COLLEGE DAY IN MY LIFE *junior at UCLA*

My bed is so comfy, I just... Best thing ever. But we're gonna get up and we're gonna make a coffee. So let's go. Here's today's mug. I actually painted this one last summer. It just has like a bunch of little blueberries. Wow, this is beautiful. I have to show you guys what this looks like. That looks so good. Guys, the sun is rising. It's pink. It's so pretty. My boyfriend got me the most beautiful lilies ever. They just smell so good. I wish you guys could smell these. But first, I'm gonna make my bed because I feel like it's such a good way to start your day. And it was laundry day, so I was washing my other sheets. So I was like, okay, I'm just gonna make my bed with my sheets from last year. And I low-key miss them. They're so pretty. Love my blue room, but there's something about like a pink bed. It's just so girly and perfect. And then it got me thinking. I have a lot of white in this room and not that much blue. So like, wouldn't it be crazy if I redid my dorm like middle of the year? Could be kind of fun. I think I would do like a pink shabby sheet, kind of roughly girly. Maybe a little bit of green somewhere. Pink and green vibes could be cute. But just like a little bit of green. I don't know. Oh, it just looks so cozy. I love it. You know what I just realized? This is my first video of 2026. Oh, that's so exciting. I hope you guys had a great New Year's. And I would love to know if you guys made any New Year's resolutions or any goals for the year. I definitely did. This year, I really want to do more hobbies. I feel like college can get really busy. And I'm a junior at UCLA. So like academics definitely take up a good amount of my time. So easy to become really busy doing like all the things you have to do. And it becomes easy not to have tons of time to do new hobbies or try new things. So this year, I really want to prioritize that. I was telling my boyfriend this. And I was like, yeah, I just want to do more side quests this year. And he's like, well, what kind of side quests do you want to do? And I was like, oh, I don't know. Like maybe pottery or something. So we're going to go do pottery tonight. I think it'll be really exciting. It's currently Thursday. So I don't have classes today. But yeah, by some miracle, I only have classes on Mondays and Wednesdays this quarter. Like that's crazy. I feel very lucky because that's just crazy. And one of my classes, so fun. A really small class. The professor always starts class. He'll be like, okay, everyone close your eyes. And he's having us do these affirmations. But he's written them and they're like funny. Like he'll put jokes into the affirmations that we're saying. Oh my goodness. This blush is my favorite. It's a shade baby. But on the first day, he was like, had us all repeat after him. And I'm not going to stress about my grade. And then the whole class would be like, and I'm not going to stress about my grade. And then he goes, which I know is going to be an A. And then everyone in the class is like, which I know is going to be an A. He's great. He's a great professor. But anyways. But yeah, if you guys made New Year's resolutions or goals, I'd love to read some of them. I'm going to finish up my makeup and I will see you guys in a second to pick out an outfit. Okay. I know I said I was going to go finish my makeup, but Olivia Dean in the morning, getting ready. Such great vibes. Also, I just remembered that study abroad results will come out today. So at some point in the middle of the day, I'm going to have a very important and exciting email come. So fingers crossed. Okay, let's pick out an outfit. I have kind of an idea in my head. These are the leggings that I'm thinking of wearing. Super cute Lulu leggings. Okay. I decided I'm going to start with a white tank top, a little bit thicker than my other leggings. It's not like cold outside, but it's like, you know, I think the extra warmth could be perfect for today. I love these. They're so cute. Okay. And then could either crop this to be like in off the shoulder, swoopy Pilates girl vibe. The back is the star of the show. Oh, it's so soft right now. You know when you get a new hoodie and it hasn't been washed yet. So the fluff inside is like so fluffy. Here's if we left it. I feel like it's cute. I think we have to crop it, but I'll tell you guys about study abroad while I'm cropping this. Last month, I was studying for finals and I was taking a little study break and I was looking at all the study abroad stuff. A program in Paris was still open. So I was like, should I be applying to this? My thing with study abroad was I originally thought coming into college that I would not study abroad. I kind of thought that if I was doing a Europe or any trip for that matter, that I wouldn't want to have school with it as well. Then all of my friends went abroad. Also went to Paris and I was like, I love this. I could see myself here. And I was like, wait a second. This could be really fun. So I applied as like a, oh, we'll see if I get in. But now I'm like, I hope I get in because I think it would be so fun. Like living in Paris, eating croissants. I don't know. I just, I think it could be really exciting. Oh, okay. I think this is the move. I'm also going to do this little