Blackmon tells us this endangerment policy found carbon dioxide—which is plant food, what humans breathe out—is a pollutant. This greatly inhibited government activity and U.S. production, and did not protect the environment. Furthermore, he adds, scientific research has recorded that levels of carbon dioxide are historically low today.
