CANADIAN IMMIGRATION NEWS - Express Entry Draw 192 - 368 Points

Hello everyone, this is Rossane from Mavois Canadian Immigration Made Easy and in this video we're going to talk about the last express entry rounds of invitation number 192 that happened on June 10th 2021. So here it concerns specifically the Canadian experience class and 6 000 applicants were invited. The great news is that the CRS lowest ranked candidate had a score of 368 points and it confirms what we said about the trend which is that IRCC is going to continue to invite applicants within Canada as long as the borders remain closed. So if we take a look at the previous rounds of invitation just from the beginning of the year we can see that only people that are within Canada got invited to apply. So you can see provincial nominee programs and Canadian experience class are the majority and because the borders are closed they're trying to maximize the permanent immigration of people under a temporary status. We saw it here with the weeks and the score keeps decreasing while the number of invitation keeps increasing. For example on February 13th we had over 27 000 applicants from the Canadian experience class that got invited with the score dropping as low as 75 points. It happened once already it means that it could keep happening and you can see that the trend here just continues to go down 417, 400, 395, 380 and now 368. So what it means for you if you're a candidate under the express entry and you are in Canada whether you have a low score and you qualify under the Canadian experience class or you qualify under a new stream one of those six streams that were designed to encourage the permanent immigration of temporary workers check that out make sure that you qualify for it if you're a student or if you're an essential worker you could also qualify. Check the link in the description for specific explanations on those programs and make sure you increase your odds of immigrating to Canada permanently. Now if you are outside of Canada it means that you need to get your profile ready because even though they call all the candidates of the Canadian experience class and the provincial nominee programs in the pool they're still far from 401 000 immigrants for 2021 meaning that regardless of what happens for the rest of the year if they want to meet their immigration target they will need to open the border eventually and invite people from the federal skilled worker program. So if you're in the pool under the federal skilled worker program don't lose hope get your exam ready prepare everything you can so when the program opens you'll be the first in line to submit your application.
