Hi guys and welcome. Today's video is all about the reformulated Tom Ford and today I'm going to be using one of the quads and this is in the powder formula and this is number 27 Evening Attire. Now in the powder formula there have been five shades that have been released. One of them is new and this is the new shade. I am wearing it now. I'm going to give you my thoughts on this palette and although I never purchased and I haven't got in my collection the original Tom Ford, the Coco Mirage, I'm also going to discuss whether this quad is similar or the same as that one. So I'm actually in the middle of filming another video as well so I've got on a new foundation that was probably released about a week or two ago and doing an old and new formula side by side and I think that video will go up after this one. So let's take a look at this new Tom Ford quad. This is the one number 27 and this is in Evening Attire. Now on my thumbnail I said is this the reinvented Coco Mirage. Now I purchased this from David Jones in Australia and on the David Jones website it had 27 and they called this Coco Mirage and someone quickly in my Instagram messages, I don't know who they are, messaged me and said that is definitely not and where did you get that from that is not like Coco Mirage at all because I did put up a story saying Coco Mirage was coming back and they said it's not like that and they corrected me and when I look back on the Tom Ford website under the official photos and there it does have in small writing number 27 Evening Attire and that's what it is called on the back here. Now I've also done a short on this and also an Instagram reel on the Evening Attire as well and it's quite interesting because a makeup artist and also someone that works at Nordstrom also messaged me and they said now it's really interesting she said because they have been told that this is Coco Mirage and they said really they've also been told that it's a mixture between Mink Mirage and also the Coco Mirage as well and I would say it possibly is a mixture between the two and I think it is very similar to the Coco Mirage. Now unfortunately I do not have the original Coco Mirage I never purchased that one but I do have the Mink Mirage so I will swatch that one for you so you can see them side by side. So this Tom Ford quad this is the new formula so this is the powder formula and there are five shades coming in this and there is the one new one and this is the one new one in the Evening Attire. Now there's also going to be five cream formulas released as well and there are no new shades in that. Now I also picked up a couple of those and the packaging on this one and also the one for the cream formula is just absolutely beautiful. There's also going to be five I've got my notes down here there's also going to be five Tom Ford Soleil eye color quads as well there is also one new shade of that and that one's called number 03 and that one is Moonlight Dip. So this is what it looks like and I'd have to say that the packaging is really really beautiful it has this big gold tee down the front it is just a clip closure it is not magnetic it is made in Italy it has a shelf life of 12 months from date of opening and this also has 11 grams of product and what I'll do is I'll have a look in a minute at the Mink Mirage one that I have that's in the powder formula and I'll let you know what the grams were in that one. So here she is up close and I do think she looks really really lovely but of course you've got the shiny outer and then the gold tee down the front as well and it does show fingerprints it's just that I gave it a wipe before I did this video and in here you've got a mixture of you've got a couple of mattes you've got a shimmer and you've also got a demi matte as well now this does come with a couple of brushes as well just like with the other previous Tom Ford quads and sometimes I do use those so here is the color story of 27 Evening Attire I think it's beautiful this is not in pristine condition because I have worn this I think two or three times now and I just think it is absolutely beautiful. So here it is swatched from left to right and top to bottom in the quad so the first shade here is a matte next we've got shimmer this shade here is a demi matte and this one is a matte so this is the color story Mink Mirage so what I'll do is I'll swatch this as well actually what I'll do is just grab the other palette and show you them side by side this one here this is Evening Attire and this one here is Mink Mirage and here is swatch so this one underneath is Mink Mirage up top we've got Evening Attire and again this Mink Mirage one is swatched from left to right and top to bottom now I would say when I swatch Mink Mirage it does feel silkier than the Evening Attire but in saying that the times that I've worn the new one in Evening Attire it just works really really beautifully now as I was saying earlier I did put up a short and also a reel on Instagram showing this new quad and I did show it in natural light so I'll put that up now so you can take a look because I also took still pictures in natural light as well so I'm just wiping off on my hand the Mink Mirage because someone asked me after I put up the short if I could show the eyeshadow quad from Victoria Beckham Beauty the one in Victoria because they thought that they looked sort of similar and I haven't swatched them yet side by side but when I had a look last night when I pulled out the Victoria Beckham Quad in Victoria there were a couple of shades that look similar but the Victoria Beckham Quad that looks can look quite dark on the eye whereas this one because it's got this beautiful this gold shimmer it really does