Hey y'all, this is Troy Black. So I've got a word from the Lord to share with you today.
God showed me what President Donald Trump is about to start doing, and he showed me some of
the ramifications or effects of this. He also gave me a word about this for the body of Christ,
for his people, how we should react. And then also he gave me a word about what's happening,
not just in the church when it comes to politics and government events today, but also what's
in the church when it comes to some of the exposures that are taking place, whether they
be good or bad, and where we should land. And so God gave me a few scriptures to read, but he also
gave me a lengthy word of knowledge about Trump, and he gave me, he's given me a prophetic word
about this season as well. And so I'm going to jump into this. A couple things I want to mention
is we just had our first live event this last weekend, and I believe it was a success. I'm so
thankful for those that were able to come. And I just want to say thank you to anyone who has
either supported this ministry or supported that event or supported us by coming, not just
financially in ways like that, but also through your prayers, through your comments. And I think
I don't, one of my weaknesses the Lord has been showing me is when it comes to community,
the Lord has shown me I have a lot of room to grow, and I'm not very good at fostering community,
I would say. Maybe you would disagree with me on that, but that's an area that I'm submitting to
the Lord and allowing him to work on me about because I've seen other people in this same
space that I believe are a lot better at that. I would say maybe someone like Amanda Grace.
I've seen people that have this innate ability to build a community, but also to build the body up
from a communal standpoint. And so my hope, my prayer is that I can get better at that. But I
do want to say thank you so much to those that have stood with us. I've shared some very difficult
words, not just this year, a few already this year, over last year too. I've shared some very,
very difficult things that don't make everybody happy. And I continue to resubmit those things
to the Lord and say, Lord, if there's anything I need to correct, you help me, you correct me.
I'll just give you an example. One of those things being some of the warnings about Candace Owens
that I shared last year. Y'all are probably tired of hearing me talk about it, but we saw a big dip
in subscribers and even people unsubscribing from this channel and saying, I'll never listen to you
that kind of stuff. And I don't wish them harm at all. I wish them well and say, okay, God bless,
that's your decision to make and that's okay. But at the same time, now we're seeing some of
the fruit of that, I believe. Candace is now talking about the third eye and being attached
to the occult and stuff like that. And it's like, to be honest, I think we're starting to see some
of the fruit play out from some of those words. And it's not a, I got you or I told you so or
whatever, but it's a thank you to those who are actually praying into these words, even when they
sound weird or they sound like, okay, aren't you being too judgmental or something? Sometimes it
can feel that way. And that's not my heart. My heart is not to be the judge, but to rather be
a messenger. And I know I don't deliver the message, the mail perfectly. I'm not perfect at
that. But my heart is to stay humble before the Lord. And my prayer is that God would use me
to help build you up the same way that you have been building me up. And so I just want to say
thank you for that, for those that have been doing that. It means a lot to me and my family.
And I feel the Joshuas lifting up the arms and other days, I'm the Joshua lifting up
other people's arms. And so it's like we do that for each other and I feel that, so thank you.
And I just sense the presence of the Holy Spirit on that too. It's the unity of the body
and of the saints, those who love Jesus and who want to see more people come into his kingdom,
standing together and saying, despite some of our differences and despite some of the
small things that we believe that are different, we believe this is the most important thing.
