Türkiye 🇹🇷 vs. Spain 🇪🇸 - Highlights | Women's World Championships 2025

Gets us underway with the first serve Almost the first point as well put the over just Way up front and then put away Putting it down and making a statement for the first point of this match Let's see whether this match is going to go the same as the others Vargas has a first hit you'll know when she gets the ball because there'll be a roar or is it a screech either way It's loud However old you are mature you are there are still those butterflies maybe and we've seen it in all the matches Turkey buck the trend I mean this Jackie saw her first serve of this world championships her debut at this level Round herself up But Spain just stood ready and waiting Again They're so ready Turkey have a 100% record against Spain played 919 that's the scale of the task facing the bronze medalist in the European Golden League in this match This has got to go over and it does so chance again Pune's once more on the heart of the action and Just hammers it down No reds around the moon years to set up all into the nets frustration from the power of e Unloads but What a guy was there and then guess who is there? Voice it from one side to the other that's gone high but what a guy will somehow get back Free ball big chance now for Spain. Can they take advantage big hits? Absolutely, they can Maria Segura to swing into and that's it. She was just nice and calm got into a rhythm Did what she's used to 14 years a senior she's been around maybe not the highest level, but European Championships Around the moon this has a look slide doesn't work for Varela Gomez kind of girl will try and put it away Wonderful Camellia again in that power into these swings. I love to see it Another set point for Turkey a side out would do it Yet. It's another great rules how your hand contacts that ball. It's so much harder than it looks That was hard Justin in the amount of force which was applied dispatching it She's been known to kind of crank that into the cross-court this time she keeps her body nice and open finds the line good serve by kick Slide again and this time cross-court, but it comes so steep. It's bouncing in front of defenders Took a block is there once more and then the middle attack Boom, but it states still finding their way under the new coach Eric Sullivan with new players coming through Trying to build up those connections. There's a big hit there, but a great dig by Watergrey and that was a wonderful platform Yeah, but as keeps that in play, but it's a free ball for Turkey a with Vargas on the go and here she is She just moved so fast Okay, again is down picks the ball up and then the ball is down the line from Vargas. Jeez She's a slim And it's in play. That's the key point Did anyone see the hat flashing by Ella has to wait? This came here didn't get the pass right and here's an advantage to cut a court Puts that away Incredible show Fantastic Lazaro arriving from nowhere another great dig and where is yeah, but that's going to this time Those middle fingers of her Fernandez when you try to analyze a finger at 88 miles It's not always easy. Is it? Coming through Jimena Fernandez 9 and 11 for Spain as Caracol lines up Let me swing Going deep even or a guy couldn't get there Big wall, but Vargas didn't do it instead at the hands Spain thought they might have got that one instead. It's a free ball Going fast again. Oh beautifully played. Oh, yes He's out on Ryan Caracol to attempt to close out this match in three Great pick up by Sigourney, but although she got her hands there couldn't direct it where she wanted Ten points so far same as Eric it 12 to Vargas Lovely take by a kind of court fake This is the problem for the power. She's just being blocked out the whole time I'd hit her position right into the passing unit Superb play by both sides and then it still doesn't go down It's next season coach by Alessandro Rafique the Slovenia coach Goodness puts it away Pick a side and try and take angle That's what he saw is just done, but she's picked the correct side the precision passes to Vargas and to the outside Lovely pick up by kind of court. Yeah, but I switches it How to make an impression with you pretty much your first touch Energy and enthusiasm. She does not lack. There's a lovely little sir back set Slide attack doesn't work. Well, you can see why it keeps her position. Can't you? This has been very impressive Justifying the selection just moving it right around the block And down Followed by bull Well, I think Shaheen and Keith all have their timing all set up just now didn't take them long You do just get that kind of deflection out of court But it's frustrating nonetheless Again, okay. It doesn't get the pass. You want it? What can catacomb fashion from that answer? It's just gone over the net and then arriving When jerky I seem to be well on their way have they switched off just got a bit complacent Taking off carapace That was a great serve. Well read and then put away Ganesh is having none of it And it's the top scorer in the match on serve. Oh Yes, there was no way that was not going to be no pressure love In play and it's a good serve as well Two players going to the same ball and this is very much advantage Turkey. Here's Vargas 25 23 Turkey have done it
