What's up guys! It's been a year since we filmed the last tour of the office and a
lot has changed. We've really built out the place so let's come along and check
out all the stuff here at Fusion Sound Lighting Incorporated office. Let's go!
One of the biggest changes, and you'll see it as we walk in, but we did a lot of
work on graphics. Really branding out the place so that way it feels like home.
So, really excuse the mess because you know we're an office. This is the
reality of it. We're doing a lot of new things and the company's growing and we
got a lot of things going on so there's gonna be a little bit of mess. You know
we're trying new products for the built lighting side. We just threw an end of
the year party so we're kind of cleaning up a little bit but this is what the
main lobby turned into. So we got a nice couch here, meeting table, TV, did some
cool graphics up on top here. We have our DJ streaming kind of setup. This is still
coming along a little bit over here but got a nice little hedge wall LED sign.
We got some monitors. This is a stand lift desk so that way we can adjust it
for whatever DJ comes in the film. And we're building out some brackets here in
the ceiling so that way we can kind of like mount a camera here or someone could
pop in with a phone camera and record content. That's kind of what we're doing
here. We also have over here, this is where all of our official DJs are at. So
these are the six DJs on our team that have basically graduated from DJ
training. We're gonna come down the hallway here. We'll get over to my area
here with my cool graphics and my office over there. But we got a nice little
Fusion sign. This is one of the OG Fusion banners. We like used to hang this at
wedding shows. Didn't really have a purpose so we put it up here. Got a
little coat rack and some mess here. New DJ lights. We got Marcellus and Lowe's
office. This is basically both Lighting USA's kind of headquarters. They even got
some spare room for desks. Again, a little messy. A lot of stuff going on. They get
really cold so they have to use their own little heaters. Fun stuff. But kind of a
little filming area and everything for both Lighting USA. Going down the wall, this is
our wall of certified assistants. We started our assistant program about a
year and a half ago now. This is everyone that we've graduated through our
assistant training program. Pretty cool thing. Pretty accomplished on that. Coming
down here, we got Hannah's office. This is basically Fusion Sound and Lighting
headquarters. We got two desks in here. Mariana does all of our sales. She just
started. That's going to be her new desk area. Fusion Sound and Lighting. Hannah's desk.
Definitely a little bit more put together than the both Lighting USA
office. Spare office and storage in the back. This is what we classify as the junk
room. I think just about anybody that runs an operation has a junk room.
We got some of the overflow of snacks and clothing and random new
fixtures that are prototypes for both lighting. Pretty crazy stuff and just all
kinds of junk is the best way to put it. All the stuff that we've acquired after
building out this office space. Now before we get into my office, we're
going to go into Maya's office slash our computer room. I think it's pretty much
Maya's office at this point. She's pretty much taking it over and painted it
and everything. Maya is the one behind the camera right now filming everything.
In charge of all of our content creation. Oh look there you go. On our Fusion
side she does all the stuff for me on the back end. But yeah this is kind of
her little operation here. Here is probably one of my favorite things in
the whole entire office. It lives right outside my office but this is our
culture wall and this has became so important as we've grown the business
and we add more people to the team is our culture and this is kind of one of
the biggest things here that we I wanted to make it nice and big but you
every day are you being accountable are you making excuses so are you above or
below the point of power is what we're referencing there but basically trying
to push everybody to be accountable every single day for what you do how you
do it and lead by example stop making excuses blaming others etc. These are
our points of culture this was like a really cool fun project to establish
these and really push it and drive it home this year but hustle action taking
action ownership excellence teamwork and fun this is this was the main reason we
got all the graphics I really wanted this to be front and center for everyone
coming in every single day and working in the office and you'll see when we go
in the back that's one of the biggest changes that's happened over the last
years there's constantly people in the office we're filming later in the day so
some of the people that are in the offices are gone but you'll see in the
back we still have two or three people here there's normally a cycle of
probably six to ten people in the office space every single day of the
week without probably unless there's no events on like Saturday and Sunday but that's
rare. Coming into my messy messy office right now we just again just did the end
of the year party and I had all these prizes and stuff for the employees come
in so I got boxes and crap here but really the only changes in here are the