We want to see people saved and hearts changed and people delivered and set free through the
gospel and through the power and presence of the Holy Spirit in their lives. So I do want to start
right there and then I'm going to quickly share this and then I'm going to share this word. If
you clicked on this video and you do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ,
today's the day. You can know him personally. This is for anyone that you know in your heart,
you don't truly know the Lord. Maybe you prayed a prayer at one point or maybe you got baptized,
but you've never begun a real relationship with him. My friend, that relationship starts by
believing that you have sinned and you've fallen short of the glory of God by accepting that truth,
but then also by saying, I'm not going to stop there, but I'm going to go all the way in and
I'm going to believe that Jesus, the Son of God, came to the earth and he died a sinner's death
upon a cross so that he took all the punishment for my sin upon himself so that I could be
completely forgiven. So yes, I'm a sinner in need of grace before I come to the cross,
before I accept Jesus, but once I put my hope and my faith and my trust in him,
once I believe that he died for me, now I'm forgiven. Now I'm not a sinner anymore. Now I'm
a son, I'm a daughter of God, of the King, and I have a relationship with him and he changes me
with his grace, with his love, and with his patience. And that's good news because now we
start from a place of victory and triumph in Christ, not a place of fear. First John 4 says,
perfect love casts out fear, for fear involves punishment. The perfect love of God was shown
to us when Jesus died for us on the cross. He died for you so that you could know God,
so that you could be forgiven, so you could start fresh and not have any sin hanging over
your shoulders or any sin hanging on your back. There's no more weight anymore. God wants to lift
that off of you today. He says, no more condemnation, no more shame, no more struggle
with the power of sin and darkness. Now you get to be free in the light of Jesus Christ. Now you
get to be free. And I hear the Lord saying, because of what my son's done for you. Jesus came to be
the savior of the world, not just the savior of the Jews and not just the savior of the Gentiles,
not just the savior of the church. He came to be the savior of the world for all those who
believe in his name and receive him. That's for you today if you need that. So I want to pray a
quick prayer and then I'm going to move on to this word of knowledge about Trump and what's
happening. But I'm going to pray this. I want you to pray with me. I want to read this real fast,
pull this up. And this is Ephesians 2.5. It says, even when we were dead in our wrongdoings,
he's talking about God, God made us alive together with Christ. By grace you have been saved. So you
might think, well, I'm not good enough, or I haven't earned that, or I can't come back to God
yet. No, my friend, God made a way for you to come straight back in to his family because of his
grace. Grace is favor you don't deserve and you can't earn. He's given it to you as a gift. And
it says, and raised us up with him. So he's honored you with Christ when you didn't deserve it.
That's how good he is. That's how much he loves you. And seated us with him in the heavenly places
in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come, he might show us the boundless riches of his grace
and kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. This is what God wants to do for you today. Look at that
verse. This is a promise from the father for you. He wants to show you the boundless riches of his
grace and kindness toward you in Christ Jesus. You say, well, I don't deserve that. No, but Jesus
gifted you his righteousness. He gifted you what he deserved when he died for you on the cross.
And that is the boundless riches of God's grace and kindness for you. It's his favor. It's his
love. He wants to pour that out into your heart today. The Holy Spirit's right here and he is
welcoming people in to the door, to the family of God. And Jesus is the door. Jesus said he's
the door. You got to go through him. You got to come. You can only come to the father through
Jesus. Come to Jesus right now if you need this. Say, father, I've sinned. I have fallen short of
the glory of God, but I'm coming home. Jesus, I choose to believe in your name today. I put my
full faith in what you have done for me on the cross. You died. You paid the price for my sin.
And now I'm forgiven and I'm free. Say, I have new life in you, Jesus. When you rose from that grave,
I also rose and I made new in you. May this be the start of a new life,
walking with you hand in hand every day. Holy Spirit, come into my life. Come into my heart.
Make me new. Say, Jesus, I'm with you now. I'm yours. Come in, change me. Thank you, Holy Spirit.
Father, I ask for the filling of the Holy Spirit for all those who are praying and all those
listening who want it, who desire that, Lord. I ask for a fresh filling, just the fresh wind of the
Holy Spirit, the baptism of fire in Jesus' name because of the cross, because of your love,
because of your grace. That's why we get to receive today. Lord, I ask for even mightier
miracles, mightier works than people have seen before. Thank you that we get to access all you
have for us, all your plans for us that are good, plans to prosper us, not to harm us, to give us a
hope in the future, all those plans based on the new covenant and the favor we have in Christ Jesus.
It's not a striving. It's not an effort. It's a resting in the finished work of Christ,
and it's a belief in what you've done, what you've said. And I just hear the Lord saying,
I'm breaking off strongholds off of people right now. The Lord's saying new levels of freedom
that my people get to walk in. For those who have been walking with me for a long time but are
praying through issues right now, I hear the Lord saying, I'm hearing your prayers and I'm moving.
