Hi AD! Welcome to Lucky Chap Entertainment. I'm Margot.
I'm Sophia. Come on in.
This is our new office space. So we moved into our new office about two months ago.
Before that we were on the Warner Brothers lot and we kind of outgrew our office space there.
When we saw this space, it was a lot more closed in and dark so we kind of reconfigured the office spaces so that it's a little more open.
Made the windows bigger so we get more natural light in.
Painted the roofs white and stuff so it just felt a little more airy.
So everyone has a bit of their own personality in their own offices and then the main space is kind of like beachy, fresh.
Kind of like a home away from home essentially.
This is our kitchen.
Yes.
And this is Charlotte.
This is probably our favourite place of the entire office.
We thought why not kind of really make the kitchen space nice and we can do our meetings here and people can be making coffee at the same time.
We actually have proper appliances.
Yeah, oven, stove top, dishwasher, all that.
Exactly, we've used a lot of it.
We've baked everything from like banana bread and hot cross buns to carrot cakes.
I have not done the baking.
It's not my style.
The fridge is quite a conversation starter.
People always pop in and for some reason want to check out the fridge more than anything.
I'm sure what's inside it probably lures them in as well.
Yeah, a bit of rosé in the afternoon, never hurt anybody.
Wine, drinks.
The coffee machine is elaborate but surprisingly easy to use and probably the most important thing in this office aside from employees.
Obviously it is a brand new office but we wanted it to feel sort of lived in and really sort of rustic and cool.
So we chose these like really fun tiles that have sort of like faux cracks in them and it matches so well with the blue.
It feels very much like us and our aesthetic.
Yeah, yeah.
Probably our favourite room in the whole office is the bathroom.
Yes.
A bougie bathroom.
Yes, please come in.
We've got pink subway tiles.
We have a gorgeous shower because people end up working out before work.
There's generally Aesop and Byredo everywhere in this office.
Yeah, it's sort of practical but also really feminine and fun.
This is my office which I am very, very fond of.
It's just got a really cosy, lovely reading nook.
I just love this feature wall with a lot of different artwork.
It keeps me very zen and calm in the workspace.
This is Zoe's boyfriend, her mum and dad, her sister Bella.
Yes.
A whole fam together.
Exactly, yes.
Just some personal touches for the office.
I think it's always important.
And they're my second family so I like seeing them.
Exactly.
This is our kind of take on a fun bookshelf.
You know, kind of colour coded but lots of plants and something fun for people to see.
A lot of the books here are books that we've optioned and, you know, you might see them on TV or going to be at a new thing.
Standing desk, beautiful plant, reading nook.
It's really fun because I feel like everyone's office has a nice touch of their own personality.
You know what, and you can see the first kitchen bench we started off is in this picture.
And you can see my office.
It's kind of like a similar vibe in everyone's room so it feels like there's some flow.
But I wanted it to feel a little beachy so we kind of did this slatted wood, I don't know the actual term for it.
Feature wall would you say?
Feature wall?
Well the wallpaper is just kind of a feature wall to kind of give it like a cottagey, beachy vibe.
Obviously Margot is dipping in and out so frequently with her movies and stuff that she's doing.
It's really nice for us to sort of use this area for meetings that we want a little bit more private and it just sort of feels really cosy.
We're actually still not totally done designing it so come back again and I'll show you the finished product.
This lovely office leads out to this awesome courtyard which is also half the reason we decided to choose this office space.
This is kind of like the Dan Lins vibe for the whole area.
It's ranchy feel so there's a lot of western sort of themed things I would say.
A windmill.
It's so nice because there's like Jenga here and like we sit out here and eat our lunch.
We just want to take advantage of the LA weather so to be sitting out here doing meetings, I mean you really can't complain.
We're coming back through the kitchen.
We've gone full circle.
Which brings us back to our sort of waiting area.
We have some film magazines here.
Our Lucky Chat sign.
That's seen with us from the start.
Our first movie had a lot of like neon elements.
The first movie we made as a company so we kind of based our logo off that and have the neon sign made.
So that's kind of all the good stuff.
Thanks for coming by.
Thank you so much for coming by.
We'll see you next time.
Bye.
