Stars DECIDE Close Games | ASVEL - FC Barcelona | R24 BASKETBALL HIGHLIGHTS 2025-26

Heavy burden of responsibility on Watson's shoulders. He'll take a deep 2J and nail it from Saturansky. Saturansky will find a crease, stop at the top of the key, and that's not going to go. There's an offensive rebound up for grabs taken by Nenad Gomez. Play outside of France for the first time. Absolutely loved it. That went to Maligraf there. Hello, Eboua's open on the wing. Whoa. Hello, Paul Eboua. Now here's Saturansky. Hunter will attack past Jackson. They kick it back to Saturansky for a three. Hunter, still punting, still punter. Yeah, beautiful. Good job stopping that. Watson will pick up the loose change. This is an ambitious one. Sellius will pick up the offensive rebounder and bang it in and draw a foul. Shekgalia got him. Good man defense, but they do manage to get it out to Cale. And Cale rips out. Great hustle, but he won't take it with him. And that will be Shekgalia. Sellius. Watson needs to get going again after those early twos that went down. Can he get something going here? He does get him and add one. Well, twisting and weaving, Glen Watson over to Cale. Saturansky. Hunter making a move. He'll circle around and get it. Free it up for Saturansky. He's got a clean look at the point and delivers. Really patient execution. The Drew defenders again and left Saturansky wide open. Watson with the offload. Angola with a pass. Whoa, whoa. I'll tell you, for 48 hours, Angola is making himself right at home. Offensive rebound is collected by Watson. Light, he will attack. Watson's on his own. Defenders all went into the interior. Very happy to get that one back. Saturansky will bounce pass it to the Georgian. He'll just try and throw and bite and jive and will draw a foul. Coming up to two to play for the number one still Ertel. He'll kick it outside and that is Angola. Well, I tell you, this is some debut for Brian Angola, this. Being tracked by Ertel. Fezli is open. Fezli takes a really long two and strings it. Nice screen set there by Bode and Massa. Just come on, Ajansa will attack and bank again. Bank to bank. Banks from Melvin Ajansa. Still got it. Fezli with the screen. Fezli will collect that one handed feed. Parra and Parra will find nothing but nylon. Big job. Parra in his second spell with the club, of course. Massa trying to set a screen here. Watson doesn't need it. Watson trades another one. Glyn Watson sits back. Norris wide open. Look, it's a four point play as well. He's not able to take that. Jackson almost had it pinched by Hunter. Tough take. Makes it beautifully under pressure. He's brought a double team. It's opened up here for Norris. Norris will attack in and will draw another foul. That's clever again. It's Ajansa. Sellius picks him up. Still Sellius staying with him as well. A tough assignment that as Hunter floats it beautifully. Nice movement there from Watson. Tracked all the way by Sadoransky. Now Shangalia's on him. They know what he can do and they know where he can do it from. Just blasts his way through a double team. Drain the shot clock here. Marcelo and Hunter. Norris is in the corner. Hunter doesn't go there. He takes a floater himself. And a quick strike opportunity is on here. Watson with the feed and a slam from Massa. Well, a strong finish to the half then from Asvel. Still the right call. He was annoyed with himself and it was so soft. Oh, they left Vesely alone. Can't do that. Reward high risk shot from him that he was forced to take. Hung up there for Parra from Shangalia. Parra's done really well. Fights through a double team. Gets it back to Hunter for a wing three. Beautiful for this third quarter. This is much more like it defensively from Barcelona. Still Sadoransky kicks it out to Hunter, who's got a wide open look and nails it. Norris going to Sadoransky. Hunter again. Constant movement. Takes a jumper. Nothing but string. Hertel trying to blast his way past William N. Gomez and does. Trying to get away from Angola here. Sadoransky back to Hunter, who gets another look. Got away again and strings another one. Oh, he'll set up the fast break. William N. Gomez has done really well there just to slow it down. That's a nice feed. Strings it off the Angola assist. Another beautiful pass for Brian Sadoransky. Back to Norris. Norris rims out and N. Gomez collects. Sadoransky takes it on from the wing and it goes. Six points the lead again. It's down to the final minute of this third quarter. Vautier, where does he go? Well, he's almost popped that up. Sadly, Sadoransky is not happy about something there. Vizuela may have another look here. Has to. Takes the step back. Drains it brilliantly of another big offensive rebound. Hertel. Takes a jumper at the elbow. Drains it. Back it comes to Odjaya. This is lovely passing. That was a bit let down at the end and then it was awful. Oh, dear. Oh, dear. Oh, dear. A freebie. Just try and slow this attack down. And Gola finds Vautier. Vautier finds the rim. Gola will repay the favor. Hertel for three. Not happening. Oh, what a putback. Wow. Wow. Mbai Odjaya is on the floor again. La Provitola. Hunter. Here he is. Shangalia for three. Gone. Never in doubt. The moment he's walked back onto the floor. The steel starting to fall now. They have seven. Barcelona sent back. Punter on his own. Three. Gone. Easy as that. A fourth triple. 10 of 13 from the field tonight. Kevin Punter. Struggling for penetration as this zone defense here goes to work. And again, nothing on. He has to take it himself. And Glyn Watson conjures up a little bit of. Shangalia again. Oh, too easy. Too easy. And Gola trying to take it himself. No, they'll send it back to Ajansaar. Ajansaar with the floater. Nice. It moves up to nine points. Well, with Kael Vesely and Sadoransky looking to just see this one out here. As I say, some tough games to come. Deep two comes in and it will drop. And it's one of those nights for Kevin Punter. Here goes Kael again. Oh, that's a steal again. Telegraphed. Hotel for three. It goes. Oh, it was really sloppy play at the other end. They need miracles. Watson will try and take this on. It's a tough take. It won't go. And that will do it. Gutsy effort from Asvelt. But Barcelona not at their best tonight, but still finding enough to come out with the W here. Whilst it certainly wasn't easy, they certainly deserved it as well. This one has finished LDLC Asvelt via man 91. FC Barcelona, 98.