I'll never stop moving. But the Lord's saying, but I want you to surrender that to me,
the thing that's felt like a heavy weight and like a burden, and lay it down. Let me do with it
what you're incapable of doing on your own, but fully surrender. You're going to see a radical
change, a radical difference. Let my grace take over. Let my grace be a triumph in your life today.
Let it be the triumph over sin, over death, over captivity. I hear the Lord say, my grace is
unmerited favor. Start saying every day, I've been given the grace of God. I get to fully
receive of it today. I choose to, based on what Jesus has done. See, when you're walking around
knowing I'm receiving the grace of God because of what Jesus did, you see yourself as favored
in God's eyes. You're like, I'm favored. No, I don't deserve it. It's like Jacob. It's like
Abraham. It's like I'm accepting it through faith. I don't deserve it. So when I make a mistake,
I don't lose it, but I just set my eyes back on Jesus and I stay there and position myself with
him. And I know I'm his friend because of what he's done for me, because of the love of the
Father. So this is good. Let me share this word that I heard about Trump, and then we'll move
on to a few other things. This is January 25th. Oh yeah, real quick, before I forget, because
it's sitting here and I was going to say this, this is Mystery of the New Babylon. This is my
new book that launched two days ago, February 4th. It's available in Kindle and print on Amazon.com.
It's also available on Faith and Flame. I'm going to try to put links to both places below. And then
anywhere else online that books are sold, you can find it. But there's already been a few ratings
come in. So if you've read this book already and you loved it, I would also ask if you're
willing to go leave a rating and a review on Amazon, that would be fantastic. And I'd really
highly appreciate that. But yeah, super excited to hear back. Y'all let me know if you get a chance
to read it. Let me know what you think too about the actual content and stuff, because I would
just love to hear back feedback and what y'all think about it. And if there's something the
Lord has done in your life because of it, that'd be awesome to find that out. So looking forward
to hearing from those that get a chance to read it. But I heard this January 25th,
the Lord said a strategic warfare, and he said emptying out the seas. And so I got this
impression like this was something that President Trump was going to be trying to do.
And it's not emptying out the seas in the sense of like, you know, literally taking everything
out of the sea or removing all ships from the sea. But there's something to this strategic
warfare. And then the Lord said the ocean, trying to get people in hiding to show themselves.
And then I heard, this is what Trump is up to next. He will situate himself in the middle of
planned warfare, though not in a war. He will situate himself in the middle of planned warfare,
though not in a war. And I don't believe the Lord's talking about him personally being there,
but making a decision to put, you know, the United States someplace that is going to describe,
be described this way. And then I heard a sticky situation, a clever moment,
sticking like glue to the plan and unsticking a nation from a sticky situation, a clever disguise,
a nation upset, then bringing the solution. So the nation upset, the impression, slight
impression I got was that that would not be the U.S. There'd be another nation that's upset.
And then, but a solution is going to come. And then I heard a strategy of warfare, examining
the enemy's plan and playing it out so that, so as to take full advantage of their tactics and turn
them around onto themselves. Then I heard this, no one saw this coming. Trump is quote, unquote,
tempting the fates, tempting the fates in some people's minds. Yet those with closed minds cannot
understand nor see what he will be doing. Then I heard a national dialogue surrounding the tale,
which is to be expected. This is me giving an aside. There's a national dialogue about everything
Trump does obviously nowadays, but the Lord said a national dialogue surrounding the tale,
a confused public. Then I heard this phrase because I said so. Then I heard, this is not
enough for one to understand like a parent whose child asks for an explanation and doesn't get one.
Then I heard this, I heard the phrase, I will reveal it in time. And then I heard, tell my
people not to worry when it starts to happen. I will show you what to do next. Keep trusting,
keep seeking me. I mean, I just hear the Holy Spirit saying, I've strategized all of this
a long time before Trump or his advisors ever had the idea. The Lord saying, this is from me.
