Around the end of 2025, I reviewed this little mini basher.
This is the juicy PT14R.
I launched this thing into a pickleball court, I did not mean to do that, I put it through
the toughest thrashing I've ever put an RC car through and it came out virtually unscathed.
Just a broken front bumper.
It definitely earned the title of bulletproof.
That's full speed, wowzers, brakes are deadly on this thing too, holy, that's better, 42
miles per hour.
Guys, I've never launched one that far before, I was only at 75% too, the jump is over there.
Fast forward to February of 2026 and I had the opportunity to review this little scam.
This thing should have been broken several times by now, what about that right there?
This is the UDI RC 1610S.
I had no choice but to use that exact same style of thumbnail and call this one bulletproof
because this one is arguably a little bit bulletproofer than this one.
Excellent!
But in today's video, I want to take a closer look at both of these cars, compare them both
side by side, discuss all the unique features about them, there's a lot of similarities
to discuss and these trucks are just so much fun and they're very inexpensive and I want
to share them with you guys because if you watch my channel, you know what I call these
RC cars, I call these gateway RC cars.
This is a great way to spend $200, get the RC bug and then get immersed into the wonderful
world of RC.
I'm still waiting on some replacement parts to come in for this guy, so you know what,
just give him a break, he's riding on three legs right now, but he's going to do his best,
he showed up to work.
The UDI RC is labeled as a 16 scale and the Juicy's branded as 14 scale, but if you have
a quick look at them, the wheelbases are very, very close, the Juicy being just a little
bit longer.
Both trucks are full-time four-wheel drive, no center differential, all metal driveline,
all metal driveline, ball bearings, ball bearings, 60 amp ESC, 35 amp ESC, 2845, 4700 KV brushless
motor, 2845, 3600 KV brushless motor, 50 mile an hour top speed claimed, 50 mile an hour
top speed claimed, splash proof, splash proof, metal oil filled shocks, metal oil filled
shocks, bearings, bearings.
These guys are so well aligned with one another, but what about price point?
This is where things change quite a bit.
The 1610S sells for $200 American and that's without a battery.
You can add a 3S battery for an extra $50, $250 all in.
The PT14R comes with three 3S LiPos and it's only $169.
I don't understand how they can sell it for that price, both of these.
I don't understand how this is $200 and this is $169.
I just don't get it.
And Midi-Scale Bash Trucks isn't really a huge focus on this channel, but I just love
this hobby.
I love RC cars and I love seeing where the hobby's going.
And I think this is a really fun segment of the hobby for families.
This is a great way for families to kind of get together because these aren't race cars,
but they're a lot of fun and you can get them inexpensively and go out with your kids or
your buddies and bash around, have a great time and know you're going to come home without
breaking a ton of parts.
So let's start off by taking a closer look at the juicy PT14R.
It's got awesome tires with a pretty sticky rubber compound, firm but sticky, good foam
inside, oil-filled shocks.
This body looks awesome.
I really, really like this body.
The bumper used to have lights in it, but I may have smashed those out.
It had the roll bar light up top, the big rooftop carrier there, some little scale details
in the back, body pins in the back with the body pins in the front, which I like on bashers,
big old wheelie bar, all aluminum chassis.
We've got sway bars, adjustable toe, adjustable camber, adjustable camber in the back, sway
bars in the back, metal oil-filled adjustable shocks.
This thing is just built so well.
This is an incredibly tough truck.
And I bet a lot of you guys watching right now are saying, why haven't you brought out
the Rolarlo Rogue One or ROG One?
Two reasons.
First of all, I don't own one and I'm not going to buy one for this video because the
PT14R is basically the exact same truck.
Some might argue they come out of the same factory.
I don't know.
I don't know that information, but if you were to compare the two side by side, they're
virtually identical.
This truck is fast.
It's fun.
It looks fantastic.
It is cheap as chips.
That's my homies in the UK.
And to get into the world of RC, this is a great way to do it.
You don't have to spend a ton of money.
You've got great electronics.
You've got a quick charger.
You've got three batteries for under $200.
Get out of town.
I cannot find a fault in this truck.
For what it is, this is just an awesome way to get into RC.
How many times can I talk with my hand to emphasize a point?
But I'm passionate about this hobby and in a world where everything is getting so much
more expensive, we got to laugh.
We got to have fun in this world.
Things are getting crazy.
