Tina Anastasija vs Konink Poiesz Beach World Championships 2025 Highlights Round of 32

Wherever you are in the world, whatever you're watching on as we get ready for more live coverage from the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships. Away we go then. Netherlands looking to get the first point of the ball. That's not going to happen. It's Latvia who have the opening point. Conningham boys aren't 227 in the world. They're not. They're 225 in terms of world ranking. That's somewhere behind isn't it. Big hit. Nicely done. Connick with the serve. Going after Tina. And Tina makes that side out look very easy. Well played. Got the side out. Good touch. And again. Oh what a hit. Magnificent play from Latvia. That's a great read. Good chase. Can the finish match it? Yes it can. Egg serve for Tina Groudina and Latvia are piling on the points now. Well done. Very good side out. Good save. And a really good swing. Well played. Another good swing. Latvia though are equal to everything that the Dutch are doing. We'll go to the technical timeout. Gratefully accepting them. That's better. Working the block and working their way towards this first set. Ah Latvia. Nice powerful swing. Got the shots. Oh going right isn't it for Latvia. Set point for them now. Groudina to serve again. Free ball. And Anastasia delivers. Netherlands with the serve. Going after Anastasia to start with. Anastasia in full control and side out achieved. And an ace serve for Latvia. Look at this. Well played. Look at that three nothing now. And another ace. Oh they've done it again. They've decided not to call the timeout. They just want to get themselves into this chance now. Easily read by Anastasia. But the block will do it. And they're on the board. The serving pressure is just incredible at the moment. They've done it again. One point at a time. Difficult to kind of block that line. It's almost middle court. Still left a lot of line to go after. Nice touch. Lovely pickup. Dutch still keeping the rally going. And they'll take the point. Little bit of luck. That'll do. They're in a great position. Ah Latvia. Great control. But it's Latvia who have control. Oh that was great play. Wonderful work by Latvia. Looked as if that was a swing coming. Looking one way. Able to go the other. There is nothing at the moment. Chance here. And they've taken it. Just ever so slowly. That'll go down as an ace serve. No one could control the ball. Latvia and sending the Dutch home. Oh I say that is an incredible serve. Left. It moved right. It moved left. It moved right. Baseline. Match point Latvia. It doesn't make it over. And it is all over now because Latvia have taken that one.
