NH90 TTH Walkaround: Inside Finland’s Special Operations Helicopter

For the Utti Jaeger Regiment’s Helicopter Battalion, the NH90 Tactical Transport Helicopter (TTH) plays a central role in day-to-day operations.

As the Finnish Defence Forces’ only helicopter unit, the battalion provides Special Operations Forces air power using a fleet of 20 NH90s, alongside seven MD 500s.

Whether counter-terrorism operations, special reconnaissance or direct action, the NH90 TTH is well-suited to Finland’s current defence requirements and operating environment.