And there's an aspect to it where the person in charge is going to say, because I said so,
he's going to make a comment like that, right? There's going to be, or his behavior,
because I said so, like that's why we're doing this. And there's not going to be a good reason,
but the Lord is reassuring us there is a good reason. And it's not because somebody in leadership
said so, but I hear the Holy Spirit saying, because I said so. So there's something to this,
it's not going to be super obvious when it's taking place, but there's a reason for it.
And it's actually a good thing. And we're going to see that play out. The Lord said,
I will reveal it in time. So in the long run, he's saying that's going to play out.
And the slight impression I'm getting now is just this idea of like uncharted waters,
in the sense of places the United States doesn't normally go, not supposed to be in the world's
and yet them going, the US sending ships or troops or warfare vessels to a place that they're not
supposed to go. And that being okay in the long run, God bringing good out of this, right? Even
when it upsets people and people are scared of what's coming next. And the Lord said, tell my
people not to worry when it starts to happen. Keep trusting, keep seeking me. He's going to show us
what to do next. Like the Lord's not worried about it. So the Lord asked me to share this
originally on Wednesday of this week, which would have been two days ago. And then on Tuesday,
he gave me a different word about Daniel chapter two, and he showed me a prophetic parallel that
is happening between Daniel chapter two. And then also what things that Trump has been doing over
the last year and what's happening within the body of Christ, the church right now. So if you didn't
watch that video, it's called the Daniel prophecy unfolding or something like that. I highly
encourage you to go watch it. It's one of the coolest things the Lord has shown me like in the
scripture to a prophetic parallel of things happening today that I've seen in a long time.
Super, super cool. I was, my mind was blown over it. So I was just, you know, just saying it might be
worth a listen, pray about that. But that was really cool. And so the Lord replaced Wednesday's
content with and said, and push this one back, right? So I'm sharing it today. Okay. And so then
I heard this the other day when I was praying about this word, though, the Lord said, Isaiah
chapter 10. And so, you know, there's a lot of things happening right now. You know, I shared a,
I responded to many of y'all have probably seen the thing about Trump sharing that video clip of
the Obama's, you know, the AI video clip that obviously would have been inappropriate if he
had shared that. I, I saw, I made a comment about it on X, basically saying, I don't support this.
You know, I don't support sharing inappropriate materials, even if it was intended to be a joke,
it's not something to joke about, you know, that kind of stuff. But I've seen other information
saying that he did not share it and that it was like an accident. And it was something that it
was like an automatic thing that scrolled up after a different video was finished or something like
that. So if that's the case, I do want to, I do want to make that statement that I'm aware of that.
And if he didn't share it, I'm grateful that he did not share it. Right. But I also believe that,
you know, as much as I dislike a lot of the things that the Obama's have done and do not
support a lot of the things that they support and stand for, you know, I do want to make the
statement as a Christian, I believe that human beings are made in the image of God and they are,
and we are all equally valuable as people. And so if y'all missed the recent video and dream,
I got, God gave me a dream about president Obama and he gave me a word about him as well.
That one will probably give more context to that as well. But this is what I heard,
Isaiah chapter 10. I'm going to read parts of this. I'm going to pull this up, but I'm just
going to read a few parts of it. So what's happening with the United States and the world
right now, right? Well, we saw something very similar happen at times in scripture, where God
would send one nation in to disrupt another nation. And then sometimes it would be to bring judgment,
right? That's happening in a way on the earth today. But I believe more so we are living in
what I would call the passive wrath of God more than the active wrath of God under the new covenant
because of the grace of God has been displayed and has gone to all of mankind at this point.
And so we could get into a theological debate about that. Sure, we don't need to today. But
one of the things that we see happening is we see the United States poking its nose in a lot of
different places on earth, specifically because we have a president named President Donald Trump
right now. And it would not be happening if it were somebody else, right? I mean, look at the
last president before him. We kind of kept to ourselves a lot. And so sometimes I think
I know that God put Trump there for a reason, absolutely. And I still firmly believe that.
