My Grandma's Special Lentil Soup A Simple and Delicious Recipe
Today I'm going to share a precious family secret: my grandmother's special lentil soup. This dish proves that healthy eating can still be delicious and warming.

Ingredients

Capacity: 2-liter bowl
Preparation time: approximately 35 minutes
Lentin – 190 g (about 1 jar)
Soak contact lenses for 5 minutes, then rinse.

Onion – 1 large bulb
Chop the onion finely.

Olive oil
Basil leaf – 1
Dill – ½ teaspoon
Garlic – 3-4 cloves
Add the chopped garlic.
Sweat until fragrant.
Add the onion.
Fry for about 2-3 minutes.
Carrot – 1
Cut thinly
Add the carrot.

Green chilies – 1-2 or to taste
Remove the seeds.
Add the chilies.
Simmer all ingredients together for about 2-3 minutes.
Add the lentils along with the vegetables.
Turmeric – ½ teaspoon
Salt – to taste
Roast the lentils and vegetables for 1 minute.
Water – 1 liter (about 4 cups)
Stir well.
Cover the pot and bring to a boil.
Simmer for 20-25 minutes.
Pepper mixture – 8-12 peppercorns
Cardamom – 1 capsule
Cinnamon – ½ stick
Grind the peppercorns, cardamom, and cinnamon in a mortar.
Discard the cardamom pulp.
A bunch of fresh parsley or cilantro.
Remove the bay leaves.
Add the chopped parsley or cilantro.
Simmer for 1-2 minutes.
Lemon juice – from ½ a lemon
Garnish with fresh herbs and a lemon slice.
Taste and add salt and black pepper if needed.
