Prolonged cold triggers wave of burst pipes at the Jersey Shore

Prolonged cold weather has led to a surge of burst pipes along the shore, keeping public works crews, plumbers and fire departments moving from one emergency to the next.

In Ventnor, public works crews have been fielding an unusually high volume of calls as pipes continue to fail in freezing temperatures.