clip because it matches the leopard print. Fingers crossed that I get in. If I don't get in, then it just means that someone else is going to be living their study abroad dreams. And I would be so happy for that person, whoever they are. Either way, it's going to be a good day regardless. I'm going to do a little chunky gold chain. The pain of putting on a bracelet. Okay. Don't judge what I'm about to do right now. It's the only way. Okay. Simple hoops and little rings. Okay. I think we're ready to go. Okay. Here's a little haul of what I got. I'm super excited about these. Trader Joe's Cacio Pepe puffs. Let's try one. She's very cute. Wow. That's delicious. Next up, organic guacamole. And it just looks like it's going to be good. So, got some raspberries. I've been craving these. Oat milk. And then, I wanted to get something fun for Valentine's Day. And this was like the new Chobani seasonal creamer. Chocolate covered strawberry. And honestly, I don't know if this is going to be good. Okay. I can't decide how I feel about this. If anyone's wondering what deodorant I use. Now, I'm going to go home, make a quick snack, and get ready for my workout class. Okay. I just had some oatmeal and some of the raspberries. And it was so good. But I'm like kind of running late. And the driver is on the way. So, I'm going to head down. And I'll see you guys in a sec. Okay. I just got back to my dorm. That was so fun. They sent me back with some goodies. I'll show you guys in a second. But, study abroad emails are out. So, let's open that first. I'm so excited. I'm so nervous. I just feel like opening this email could be such a different experience. Like, it doesn't even feel like I'm just like opening the email. It feels like I'm opening all of the adventures that would happen if I were to go study abroad. So, I'm nervous. Okay. Oh my god. I got in. It says, Dear UCLA student, the UCLA International Education Office has approved your application for UCEAP. Thoroughly read this message. It contains important information. Blah, blah, blah. Oh, that's so exciting. Okay. Well, now that that's done, I'll show you guys what I got from the event. Here's the little gift bag. This is like fully stocked. First is that setting spray. And then, ooh, this is their perfume. I'm so excited. I think this is the same one I have. I love it so much. Also, a fun thing about going to Charlotte Tilbury events, anytime someone asks me my name, they're like, oh, it's Charlotte. And I think that's kind of funny. This is a different kind of setting spray. This is the concealer. And this is the blending brush. Some setting powder. They gave me a hydro jug. I'm so excited about this because I actually left my water bottle at home. I'll be much more hydrated now. Ooh. Okay. This one's from L'Oreal. These look so good. I've seen these all over my For You page. So that's exciting. We'll do the big box. Oh. Oh my gosh. Another one from L'Oreal. This one's bigger, so I feel like it's a hair product. It is. Three different kinds of conditioner. And they all do different things. Oh, I'm super excited to try those. Do the other big one. This one is the heaviest. Ooh. Okay. This one's from Glomo. It's like the first thing. Some workout pants. Super cute. Little fold-over gray lounge pants. Looks like they're kind of bell-bottomed, so those will be super flattering. And they're long enough, which is awesome. Matching long sleeve. Ooh. Oh, wait. This is super cool. Looks like there's a sports bra lining inside, and then it's like a wrap top. A little walking fanny pack. This will be super good for, like, going on walks and stuff. Wow. Oh, I'm excited to wear those. Last one is a package from Makeup by Mario. Oh, my gosh. Wow. Okay. I think all of the individual products are in these little wrapping things. Oh, cute little lip and cheek tint. I feel like they're all going to be different colors. Yeah. This little rosy color. This is so pretty. Then this is a different shape, so I'll cut it open. Ooh, yes. Okay. Ah! These are all just a bunch of different lip liners, so thank you. I'm so excited to try these, and my camera's about to die. Ah! Okay, well, transition to when I'm going to the library. Okay, I just rinsed off, and now I'm going to touch up my makeup and get ready to go paint pottery. I think I'm going to do some sort of a mug, because that's, like, kind of what I would use the most. I'm also going to try vlogging when we're on the date, because I want to show you guys what we end up making. So let's pick out an outfit. I kind of want to wear this sweater. I love the buttons on this, because they're almost, like, seashell-looking. And then I'm thinking I'm going to do dark wash jeans. I think these, I think, would be good. Okay, I think these jeans are perfect. And then I just put my wings back on. I switched my hoops to this really pretty pair of, like, they're almost oval hoops, but I like them because they're just something a little bit different than, like, a typical hoop. And then I'm going to try the new perfume that they gifted. Oh, wow! It's giving, like, it girl, just move to the city, classy, chic, elegant. I love this. This is actually one of my favorite perfumes I think I've ever smelled. Okay, I think I'm all ready, so I'm going to head out. All ready for bed.
