Tai nạn máy móc hạng nặng và những sai sót trong công nghiệp được ghi lại bằng camera
Each capsule greets our valued viewers of TCT
Good evening from an Indian gunpowder factory that exploded into the sky
and drivers in Massachusetts suffocating under fire-suppressing CO2 gas
just as a white wall in Turkey could no longer withstand the pressure
And the Chinese workers learned a lesson about why you shouldn't mix water with molten aluminum
Here are recorded incidents of heavy machinery accidents and industrial disasters captured on camera
collected by us from around the world Please join us in following along
Ladies and gentlemen nature always has a rather ironic way of correcting human mistakes
And Turkish real estate developers learned that lesson the hardest way possible
when they tried to build a new hotel on ground that was already unstable
On July 24 2018 a diving team was working in Istanbul
Digging beneath a white wall he had built he suddenly felt a large chunk of earth slide down
In an instant the entire area was forever buried beneath the tomb of the earth cage itself
The collapse is not the end another disaster has only just begun
The house remained precariously suspended over the edge of the collapsed pit for many hours straight
Meanwhile police urgently evacuated all residents inside
Then the inevitable happened—community members stepped up and did their part
According to reports a heavy rainstorm that lasted through the previous night had
washed away much of the foundation soil severely weakening the area behind the white wall
Even a minor disturbance is enough to trigger a complete collapse of the entire chain of events
Strangely enough such incidents are far from uncommon in Istanbul and many other cities across Turkey
When profit takes precedence over safety the price paid sometimes turns out to be the lives of innocent people
Ladies and gentlemen most workplaces have strict rules regarding the use of mobile phones
For many companies the reason is to prevent screen theft—no one wants employees watching YouTube during work hours
But sometimes those rules are simply there to keep you safe
On April 27 2025 at a construction site in Nanjing China
A worker stands outside the high-rise construction site completely absorbed in texting
Then to his colleagues' astonishment they heard a loud splash of water rising from the 23rd floor
They hurriedly pulled the startled camel from the dangerous area while the
other colleague remained bent over still absorbed in typing on his phone
In the slow-motion video clip a metal cable can be seen stretching horizontally across the concrete slabs
When the nearly 80-meter-long yellow crane began to collapse
The worker heard an unusual sound and barely managed to duck and dodge in time
In an instant just before the crane arm slammed down onto the concrete floor
Images from the adjacent building show the
crane arm bent nearly 90 degrees after the devastating collapse
Fortunately the worker was rescued without injury
However he learned a lesson that could have saved his life
Using a phone at work can be a deadly distraction
Special Blast Limited is an explosive manufacturing plant located on the
outskirts of the village of Pira in the inland state of Jatisgarh India
This company specializes in manufacturing blasting equipment for mining operations and industrial construction projects
In other words they are highly skilled at creating controlled explosions
But by May 25 2024
They themselves had to witness the true destructive power of their own creations
As the workers were preparing for the morning shift
there was no warning sign whatsoever
A massive explosion suddenly erupted within the factory grounds
The force of the explosion was strong enough to shake the security camera system
The explosion echoed for miles around the surrounding area
Local residents rushed out of their homes in panic
and witnessed a massive fist-shaped column of smoke rising high into the sky
They understood perfectly well what had just happened
And the greatest fear at that moment was the fate of the workers trapped inside the factory
As the dust and smoke gradually cleared those present at the scene
Just seeing the remnants left behind of the explosives factory that once stood here
Rescue teams were deployed immediately after the area was confirmed safe
However the tragedy had already occurred
Ten people died at the scene and seven others were injured with varying degrees of severity
The explosion itself left a crater about 12 meters
deep—a massive scar etched permanently into the earth
Quincy in Massachusetts is a coastal city in Norfolk
County located about 16 kilometers south of Boston
Here around 100 000 residents accustomed to bitterly cold winters call home
and the characteristic warm summer of the American Midwest
On July 2 2020 a strange incident occurred
At a Stop & Shop gas station the sudden snowfall left many local
residents convinced they were witnessing a summer snowstorm
But that white substance isn't frozen hot water—it's carbon dioxide gas
At that moment traffic outside the gas station was still flowing normally
When the station's automatic fire suppression system unexpectedly activated without any warning
Within seconds the entire area was engulfed by a dense cloud of carbon dioxide
After about a minute the cloud of carbon dioxide began to rise gradually
leaving the scene looking as though a thin layer of snow had settled over the ground
A Stop & Shop representative later said the fire suppression system had been accidentally triggered
due to a faulty temperature sensor
Ladies and gentlemen mixing ammonia and water creates
a highly dangerous combination potentially fatal
But you don't need to throw away the aluminum foil in your kitchen just yet
Here we're talking about industrial-scale melting
something most people will never have to come into contact with
And if you truly have it in your hands hopefully you fully understand the risks involved
That is also why workers at an aluminum plant in Hunan Province China
It reached a state of utter chaos as floodwaters
surged over the plant's walls on July 20 2021
Imagine waking up at 6 a m and looking out the window to see this wall
That multimillion-dollar building is a aluminum alloy
manufacturing plant owned by the Eastern Power Group
By around 4 a m the river's water level nearby had risen to a dangerous point
In a short time the rushing water washed away part of the riverbank exposing sections of the wall
and swiftly submerged the entire factory
Immediately the company cut off all power and initiated emergency evacuation procedures
They knew they were racing against time as the molten metal
surged straight toward the aluminum reservoir at extreme heat
Even a single drop of water touching that molten solution would be
enough to erase the entire building from the surface of the earth
Fortunately all the workers had managed to evacuate safely
and no one was injured in the explosion that followed
Ladies and gentlemen the risk of molten metal and
dangerous spills is present at most metallurgical plants
Workers are prohibited from bringing water bottles or soft drinks into the casting area
Even a minor mistake could be your last chance to get it right
And that concludes our video with the recent accident
Thank you for watching and we look forward to seeing you in our next video
