What Rob Riggle Really Thinks About Travis & Taylor...

I used to do this bit on Fox NFL before the games, before the kickoff and little, little comedy bits. Right. And it was called Wriggles Picks. And then I turned it into a podcast after. And so anyway, it went away in 2020, uh, right when COVID happened. Yeah. And it's, it's, it's like pop culture, sports, movies, books, feelings, relationships. You name it. We're probably going to hit on it. And you and the guy from Steel Panther. Yes. Right. Well, well, Darren Leader. Darren Leader. Yeah. Darren Leader, the drummer. Uh, he and I are good friends. Funny guy. Um, and so we decided to do it together. And then, uh, this first episode, uh, I recorded it was with, uh, with Travis Kelsey. No. Yeah. So, so I'm from Kansas city originally. So, uh, I go to, I've been going to Chiefs games since 75, you know, I mean, it's always posts about it. Yeah. So Travis was gracious enough to come on and it was just, you know, it was pre-recorded. So, um, it was right about the time all the news was hitting about him and Taylor and stuff. So I, I asked a few questions about that, but I didn't run on too deep because he was like, just, you know, don't go down, don't go, don't get too heavy on this stuff, you know? And I was like, all right, dude, don't worry about it. Is there any item of news that more people have been more concerned about in the history of our life than maybe the man landing on the moon NFL, you know, they own a day of the week, right? They own a day of the week, which is unbelievable. So that just shows you their power. Yeah. Then you bring the most popular performing artist, a musician in the world right now who is a billionaire based on her tour alone, who changes the GDP of, of major metropolitan areas. When she visits and you, you slam those two together, they're going to make headlines and romance and Roman throwing some romance and throw some young love, uh, throw in the football hero and the, you know, and the superstar pop star, I mean, it's, it's just, it's tailor made. It's tailor made. No pun intended. I didn't meet Taylor in person. It was an orange carpet, uh, because we, it's like a red carpet, but it's when you do a movie called the Lorax, it was an orange carpet because the Lorax is orange. So, uh, she was in it. She was, it was, it was an animated, it was a cartoon, the Lorax. And so I, I did a voice of the bad guy, Mr. O'Hare, and she was the voice of the, the good, you know, the lead. And it was like Zac Efron and her, and then me and Danny DeVito and Ed Helms. So I actually met her on the quote orange carpet and I shook her hand and told her what I was. Were your kids impressed? Yes, they were.