fact that I got like a I got like a TV over here on the arm so that way I can
pull that TV out and have meetings and got some furniture in here to have kind
of like some more intimate meetings in the office space and also we added some
liquor pretty much all for the office in here now let's go to where you guys
really want to see which is the back well I guess before we get the back we
still have the snack area this really hasn't changed much it's a little bit of
a mess again just had an end of year party we had a lot of leftovers and
stuff so it's all out and about you know we could work on our cleanliness here
but we're working it's operating come in the back what's up guys you're on
film we're filming we're filming a full tour of the office space for you to
everybody meet this is Lauren Lauren is who fixes all the lights behind both
lighting J's who make sure your lights actually get to you Ivan Isaac both of
them packaging doing stuff around the office but you know this is the I've
talked about this before this whole office is segregated into three
different areas right now we're in the both lighting USA area probably some of
the biggest changes in the back warehouse since the last video we have
the Greensboro hard light home service over there and then fusion in the back
where all the fun gear is for DJing and corporate events so this is the
operation side of things for both lighting USA now we have tons of
inventory we've probably tripled our inventory since I last made this video
we have these designated areas over here this is kind of repair area and
then all of our smaller parts are down through this area just all kinds of
different parts just about every single fixture we have on the both like USA
there's tons of fixtures different parts different knickknacks we even got a
graveyard back there for some of the broken items that we've had of course
you know if you ever buy from us and you have a broken item we replace it so
sometimes things are unfixable so they go into the graveyard for spare parts
for future problems down below for the most part it doesn't happen though got
all kinds of stuff here we got our boys at UPS taking orders out literally right
now that time of day trying to make sure you guys get all your products if you
guys order from us when we ship out the same day so coming over out of the
craziness of the both flooding USA side like that that operation is insane their
goal is literally Marcell's goal in both lighting USA is to kick fusion
sound lighting greensville holiday lights out of the warehouse in the next
two years so all I can say is I appreciate you guys support as we grow
that side of the company it's super fun we start over here I mean right now all
of the holiday lights are kind of in limbo we're in early January so a good
amount of them are still out on jobs they'll come back later but pretty much
everything on that upper shelf there is full of totes of holiday lights when
when we're not during the season and then got a variety of other stuff but
this is kind of the holiday light side of the operation and we just added a
bunch of shelving too so there's a lot more going on so over here this is the
fusion side of the warehouse the corporate side we tried to segregate out
our gear a little bit about what's being used for we have mostly lighting over
there we have the corporate stuff to my right here with all of our audio stuff
some of our pipe and drape stuff this area is expanding just as fast as the
both lighting USA side is the corporate side is really hard to keep up with
space for mostly because we're doubling I think we did like 40 something
corporate events last year and we're set to do even more this year and it's just
growing at a incredible rate but a little bit of gear here we got 85 inch
TVs there's actually some more back here behind behind these totes of holiday
lights but down here we have our snow machines we got two of those we got
hazers foggers dry ice machines these are our Likos we got 12 Likos down
there those are both lighting USA product too it's on the website got our
two 12-foot screens those were in the last video but those are AB stumble ones
we got our optimum short probe projectors that match with them we've
finally moved into SDI very much needed beginning of this last year
SDI converters SDI cables there's more cables behind it video travel rig we got
a wireless video rig here these are to the LD systems Maui 28 mix units I think
I want to make a full video on these because these mix units are insane for
breakout rooms they literally have a full digital processor built into them
with a wireless app control but they're the same as the 28 g3 so they sound
phenomenal but they gave you the full mixer on the back which is pretty sick
I got some 21 subs back there those LD pros coming over here we got some of our
monogram projectors wireless mic units more mic units in here this is a quad
rack double rack for the double rack below it down here is our corporate AV
rack I made a whole video on that thing the beast all kinds of cool goodies in
there power cable tote variety of little speakers up here we got some Mackie
pump goes some Maui five goes and then up top we also have some additional
battery-powered subwoofers from Mackie some normal 12 inch tops 15 inch tops
from LD RCF etc there's also a 10 foot projector screen up there and a tent
