...loves to use, and trying to kill the point early, and I mentioned it, he has to play...
...and again, back to the...
...but his opponent way, way back...
...it's a brilliant serve...
...four shots, chain them together to win the point...
...and knows when he gets the opportunity...
...and just like that, he gets it done, 11-6, having really fought hard in that one.
Gerasimenko just sees five points go like that...
...is trying to attack the service team...
...the day so far...
...both players off the end of the table, showcasing skills...
...Kirill knowing when to hold and get the ball back into the table...
...19-shot rally...
...it's 28 degrees outside...
...well, I saw Gennady yesterday, and he wasn't wearing his hat anywhere else, so I think he just...
...to the table with your A-game, you have to come with three or four tactics...
...second time he's got...
...a bit of a break off the net and seen Shidong diving into the table...
...but it was another brilliant example of Kirill going...
...all over the ball...
...and then Shidong just holding it back in as a great shot, look at that...
...ball is going up to the lights, Gerasimenko in all his glory...
...and then Shidong just teeing off...
...great backhand of his own there...
...and he'll have said that's a good shot as well, but right now...
...gets there and it leaves...
...the man from Kazakhstan with his hands on his knees...
...having dropped a second game...
...to the world number three...
...routed in a local community means that there's such engagement...
...around this fantastic event...
...because it's what he does...
...he's almost surgical in the precision...
...no, we're not going to see one because he just did that...
...yeehaw, giddy up...
...just steps to his right...
...back to normal service if you will...
...and there it is with a stone wall of defense appropriately...
...on the final point...
...he had some moments when he enjoyed that I think...
...Shidong against an opponent who brought some fantastic shot play...
...but eventually succumbed 6-8-1...
...against a man who just makes Singapore his home whenever he comes...
...he looks so comfortable...
...so at home in this environment.
