♻️🍓Upcycled Cream Jar: Mini Berry Cake
🍓 From Empty Jar to Delicious Berry Tart! 🍰✨
Don’t throw away your empty skincare jars! In this video, I’m showing you how to upcycle a basic plastic container into a realistic, mouth-watering dessert jar. This is the perfect blend of Decoden art and fake food DIY.
The Process:
The Base: I covered the empty cream jar with air-dry clay and let it dry completely to create a smooth, cake-like texture.
The Details: I made the berries and candies using silicone molds and hot glue. The leaves were crafted from clay using a leaf mold.
The Color: Everything was hand-painted with acrylic paints to give it that realistic "baked" look.
The "Cream": I applied a thick layer of imitation whipped cream (Decoden cream) on the lid.
The Assembly: While the cream was still wet, I carefully placed my berries and sweets on top.
Patience is Key: Because the cream layer is so thick, it takes more than 24 hours to dry completely. But the result is worth it!
