Hegseth Praises Trump Admin’s Faith Based Priorities at Nashville Event

War Secretary Pete Hegseth praised the Trump administration’s faith-based priorities on Thursday. Hegseth delivered remarks at the National Religious Broadcasters Freedom 250 celebration in Nashville.

Hegseth described President Donald Trump as a strong supporter of religious liberty and Christian values, pointing to monthly Christian prayer services held at the Pentagon.

He also said the administration has refocused the military on readiness, merit, and unit cohesion.

The war secretary framed issues such as border security and the protection of religious expression as being grounded in the nation’s founding principles.