If you can get a great RC car for 200 bucks and go have fun with it, dude, you're, you're,
you're ahead.
You're ahead of half the others out there.
The Humonga Cowabunga.
We'll come in medium speed.
It's about medium.
Oh boy.
Yeah.
A lot of, a lot of in air control.
It needs to go a little bit faster.
That's full.
Holy.
I almost took my own head off.
Guys.
I've never launched one that far before.
I'm getting some nasty looks from some old boys though.
They just want to play their pickleball and be left alone.
That was kind of crazy.
Did I break anything?
No.
Did we actually not even?
It's still good guys.
I want to see if we can get a nice little controlled backflip.
Oh, all day long if I just do under drive it.
There we go.
This is a tough little monkey.
You come up, this ramp starts off super wide, it gets super narrow and there's a giant pole
in the way.
We haven't hit the pole yet.
Hopefully we never do.
Let's see what happens.
The pole hugger.
Oh, we nicked it.
Still going.
Now what about the 1610S?
I just reviewed this, so I'm not going to go in a ton of detail, but again, we got nice
big monster truck tires on there, a really cool looking body.
This body actually has a cage inside of it.
Check this out.
This is something I didn't even cover in my review, but there's a cage inside strengthening
this body.
So not only does it have a cockpit with driver figures in there, but it's got this internal
cage to give it a ton of rigidity.
Look at the size of these shocks.
These are beautiful shocks, silky smooth, non-adjustable camber, non-adjustable camber.
We do have adjustable tow up front, big old cooling fan on our ESC and on our motor.
This time we're rocking an all plastic chassis.
Side-by-side you get a good idea of just how well matched these cars are.
They both have three wire servos and separate receivers as well.
Now the big question of the two, which one is bulletproofer?
That's right, I said bulletproofer.
Now that's going to be tough to say because these are both extremely tough trucks and
I'm not exaggerating when I say the hardest beatings I've ever put on an RC car are with
these two RC cars.
I would say the PT14R is a little more drivable.
It's got a slightly longer wheelbase and just a little more manageable power-wise and that's
not taking anything away from the 1610S.
The 1610S is branded as a stunt truck.
It's built to do standing backflips.
In fact, I almost did a standing double backflip with it.
The shorter wheelbase makes it very, very flippy, very stunty, very crazy to drive.
It's a lot to handle, that's for sure.
I love reviewing this car.
It was actually tough for me to review it because I'm a one-man show and I had a hard
time keeping up to it.
The thing just does such crazy stuff.
It's hard to narrate, film, you know, not trip and fall on your face while you're doing
it.
If you want pure, unbridled, insane toughness, standing backflips, hey dude, check out what
I can do.
Kind of an RC car?
This is your guy.
No questions asked.
Both of these trucks are insanely strong.
They look super rad and they're priced really, really well.
Something I also want to add that I think is important is that neither of these companies
asked me to make this video.
I want to share what I know about this hobby with you guys.
You're my viewers.
You guys trust me to review these cars, put them through their paces and I can look you
in the eye and I can tell you I've never driven anything tougher.
Both of these cars will put a huge smile on your face when driving and then what that
does is it opens the door.
You get the RC bug and then you say to yourself, well, maybe I want to build a race car like
a TT01.
That's a really fun chassis.
Or maybe I'll get one of these sweet Yokomos and do something, some four wheel drive vintage
racing.
Or maybe I want to build an RC10.
These are great gateway RCs, inexpensive, get you into the hobby and get people outside
having fun, working with your hands a little bit, wrenching, fixing stuff, you know.
My new spring lineup is here, monoshock or die.
You Tamiya guys know what that is.
That's a back end of a Tamiya hotshot, arguably one of the most iconic buggies of all time.
I had some fun with the Tamiya artwork, kind of made up a cartoon version of it.
And you guys know that back monoshock on the rear end of the hotshot, very, very iconic.
And of course monoshock or die.
It's a fun logo that I just came up with and in my spread shop down below, maybe you guys
don't know this, but I've got all of the poor boys logos in there and you can mix and match
and kind of design your own clothes and stuff while you're in there.
So if you don't like any of the designs that I've made ahead of time, you can go in, pick
a logo, put it on any.
I mean, they've got like thousands of different articles of like clothing, they got hats and
mugs and all this stuff, right?
Throw the logo on anything and you can buy it.
Pretty cool little store.
So check that out.
