restart as things get hairy on back there
from about seventh on back.
Everyone's able to gather back up, and we stay green flag racing.
Brandon Shepard looks down to the inside of Kyle Bronson and trouble for Shepard down
the front straightaway.
And off the pace, trouble for Bronson.
What on earth just happened?
Guys, they were coming off of four.
Bronson got wide, and as he came down the track, Shepard was right there.
They collided.
That sent Shepard toward the infield, and last scored lap, I'm not so sure Shepard went
down front.
We'll see how that goes.
That was chaos.
Hard luck award here early on for Bronson out of this one.
So Shepard, he was running second on the last completed lap.
It's the leader plus three in the Lucas oil series.
Back underway.
We've got six in the books, D.J.
The battle for second.
And on the bottom, here comes Brandon Overton.
He'll get around O'Neal as B.
Shep out in front tonight.
Can he close the deal?
Second here a night ago.
Brandon Shepard out front, side by side now for the second spot.
Hudson O'Neal has got to run down to the inside of Brandon Overton as they fan out down the
back straightaway.
Through turns three and four.
Does Hudson O'Neal have Brandon Shepard this time by the line?
He does.
By a nose.
Yes.
Give second spot to Hudson O'Neal.
Off of turn number four.
O'Neal's only win here at Ocala was in the rocket one a couple of years ago as he out
dueled Clay Harris.
Shepard, O'Neal.
Oh, Shepard got sideways in the middle of the back straightaway, Destin.
And O'Neal is there as they come out of turn number four as we work lap 18 here tonight
with 12 to go.
Business picking up at the front of the field in this one as Hudson O'Neal is right there
in the midst of lap traffic.
Battle route in trouble for Ross Robinson on the high side of the speedway and that
is going to draw the hell raiser jacks caution flag with 12 laps remaining.
At the ace during hauling and rigging, turn four restart on the outside.
Here comes Brandon Overton.
Way up there.
And Moran is going to go to third down the back straightaway.
Don't forget, Devin Moran started eighth.
He's now battling Hudson O'Neal for second.
Still Brandon Shepard out front.
This thing now starting to widen out a good bit.
Down in turns three and four.
Shepard, your leader.
O'Neal second.
Moran third.
Look at Drake Troutman on the outside in the 22 star.
He gets that good run down the back straightaway trying to get a top five finish here tonight.
He is eye wide and handsome through turns three and four.
O'Neal and Moran get the run out at two down the back straightaway.
Brandon Shepard is in the lead.
Cut it down to four car lengths.
He is on the gas out of four to the bottom.
Three to go.
A day at Ocala on a Wednesday night.
O'Neal second.
Shepard still in front.
Down the back straightaway.
Dustin, please stay green.
There's your first PSG of this one.
Please stay green.
Hudson O'Neal down to the inside.
Two laps to go.
They're going to work around the seven of Ross Robinson.
Don't count Devin Moran out of this one, either.
Hudson O'Neal has got to take a little different line.
Oh, and he gets into the wall almost off of turn two.
That might have ended right there out of turn number four.
Barron's performance.
One lap to go.
That might have been all she wrote for B, Shep.
Out of turn number two.
He's going to break the tie with Don O'Neal as long as he crosses the long acre scale.
He'll become the winningest rocket one driver in Georgia-Florida speedway history.
And the checkers go to Brandon Shepard.
Hudson O'Neal finishes second.
Devin Moran third.
