Real Madrid 2017 - The DREAM TEAM

In the intimidating corridors of power at the Santiago Bernabeu, Zidane has massaged power brokers as he has his player. He's calmed the waters and set a fire upon it. Architect Zizou, he's got all the angles covered just like he did as a player. Superb reply from Real Madrid. Benzema wants it to work. Oh, what a wonderful strike from Casemiro. A goal from the heavens. And it's Ronaldo. Oh, yes. Oh, yes. Would you doubt him? Would you doubt him? Cristiano Ronaldo. Little touch off. And driven towards goal. Brilliant goal. Inside the opening minute, Gareth failed with an absolute thunderbolt. And Morata was onside. And Modric. Oh, yes. Goodness. It's five. It really is a wrap now for Real Madrid. Benzema was wrestled to the floor. It goes in now. Tremendous goal. Well, it's good. He's trying to earn his stripes again. Rodríguez. Good skill from the Colombian. Back in the team. Back with a bang. Back with a goal. Marcelo. But it's inside. Oh, to the right. Marcelo's right foot. It's a rarity, but it's a rare old goal. Marcelo. It'll be a brilliant pass. And it is. And there's the third goal. Didn't have to break his stride, Morata. Cristiano Ronaldo. Hand and stare. And he's brilliant. They're putting a deposit on the trophy. As the ball back. Kroos winds it up. Perfectly placed. Perfectly timed. Toni Kroos to the rescue. Disappointingly, this is where Real Madrid do have the pace. Kovacic. Pepe leads the charge. It's a 5-on-3 situation. It's not just any 5-on-3. It's Benzema to Ronaldo. And he's walked in from Isco. How about that? Turning defence into offence in one fell swoop. Kroos. Hamez. Lovely ball. Bale trying to find Ronaldo. He's found the man. Could be a penalty. Modric throws it in. Free hammer. What a dramatic equaliser from Ramos. Just about on the 90-minute mark. Incredible. Dani Carvajal is full of it still this late on. On and on he goes. Oh, he's won it for Real Madrid with a fantastic solo goal. Toni Kovacic. Precise. Cristiano Ronaldo. Head down. Perfect finish from Cristiano Ronaldo. How sharp is he? Has he got his speed back? Bale is there. Gareth Bale. Returns gloriously for Real Madrid. Releasing Toni Kroos. Look up to see what's on. Cut back for Ronaldo. Sensational finish and it just had to be him to release the tension. This is round about the time the Ultras start chanting for Sergio Ramos. And a goal. And there it is. Right on cue. Like a magnet. The ball reaches the Real Madrid captain time after time after time. Ronaldo. Platinum goal from Cristiano Ronaldo. Go for goal. Gareth Bale. Scores. Superb strike from the Welsh International. To get away from Honga. 4-0. Wow. The deadly Alvaro Morata. There's Marcelo again. A tank that never empties. Marcelo all the way. That's terrific. That's Ronaldo. That's the tie. That's a perfect hat-trick and a perfect Bonabella night. Goal. Would be a feather in their cap but the first chance opening up here for Morata and he's taking it. 53 seconds. Teammate Manse Kic getting it back from Carvajal. Ronaldo. 3-1 Real Madrid. Morata and he's free. 3-0. Opposed finish from Alvaro Morata. Roger in there. Team display up to now from Atletico. You still feel there's a bit more to come from him. That's really good by Benzema and then Toni Kroos. Brilliant save. Isco on the follow-up and is that the key goal? In my opinion here's Isco. Oh it's gone. Isco has done it and it will be surely six points. Ronaldo's pull back. Hammers left it for Kroos to score. Tristly and Sampling. Sampling there again. There's Ramos who gets away from Recio. Can't steam ahead. Ronaldo's on the score sheet. He can't keep him down. Marcelo though. Pull back. They're whipped in by Marco Asensio. It's an actual winner here. Good cross and there's the chance and there's the goal. Real Madrid have done it and it's Alvaro Morata in the nine seconds. So easy does Ronaldo. Kroos. Benzema. The shot. Benzema. Quickly. That's Palacios. Ronaldo. Unbelievable. This is a team that refuses to buckle. Marcelo. Excellent cross. What a response from Real Madrid. Trying to set him up for the hat-trick. Marcelo. Back to Ronaldo. There it is. Hat-trick number 38 in the famous white shirt. That's 10 minutes they saw for Albeniz. Here's Isco. Oh they've done it again. What a goal. Brilliant run. It is James Rodriguez who does write his name in the history books. Carvajal. Ronaldo equalises for Real Madrid. In a flash. Isco. He has certainly deserved a goal. Nothing is quite falling his way. Meanwhile, Isco leaves defenders in his way. Feeds Cristiano Ronaldo. And Ronaldo gobbles it up. No stopping Cristiano Ronaldo. Scores a goal. They've won the last four games. Brilliant ball from Isco. Cristiano Ronaldo. First touch of the game. Second touch of the game is a goal. Cristiano Ronaldo makes his mark. Real Madrid are the champions. It's been a long time coming. They've waited since 2012 but Zinedine Zidane has guided them once more. Madrid have won the European Cup again and again and again. 12 times champions of Europe. Only this time it's one year after another.