just the lesser-used things we put them up on pallets and put them up on the top
side there we've got an old hazer some picks bars up there we don't use them as
much for a lot of our events so they kind of stay up out of the way until we
need them entering speaker world we have a crapload of LD systems Maui 28 g3s
this has been our go-to speaker for weddings corporate events bar none it I
should make like I said I'm gonna make a whole video on the Maui 28 g3s they're
all right here over there's the mix units the tops are interchangeable
between the mix units and the regular units but these speakers for any event
around 100 people which is the average wedding we're doing two of these are
phenomenal it's a true three-way speaker I can't say enough about like awesome
speaker I love them we use them for corporate events all day long using for
back fill side fills out fills side rooms breakout rooms just a very
versatile speaker for around $1,500 and it sounds phenomenal we also have
beside it my RCF rig this is a kind of new probably needs its own video too but
this is RCF AX 15 subs and back there is a case that has the NXL 14s
this is my wedding sound rig it's pretty awesome pretty epic definitely a
lot more punch we have the LD systems Maui 44s as well these are kind of like
you know our bigger sound system and we need a wedding that's like 150 to 150 to
200 we can take the 44s RCFs those can do 200 solid got the big boy RCFs up
here this is mainly for corporate these are the NXL 24s these things are
monsters like these things are insane we can we pair them with four or five
subs I mean these things you can do 600 people like two of these tops paired
with the right amount of subs you can do 500 to 600 people all day long they're
insane LD monitor wedges right here we got a
couple of those I think they're the 10 inch models and that kind of brings us
over here we have our four 18s these are the LD Ikoa pro or not pros but the LD
Ikoa 18s we have four of those 18 inch subs I'm really thinking this year we
might sell these and get some more 21s the 21s are amazing I would argue that
two of those 21s is pretty damn close to four of these 18s they cost more of
course so we'll see where we go from that moving into kind of more of the
niche down there's a lot of pipe and drape a lot of our twinkle lights so we
got some labeling batteries zip ties twinkle curtains these LED twinkle
curtains a lot of clips up here drape clips clear clips bistro lights and you
know you might notice but we have like these magnets really makes it easy to
like move stuff around the warehouse try to make sure everything is labeled as
nice as possible we have generalized cable totes here to have all our cables
gig totes this is our black drapery black drapery white drapery sheer drapery fans
there's a bunch of random stuff up there le foam sticks etc but these are double
deep so there's totes behind them that are pretty much the same so the sheer
drapes here there's sheer drapes in the back variety of jacqueries we're still
trying to find a nice home for the jacqueries need some more shelves little
to say if you're watching this video right now if you see anything you want
me to explain further comment down below and we'll make a full video like I said
LD 28 coming soon definitely that's a thing that needs a full video but if you
see anything on these shelves that you want to see a more in-depth view on what
the gear is let us know in the comments down below coming along you know there's
a lot of gear here and we do a lot of events so we got all of our carts kind
of stacked up here these are where all of our big heavy base plates live sand
bags and then all of our pipe and drape is all up on these hooks and we do need
get some more of that here in the future so we're gonna work on that got some
stage decks some random cables up here we have a lot of our DJ booths we're a
big fan of those pro XT booths I made a whole video on this but we got three
four of those I think I think one of them's out right now trust base plates
gravity base plates products base plates and some random tables as well this is
kind of like all heavy table area some of this is the home service side as well
some of their chemicals and stuff we try to keep the heavy stuff near the door
and there's just some empty totes up there this right here is a cool little
transition but this is just showing you a little bit of the organization back in
we do on operations this right here this color diagram mimics exactly what's
on the floor so when we have a very busy event week what we do is we'll come up
here to the board and we'll have all the events with the gear that they're gonna
have printed out and then we'll write into each of these squares this might be
Rick's wedding this might be Ralph's wedding this might be a corporate event
up here this is why this one's bigger but we actually have them up here where
we can put who is on what event from the DJ's to a corporate event etc and we
can kind of lay out where everything's gonna go we also have a sign-in sign-out
system so one of the biggest things we sometimes have problems with is there's
random you know someone might want to borrow a pair of speakers for an event
or something like that so we try to create a sign-in sign-out system so that
