Hi! Welcome to Dixie's Storytime World, where we have loads of fun using our imagination
to explore new worlds. Let's meet my first AI robot, written by Amber Ivy. To get your copy
of this book, check the links in the description at the bottom of this video. Nolan was so happy
to play. Today was special, his third birthday. His sister Addie had a surprise, a small robot
friend named Jazz, just about his size. Jazz the bot wasn't a boy or a toy, it was a robot
that Addie found along the way, lost and needing help to get back to its lab the next day.
For now, Jazz would watch Addie and Nolan play with their friends, and Jazz learned from them
from beginning to end. As the party wrapped up, Nolan said, Jazz, my friend, you're not alone.
With Addie and me, you've found your second home. Jazz let out a beep-beep-bop, with friends laughing
non-stop. The music, the games, and so much more showed Jazz what friendship had in store.
After the party, the night had only just begun. There was more fun and learning still to come.
Addie and Nolan showed Jazz their toys and books. Jazz observed, absorbing with every look.
After hours spent playing with their robot friend, Nolan and Addie's night finally came to an end.
Nolan and Addie went to sleep, while Jazz stayed quiet, not making a peep. Addie dreamed,
Nolan snored ever so light. Jazz processed, creating memories, watching all through the night.
We know robots are smart, that's true, but Jazz realized it had much more to learn from humans,
too. As the sun came up and the night set so long, both woke up to Jazz's AI song. With all the
laughter, music, and fun from the previous day, Jazz had learned to sing in its own unique way.
Jazz, sounding like one of Nolan's toys, began to combine words with sounds.
Nolan and Addie truly loved the song, but now it was time for Addie and Jazz to mosey along.
Both were set to go. Reflecting on the time they spent off to the lab, Addie and Jazz went.
Nolan stayed put, feeling a bit sad. Then he thought about the gadgets he had,
from his new watch to his parents' car that doesn't use fuel. That's when he realized,
I just met my first AI robot! How cool! Maybe one day, I can bring Jazz to school.
This is where we pause our story today. But you see, this isn't where their journey ends.
No way! Ready for more learning and fun? With Nolan, Jazz, Addie, and you, yes you,
the story has just begun. The end. Or is it the beginning?
