Last rodeo written on my back window
I've never tried this before
I met you
Here we go into the wildness unknown
You seem to shift what I thought that I knew
Both of us changing our patterns
With every spin
You're cool white as gold
Glass bits and pieces from planets
That I've never been
Fixated on every new shape you're making
Grass ring here at a million
Mixing asteroid blues
Cross between the summer spring
Welcome back to my channel if you're new here
My name is Ash and we are currently in the process of moving into our camper van
But I think it's time to make some breakfast
I am starving
I have been currently obsessed with making avocado toast
I go through phases where I eat something constantly and then I can't stand it
And I went through this phase I think like six years ago when everyone else went through this phase
And I ate it so much that I started hating it
But now I'm back into this phase and I'm loving it
I'm very happy
So I made some avocado toast
Then Fitz and I are going to go on a short walk
And I'm very excited about it because it is beautiful outside
And like what more could you ask for?
We haven't been camping since New Mexico at this point
And we have been dying to get to go camping
Because our neighbor decided to start doing a remodel on his front yard
And there's a lot of like jackhammers and shovels and scraping of rocks
And it's just loud
So we decided midweek we're just going to head out and go enjoy some quiet
And this is where we are
Had a very good morning so far
But the dog is hyper so we are going on a walk
He is so excited to be back camping
He was freaking out last night when we pulled in
And he realized that we were camping
And all morning all he wanted to do was come outside
So he's been outside most of the day
Just on a long lead
And digging every hole he could think of
But we're now going on a walk
Because it is 70 degrees out
And there's no sun
Oddly it's all clouds
And so it's honestly kind of cold
Which is so weird to say
But it's beautiful
I'm in the desert
I'm honestly just really happy
That being said, I know it's pretty early in the video
But I do want to tell you guys
Thank you so much for all the interactions
That you guys are doing
The likes, the comments, subscribing
Honestly it like
Freaks me out to see
All of the
Traction or
Attention that my videos are getting
I woke up this morning and I had
4 new subscribers and that's insane
I'm sure to somebody else 4 is like nothing
But like
I'm just camping
I'm just living my life like I always have
And now I'm just filming it
And you guys seem to like it
I greatly appreciate that, it's just crazy to me
Yeah, thank you so much
I really do appreciate it
I'm genuinely baffled at the fact
That people care
We're just going to enjoy our cute little walk
Get some energy out of this Australian shepherd
Which I don't know if I've mentioned before
His name is Fitz
Which is really hard to understand
For some people, or maybe it's just my family
But it's F-I-T-Z, Fitz
He was named after the main character
From The Assassin's Apprentice by Robin Hobb
And he is an 8 month old
Australian shepherd
We also have a cat who travels with us
But you don't see a lot of him because honestly
He just likes hanging out in the camper and not moving
Staying cuddled up
Antagonizing the dog, honestly
So you don't see much of him because
I mean, no offense
I love my cat, his name is Chunk
But he doesn't do much, and that's fine
My dog is walking like this
Because he's a herding dog, that's why I keep looking down
It's hard to get him to walk in a straight line sometimes
Because he is a herding dog
And when he gets into zigzags, you're going to trip over him
Is anybody else out there obsessed with rocks?
As a kid, I truly thought
At one point that I was going to just study rocks
And tell people about rocks
As a job
Like that was one of my dreams
It went teacher, rocks, volcanoes
When I discovered that volcanoes were a thing
My school library had like
Three books on volcanoes
And I read them
Over and over and over
Volcanoes and rocks were the only ones I read
But they were picture books, of course
So they didn't count for much
So I never had AR points
Are we going down this bud?
Pretty steep here
Well, he did
Hey Fitz, hold on
Note to self, don't ask your dog
Just assume he's going to take you with him
So now that Fitz and I have enjoyed a very nice walk
I think it'd be the perfect day to just sit
And read
And enjoy how peaceful and quiet this place is
Because honestly, how often do you get this?
My boyfriend may lose things
But I forget everything
So
Going on a cute hike
To the mountains behind us
Because they're really pretty
And I can't tell how close they are
And I forgot my SD card
But isn't that really pretty over there?
Now that I have an SD card, you guys can go
So all the rocks we've been walking on
Are quartz
And some of them
Are legit massive
This whole thing is quartz
That's insane
So does that mean these pieces that are more pink
Are they rose quartz?
Because if so, that's pretty cool
This has now turned into a rock account
Look how cool that one is
Hey
You couldn't see it coming
You might have thought it
Ancient
Hey
There's no right or wrong
It's about trying
Find the silver
Rain
You'll name
Lives and cries
You'll have
The time it does
You missed it
You didn't see it
Cause I'm waiting for
You
You missed it
I am going to end this video here
Thank you guys so much for watching
This trip has been so relaxing
And so needed, even though it's not something
We planned for ourselves, we planned it because
My neighbor had construction going and it was quieter
To leave. It still ended up being a perfect trip
Instead of staying the two days that we had planned
To stay, we ended up staying three just because
We were enjoying it so much. I honestly could
Have stayed four or longer just because it was
So nice, but we're currently trying
To see if there's somewhere else we'd like to go
Since it's going to be in the 80s here
To see if there's anywhere else we'd like to camp
And see while we have the time
But that's going to be, like, later
We're not doing that anytime soon. We've got things we have to do
At the house before we can do that
If you are watching this, this is your reminder to
Get outside. Go for a walk
Go to the park, read a book outside
Color outside, journal outside
Play with your dog, go outside
And just enjoy the quiet
Put down your to-do list
Do your chores later
Take a break
I feel like we are all very much into hustle culture
Where we think we have to constantly be productive
And that's what brings value to ourselves as a person
Is the fact that we've done all of these
Accomplishments today, and it's not necessary
You know, you can take care of yourself and have a slow day
And do your chores tomorrow
You don't have to have this massive chore list
That you have to do all in one day. You can break it down
Into different days. It's so nice to just
Disconnect and forget things sometimes
I know I'm a person who's really bad about that
I spent the day before we
Camped, like, cleaning the camper completely
And then cleaning the house completely
And then packing everything, and we got out there
And I was exhausted. Thank you guys for watching
I hope you did enjoy this video. I am very thankful
To everyone who has been
Commenting and liking and subscribing
To the channel. It's honestly just
Still blowing my mind that that's a thing
If you are someone who lives in Arizona
Or, like, around the state of Arizona
And there are places you think that we should
Camp soon, because it's still
Warm here. Like, we're in the 70s to the
80s most days, but if we go
Too far north, it gets freezing
And they're getting snow, and I can't
I can't do that. I mean
I could, but, like, I truly don't have
The clothing for it. I've lived in Arizona
For eight years. Like, I don't have the clothing to
Be in snow. So if there's somewhere that you guys like
To go during this time of the year
Let me know in the comments below. But thank you guys
For watching, and I will see you in the next one
Bye