lighten up the look but I will swatch it so you can take a look actually when I hold up the Victoria Beckham one there's probably three shades that may be similar of course we'll see once I've swatched it these two shades and this one here but there's nothing like this one here in the Evening Attire but I'll swatch it on my hand so we can take a look so here is the Victoria Beckham one in Victoria swatched so these two shades when you sort of look in the pan look a little bit similar but this shade is deeper and of course there's nothing like this one in Evening Attire this shade here has it's got more of a brown in it then where am I going up here with the Evening Attire and then lastly we've got the Deeper Shade as well now the one in Evening Attire I would say that has a slight it's got a red undertone in it whereas the one in the Victoria doesn't so they do look quite different so the one in Evening Attire it looks also more brown than the one Victoria from the Victoria Beckham Beauty Eyeshadow Quad so now I'm just going to wash all those eyeshadows off the back of my hand because I don't want to transfer them onto my clothes now with this Tom Ford Eyeshadow Quad what I've done when I've worn it the last I think it's been at least three times that I've worn it now I've just done the one sort of eyeshadow look because that's how I normally put on my eyeshadows but I think what I'll do today is three different looks so what I'll do today is one on each eye and then for the third and final look I'll do the one how I've been wearing it for the last two or three times that I've worn it so also off camera I've now done my eyebrows and I've also put concealer on and also some eyeshadow primer as well I have oily skin so I really need to wear an eyeshadow primer but I will say that the last few times that I've worn this eyeshadow and yesterday it was crazy humid it was so humid that it's almost when you went outside it's almost like you could drink the air it was just really really disgusting and this eyeshadow just lasted absolutely beautifully so what I'm going to do is I'm going to start off with this shade here this is a matte and I'm going to take this all over the lid through the crease and up onto the brow bone as well thank goodness it's not quite as humid today that's supposed to drop it is still a little bit humid and that's why I've got my hair up at the moment I've got a little fan going and I do have air conditioning on in the house but it really doesn't quite reach this room so I need that fan going but at the moment it feels pretty comfortable in here so with the shade this one was the matte and it goes on really really beautifully it just blends really beautifully so even though with the Mink Mirage one when I said it swatched it felt more silky I don't have any issues with these blending whatsoever so what I'm going to do is I'm just going to grab another brush the Raffa number three the one that I just used that was the Raffa the Shodo and that was the 03 next I'm going to grab the Raffa 03 and I'm going to put this one on my lower lash line then I'm going to take my Raffa number 14 and we're going to go into this shade here and this one is described as a demi matte and I'm going to put this one through the crease and blend this out onto the brow bone as well and again it's blending out really really beautifully I was so impressed with this I should have called one it was just so hot and disgustingly humid you say really impressed with how it stayed it didn't crease or fade it just wore so so well so I find that these are actually quite pigmented so I just pick up a little bit at a time that's how I'd rather put on my makeup I'd rather just build it up more slowly you have to swipe down my brush and now I'm going to go into this shade here this is a matte shade and again it is very pigmented so I just pick up a small amount I can always add a little bit more if I want to and just going to blend that out and a little bit up onto the brow bone as well then next I'm going to stay with this dark shade and I've got my Raffa number 13 it's really like the 14 except it's smaller and perhaps a tiny bit more dense and I'm going to stay with that deeper shade and put a little bit in through here and up here as well and what I'm going to do is put the shimmer shade in the middle but before I put the shimmer shade on I've gone back to the Raffa 3 and staying with this deeper shade and I'm going to run a little bit of this on my lower lash line next I'm going to take that Raffa number 02 and now I'm going into this shimmer shade and I'm going to put that through the center just tap it in very lightly now if you use your finger then you will get more payoff but I find there's enough payoff by just just tapping it in using the brush and I'm just going to take a little bit of that up onto the brow bone as well now sometimes when I do this type of eye look I can lose a little bit of the deeper shadow so what I'm going to do is just go back to my brush and just blend it out again just so I don't lose that depth and I'll just stay with this brush and make sure I just blend that through because sometimes a shimmer shade can take over a little bit more than I want it to I'm going to take a clean fluffy brush and just go over all of that and just blend it out so for this eye look I thought I would stay away from the deeper shade and see what I can do using these three shades here so again going back to the Raffa the Shodo brush back to this really beautiful matte shade and just taking this just like I did with the other eye all over the lid through the crease and up onto the brow bone as well I've wiped down my Raffa number 14 and next I'm going to go into