ROCKY S ITALY Florence Donatello s Pulpits in San Lorenzo

Donatello’s beautiful bronze Pulpits in San Lorenzo in Florence, Italy, were two of his last works and found in his studio upon his death in 1466. They are referred to by the scenes they depict. The north pulpit is called the “Resurrection Pulpit,” while the south pulpit is called the “Passion Pulpit."