way we know where all the gear is it's a digital system Marcellus might be
stealing some gear for the both lighting they're gonna go film an
educational video for you guys on the YouTubes so there's that but that's kind
of how we did it we did these squares on the floor we've been using them now for
about a year and a half and they're solid we really like the system of the
squares we're gonna make some changes though probably with size this year and
how they're laid out just some minor tweaks we need a little bit more space
in some of these and we can use some smaller ones as well the corporate side
normally takes up way too big that's why there's a huge square in the back but
yeah we also have change there's some gonna be some minor changes on these
coming in the future so maybe we make a whole video on that let me know in the
comments down below this I don't know why this is on the ground like this but
this is our air compressor this totally needs mounted up on the wall but we're
not there yet we have a class B fire extinguisher for
cold sparks we have some this is for the home service side but we got their
leak lowers up here this right here is all the Pro X and gravity
stands and t-bars these are matching the base plates that are right we're right
over on the other side co2 tanks we got three I think these are 20 pound tanks
crank stands in the corner trussing we don't really have a lot of trussing we
don't have a lot of needs necessarily for trussing just yet and if we do we
got some partners locally that we just get more of the same trussing it's
pretty easy to follow truss pins facades up on top some these are all of our pin
spots so we have the both lighting g-pins we also have some Chavez pin
spots we got the infamous burfa right here we got a podium we actually got two
podiums now one of them lives in Raleigh their audio rack back there
Marcellus's video booth is right here he's got a full custom-built I believe
it's a TV booth I think it's a 65 on the front of it or 70 inch this is made
by a rock pretty cool booth and then like I said this is all lighting as we
come along and for the most part on the top side is a lot of stuff that we don't
use very often and then all the usable stuff is kind of down here so all of our
s4 up lights on the bottom here these two cases are not even ours these are
both lighting get those out of here what do you say **** me for eventually
it stops but these are all empty bags these are our spider washers we have a
spider washers up here IR force chroma cannons co2 cannon these are all of our
tubes we have I think some of our tubes are out right now but these are tube
fans and then these are all of our movers for the most part we're using
only splash X's right now the BPM splash X's are the main movers we're
sending out to all of our events when we have them you kind of got it from the
board now we got five DJs in total right now going on six and this is pretty much
what we've needed to support that we got all of our DMX control up here we got
some of them out right now wolf mix is out but we got sound switch units for
all the DJs we got wolf mix for our corporate events and then lastly here
this is a Marcellus's gear so Marcellus and me are kind of the main two DJs so
Marcellus owns some of his own gear so all of the gear he owns sits here it's
pretty much there's a you know ceremony rack and then he owns a couple of the
speakers that live over there they get used for the company too and then down
here is all of our photo booth stuff and that's low side of things low runs a
whole my whole photo booth side now we have two photo booths now I think we're
gonna try and expand to three this year hopefully yeah missed it but gap tape
variety of sizes two inch three inch four inch and then these are our texture
panels this might need a whole video but these are texture panels you can buy
them on Amazon and I just drilled a couple holes on both sides and you can
zip tie these practically any pole and you can create a backdrop with them so
you use pipe and drape poles and we just zip tie them to them too high and maybe
Maya can pop up a photo of a corporate event but these are really sick and they
create a really cool effect and they're not that expensive little ways to use
your gear more and then lastly we got speaker stands we don't use speaker
stands that often but speaker stands sub poles and then these are a couple of our
confidence monitor mounds and a couple of mic stands back there for a variety
of things other than all the gear here I kind of went through everything let me
know what you want to see a video on we also have three vans now in the company
and two full-size trailers and we also have another random trailer that are all
parked out back I think two of them are out doing things right now on the
holiday light side and on the home remember they took the little van for
something today too I can't keep track of all this this is why we have
employees and like I said one of the biggest changes is how many people are
operating behind the scenes making this stuff happen and I actually just realized
it but I skipped over but there's I think eight cold spark units over there
and cold spark batteries as well there's a lot of stuff in the warehouse a lot of
stuff so let me know what videos you guys want to see but as far as the full
tour of the office that's all
