Everyone LOVED Her Voice – Except for One Judge! Can She Prove Him Wrong?

I am wonderful. And what's your name? My name is Tori Vagasi. I'm from Fort Lauderdale, Florida And how are you? I am 20 years old. I recently turned 20. Do you have a day job? I work as a party princess for kids parties. I love it. I love kids And are you a singer? Yes, I've been loving singing my whole life. I fell in love with musical theater And yeah now here we are. So what's the dream? My dream is to be on Broadway. Great. Okay, well Troy, good luck. Thank you so much. I'm not a musical theater fan. Cuz you've been keeping me awake Are you here to distract me so I make a big mistake? Or are you someone out there was a little bit like me? Who knows deep down? I'm not where I'm meant to be Every day's a little harder as I feel my power grow and don't you know, there's a part of me Deserve to be on Broadway you are And here too for everyone to hear your beautiful voice, I mean it is incredible People are trying to get record contracts right now It's like I've never known anything like you're gonna cut through the noise and I think the most important thing is Knowing where you want to end up. It was a brilliantly chosen song and I can see huge potential There's no mistaking that you have a powerful voice and I think that you have the energy you have the stage presence you check every box But honestly, I don't enjoy that kind of music. So for me And say to the Howie's of this world, we're not gonna take this anymore Howie We're not gonna listen to people like you anymore Do you wanna do you wanna a candy fish? Is there anything you want to say to anybody out there? Don't give up even when the Howie's of this world. Tell you know, I Feel like how he's a little bit like the villain mean in my face. I would say always conquers evil But the princess always wins in the end You got a good heart, but I know it changes Restless tight untamed You came my way and I knew a storm could come to you lift me Let me But I took your hand from the side with Stan and he blazed you blew my way Stone Listen I'm gonna kind of repeat what I said in the sense that I think you're an amazing singer and I think you deserve to Be on Broadway, and I think we will see you on Brad Broadway. I would love America to prove me wrong I just think in this lane as a solar singer on season 16 Think of Jimmy think of Sophia's golden buzzer, and I don't think that you have a chance against that but it's up to America Look we Tori, you know who you are and where you want to be. Thank you. So it was It started off as a good performance and then it ended up was a great performance a Flawless performance. I mean you have a crystal-clear beautiful voice and you are like a princess Sophia there's nothing bad to say about you how you sing what you do It felt so real exactly why they said because of what we just saw I was you don't worry If you don't win this competition because anyways Broadway is waiting for you. Thank you Is there anything you want to say to Howie and the rest of America Don't let the Howie's of this world get you down And it sees me It's enough for this restless warrior It is This It's enough for this This Tori Vegas see Simon Tori Tori. Well, you've made it to the semifinal I love the fact that you said in your VT who you recognize as your competition I think he was very difficult for you just now following Aiden Who in my opinion did something truly truly spectacular? Whereas you did something good But I think was too safe for the semi And you know using Jimmy as an example he does things we're not used to doing, you know new Interpretations of songs so I prefer people who just take a little bit more of a risk do something We haven't heard before Having said that you're a very very very good singer. And like I said, you made it to the semi-finals. Who knows? Thank you, Howie I'm not being grumpy. You're not being grumpy. No, I Simon I I tend to agree with you, but I've agreed with that that has been my comment throughout you are an amazing singer You have an amazing voice that being said I think this show needs more You know, I think you're great talent on the wrong show You know, I'm just saying that our show is about variety. This didn't show me variety. I like the lasers. I like the pyro I like the singing it doesn't hold me. It's not me. It's not you. It's not you. It's me I don't break up with a lot of people and I'm not breaking up. Thank you. How is that hard to do? Okay. All right, we'll find all we love Honestly any Broadway stage would be lucky to have you We're lucky to have you right here and you know, if you ask me this was another flawless performance for me Sophia you definitely belong on Broadway, and I think you did step it up tonight. I thought it was Favorite song I think you are perfection. Thank you Now Tori, what do you think about what Simon said that you may have been too safe? Are you ready to respond to that? You know, I think I did a great job tonight and I'm really proud of myself so but I appreciate it I do too. Good luck tonight Tori