this shade here and again put that through the crease and up onto the brow bone and I was going to take this over the lid as well but I think I'll leave it I'm just going to put it through here just to add a little bit more depth through here what I will do with that same shade Raffa number three that I have wiped down I am going to put this on just through here my lower lash line and then last I'm going to go into the shimmer shade again using the same brush that Raffa number zero two and this time I'm going to tap this I'm going to put it all over the lid so it's going to end up more of a lighter look and I'll just tap lightly in there again just so I get to build it up but this is a really beautiful gold shimmer shade it's very very pretty so off camera I've just put on a small amount of eyeliner and also a little bit of mascara as well I didn't want to put it on too much because I've got to wash this off soon for the third and final look but here are the two different eye looks and I really like them both I love this one and I love that shimmer shade and you get that real depth on either side as well and I think it really pops but on this one if you want to go for a lighter look then I think this is really pretty as well so now I'm going to wash this off and then we'll be back for the third and final look so let's get into this third and final look now this is the one that I've been wearing for the last three or four times that I've used this palette I can't remember I think it's at least three times I've used this it's just I think it's so beautiful so again take the Raffa the show day brush and start with the shade this is the matte one take this all over the lid through the crease and up onto the brow bone as well same shade Raffa number three brush and put this on my lower lash line Raffa number 14 and go into this shade here and the same placement through the crease and blend it up onto the brow bone as well I've just swiped down the Raffa number 14 I'm going to save that brush now I'm going to go into the deepest shade here and there's a little bit of kick up in the pan it's not too bad though and take the shade into the outer corner again these are quite pigmented so I've only picked up a small amount if I need to add a little bit more I will then I'm going to take that Raffa number three I'm going to stay with that deepest shade and I'm going to run this on my lower lash line and finally I'm going to take the Raffa number 02 and go into this shimmer shade and just tap that through put that over the rest of my lid and just lightly tap it through to the center as well I'm also going to take a little bit up through here now I just love the shade so this is where this quad really does differ from the Victoria Beckham Beauty one is that you can add that you can get that depth but you can still get that really beautiful lightness as well I'm just going to take a clean brush and just go over what I've done just to blend out any harsh edges but I'm really no issues with this formula whatsoever I think it blends out beautifully it also builds beautifully as well and I think the shades are quite pigmented so quite interesting when you do a swatch like with the Mint Mirage and the initial swatches you feel that they're more silkier than this one but going on this just goes on really really beautifully now I think I need a little bit more depth on this eye so I've just grabbed the Raffa number 13 and the deeper shade and just go in fairly gently and just tap some in and then go back to that brush where I used to blend everything out and soften edges and just blend that out gently just to give and I think that's better I think that matches the other eye now so again just put on a little bit of eyeliner and some mascara and here is the finished eye look and I think this is just beautiful and definitely my everyday type of makeup even though it's a little bit more smoky in the outer corner this is still really suitable for every day and I think it just looks really really pretty so now I'm going to put on some blush and lipstick and I'll speed through that and give you my final thoughts so I can buy all that I want but I've got all the smiles that I need they say get famous so everyone will know me but that sounds like a movie I don't want to see they say get smart so I can solve any problem and here is the final look and now I've got blush and lipstick on as well the whole look I think is just really pretty I think this eyeshadow quad the color story is just gorgeous and I also really like the formula as well I found that it just blends out really beautifully it has a decent amount of pigment and you can certainly build it up for me I tend to go lightly at first and build it up that way but if you want more punch to begin with then you can certainly get that and also as I mentioned earlier for wear time it is just fabulous you say was so hot and disgustingly humid and this did not crease and it didn't budge and it lasted and I wore it you say it would have been at least 12 hours it's just really really gorgeous so is it the new Coco Mirage I don't think so but I think and I haven't got the original Coco Mirage but I do think that it is Coco Mirage reinvented so that's what I'm going to call it the packaging is gorgeous I love the redesigned packaging it's really really beautiful it has that beautiful generous size mirror if you want to do makeup like that it's certainly easy enough to do with such a good size mirror and the color story the formula is just gorgeous and I know that I'm going to be using this a lot for my everyday makeup so I don't know when this is going to be released in the US I don't think it is going to be too far away and when
