What Will A Cheetah Eat Zebra Pork Chicken Eggs Arm Or CHEETOS Gabriel Given Choice Of Foods

Gabriel's always been a finicky eater. Oh what do you think? Oh I didn't like it. And not eating his broccoli that's good for him. From various species of antelope to rabbit. Prey animals a cheetah would typically eat. There you go. This time I thought it would be interesting to give Gabriel a choice of meals. See which one he ate first and avoid it. And as always toss in a curveball. Hey. All right so what I got here. Hey Gabriel. I got a little taste test gonna happen here. Not that of course. That's a nice solid poo. For health reasons poo from captive cheetahs needs to be removed promptly. Taste test coming for you. Oh you know I want to taste your beard first. Now of course I clean that up before the test. I got a little taste test thing going on with Gabriel here I'm gonna do. Oh yeah. Hey buddy. You're gonna taste me first though. What do I want you to eat basically? I got some of Gabriel's favorite food. And uh something uh different but you know not uh not totally unusual. What is that? Look at that. There's a little dinner plate here. I'm gonna put it along the uh this I clean this sanitize that board. Right Gabriel? I always sanitize. I sanitize this board with some pine gel and scrub it down. I was anxious to start but I couldn't with Gabriel lingering around. And I don't like locking him in his feeding pen unless he's actually eating. But for this taste test I had to for a short while. There you go. Good boy. This has got your zebra on the end here. Ostrich. Uh drumstick chicken. Pork. Boneless fish. A raw egg. A regular bald egg. And Cheetos. Oh I had to make room for the human arm too. I have the human arm right there. All right let's do this. I didn't have any help in this. So I opened Gabriel's pen and promptly moved to the test site. Taste test is commencing. Here it comes. Of course cheetahs are way faster than humans. Wildlife videography can be difficult. Gabriel jumped on the wrong side of my taste test. Look out here look. In here Gabriel look. Here look. Here. Zebra. Gabriel here look. Cheetos. Gabriel won't eat it. He hates everything. He likes it. Hey Gabriel. Incredibly Gabriel went for the Cheetos first. I was thinking to myself. Where's Gabriel and my Fetolase product endorsement money? Oh there you go. All right now let's see what the Cheetos will eat. He went for the Cheetos first. I got a human arm here too. So that's uh Gabriel's favorite there on the end. That's a zebra. Fresh zebra. Yeah I know I fouled this up by pointing at the zebra. But I had to get him started anywhere but on the Cheetos. That was just a joke. That's chicken buddy chicken. Yeah chicken leg. Chicken drumstick. Yeah buddy. So he picked the things that I would typically expect him to eat first. I used to think he said uh ostrich. Oh yeah ostrich buddy. Oh fresh ostrich. I'd eat that long long ago. About six months ago I gave it a chunk. That's uh pork buddy pork. Hey eat your ostrich buddy. Well he came uh Gabriel's so athletic he uh jumped on the tall side of this platform. Ahead of me. I was trying to get him to come from the other side. That's pork buddy and fish. What do you think? Okay Cheetos it's Cheetos. I don't want Cheetos. I can't have Cheetos. That was just a joke. That's egg buddy. What do you think? Egg. There's fish. Cheetos is actually for me buddy. But look how you wanted Cheetos. It's funny. I got a cheesy the cheesy flavor. Like the ostrich buddy. Yeah that's uh pork baby. It's uh that's pork you know Gabriel. More pork. I didn't have warthog as a meal menu for Gabriel. He was eating domesticated pork. Something I found at the local grocery. I prefer my Cheetos only a wild game meat. But it's not always available and expensive. Warthog is a prey menu item for Cheetos in the wild. But only small sub-adult and baby warthogs. Due to the size strength and aggression of warthogs Cheetos do not hunt the adults. They'll flee from adult warthogs if challenged. Cheetos and these wild predators have amazing digestive enzymes and acids in their stomach that just breaks down bone. I hate that but you like that huh? So it's not uh it's not bad for them to eat uh pork. Raw pork. It's okay. Well I'm amazed you wanted to eat Cheetos. No. There. Here take an egg. Here. Egg. Simply egg. Here. What do you think of that? You like that? You like that buddy? Put it up there. I'm actually afraid he's gonna eat uh Cheetos huh buddy? I don't want you eating Cheetos. That was just a joke. That was a joke buddy. Here's your egg. That was just a joke eating Cheetos. I don't want you eating Cheetos. Hey look at this girly egg. Look at that. You like that buddy? Oh you chewed into it. Look at that he bit into it. That's perfect. You like that buddy huh? No. What do you think you're purring? He's purring. It's egg buddy. Hey interesting how Cheetos don't like eggs. I want to see if uh well Gabriel's a picky eater too. So has he's ever experienced an egg until maybe a year ago when I tried feeding one before. It's not natural food for Cheetos anyway either. Not our chickens you know maybe ostrich. Now I thought Gabriel might enjoy the egg since he loves chicken so much. Or even the raw egg. It's just not the same. It's the smaller cats that enjoy eggs. So pretty cool. That's it. Gabriel you have a fish too buddy. I thought he might eat the raw egg. My fish. Look at my fish. No not a fish eater. Like that egg huh? Raw egg? Boiled egg? Huh? What do you think buddy? No. Hey about eating things I was expecting too. Except for Cheetos. You like Cheetos. That's incredible. You like Cheetos buddy? Okay I can't eat Cheetos. That's not good for you. It's not good for me actually. Too much cheese for me. Well thank you Gabriel buddy. I can't even have Cheetos. Oh my gosh he was gonna actually eat Cheetos. Can't have you do that buddy. It's not good for you huh? Gabriel spots his girlfriend next door and bails on the taste test. There he goes. He just uh. He's off to see his girlfriend. But once she ditches him he comes back for a second. Here. Egg. He wants the Cheetos. You're funny. No I can't ever have you Cheetos. My goodness. No I wouldn't do that. I would not do that. Oh he's licking the egg a little bit. He tasted the egg yolk. On a raw egg. He didn't like it. Well Gabriel that's cool that you actually tasted it you know. Try something different right buddy? Oh where's your girlfriend? Oh there's Hunter way down there. Yeah there's Hunter way down there. Huh buddy? Oh someone can't have that. No I just did it. Oh here there you go. There's a piece of meat. There you go. How that stands. It looks like a Cheeto. It's got this red bone. There you go buddy. It's part of that uh chicken bone I think. This was normally a fast day for Gabriel. I thought it'd be nice to give him a little treat. And a little uh little skit. It's uh interesting what Cheeto would eat. As expected he ate what I thought he would. A Cheeto that likes Cheetos. Well I would never ever give it to him. There's no way. All right buddy? Yeah. That's all buddy. It's a little treat for you. A little entertaining treat. You get to see your girlfriend Hunter even. Isn't that nice? He loves Hunter. He just loves Hunter. I gotta hide these Cheetos from him. I gotta rest this food. Yeah that's all. Gotta hide these Cheetos from him. Yeah. Bye buddy. Come on that's all. We'll get you regular food tomorrow. Yeah. So caring for Gabriel is just an absolute reward for me. Now I joke about Gabriel not eating his broccoli. But for one serval I know it's a menu item. His favorite is broccoli. In the future I may attempt another what a Cheeto will eat. Include a more comprehensive wild game choice. And include other Cheetos to show you the spice of life is a variety. Where finicky eaters exist and how to get them to eat their broccoli.
