A true honor to interview @nfl @patriots Cheerleader and Captain Haley Schmich @haleyschmich for the @alanalford_ Sports Talk Show! Fun fact: Haley and I are both from New York—she’s from Long Island and I’m from Brooklyn. Small world!

Coming from NY, Haley has truly persevered in the ultra-competitive world of professional dancing. In competitive dance and auditions, it’s common to hear dozens of “no’s” (sometimes up to 50) before getting that big “yes.” Being from NY and part of sports media, I can absolutely relate!

Lo and behold, Haley indeed got her YES! On top of that, her team, the New England Patriots, are just one win away from lifting the Lombardi Trophy. If they win, Haley might even add a Super Bowl LX ring to her list of accolades! (Although that’s up to the team owner’s discretion).

Personally, I believe winning the Super Bowl takes dedication from every single person—cheerleaders, staff, personnel, trainers—so everyone should enjoy a Super Bowl ring!

I’m hopeful Haley will indeed capture a Super Bowl ring, but regardless, she’s already an incredible success story. Beyond her dancing career, Haley holds a Master’s in Public Relations from @hofstrau

In the future, the Alan Alford Sports Talk Show will feature more cheerleaders, staff, and others in the sports world. And if you’re faced with a bunch of “no’s,” just think of Haley—she’d keep pushing until she got a YES, and maybe even a Super Bowl LX ring!