Sometimes I think he's doing the will of God on the earth. There's a reason that God put him
there, and he's enacting some of the things that God planned. Other times, I think he goes a little
too far. I'll just say that, you know, because nobody's perfect. And also God's not controlling
Trump like a puppet, right? He's not controlling any leaders like a puppet, but he does put people
in places of authority, the word says, and that's controlled by God. And there's a reason for it,
even the ones you don't like, even the ones that I don't like, right? And so this is Isaiah 10,
okay? It's talking about the king of Assyria coming in and judging the people of God, okay? Judging
Israel. It says, starting in verse five,
woe to Assyria, the rod of my anger and the staff in whose hands is my indignation.
I send it against a godless nation and commission it against the people of my fury to capture
spoils and to seize plunder and to trample them down like mud in the streets, okay? So the Lord's
saying, calling Assyria his rod, right? And when a nation is acting like what the United States is
doing now, I believe there's a parallel here to today that the Lord can use a nation like the
United States in the same way, right? But here is where we can get into a problem, okay? So this is
like the pullback moment where it's, yes, but, okay? It says, verse seven, yet it does not so
intend, nor does it plan so in its heart, but rather it is its purpose to destroy and to
eliminate many nations. So God was saying there's a cutoff point, but Assyria doesn't plan on cutting
off, right? Assyria doesn't plan on pulling back, you know? And so what's God going to do? Well,
he's going to step in and he's going to correct his own rod that he was using to correct somebody
else, right? And so this is the same dilemma that we have today, is that God is able to give
the church wisdom to know, is this from God or is that a step too far? Is this holy and good
or is that wrong, right? Even when talking about leaders that God has placed where they are,
right? So look at verse 12. And this is the same thing applies to the church, and we're going to
get into that in a second, and what's happening within the church today. Look at verse 12.
So it will be that when the Lord has completed all his work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem,
he will say, I will punish the fruit of the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria and the
power of my hand and by my wisdom I did this. So here's the word of warning and encouragement,
and I believe it's an exhortation, is that the problem was not that Assyria was coming in and
being a judge in this situation. Why? Because God had sent Assyria to be a judge. The problem was,
it says, I will punish the fruit of the arrogant heart. The king of Assyria had an arrogant heart
and he had arrogant pride in his eyes. The problem was the pride that came with the role that God
had given the king of Assyria. And this is where we could be, so you may live in the United States
of America, you may not, right? But when it comes to nations like the United States of America,
we as its people, we fall into this temptation. We are tempted with this more often than I believe
some other places. And there's a lot of nations like the United States that do similar things,
right? That are also tempted in the same way. And listen, you do not have to be rich to be greedy.
You do not have to have power to be puffed up with pride. You can be poor and greedy. You can
not have any influence or power and still be prideful, right? It's not always the case that
one involves the other. But the warning here is for us who are tempted by this, whether
it's because we live in the United States or because we supported President Trump or whatever
it may be, the temptation is for us to say by the power of my hand or by the power of the hand of
the United States or by the power of my president or by the power of whatever it may be, in my
wisdom, I did this, right? And when the true perspective that Christ brings into our heart
and to our life is he humbles us and he causes us to say, Lord, not my will be done, but your will.
And I want to be a willing vessel. And I want the best to come out of this family that I'm in,
this community I'm in, this church I'm in, this nation that I'm in. Help me not to associate
pride with some of the things that are taking place. And help me not to take it a step too far
in my own heart, my own mind. Now, I can't control what the leaders of this country are doing,
right? But I can pray for them. I can't always control and I can't hold back their hand from
making bad decisions. I can't cause them to make good decisions, right? But I can pray for them.
And I can check my own heart and I can allow the Holy Spirit to examine my own heart and not
to agree when pride is leading somebody, right? Look at verse 14. It says,
and my hand reached to the riches of the peoples like a nest. And so this is the King of Assyria
still saying this. He's saying, as one gathers abandoned eggs, I gathered all the earth.
And there was not one that flapped his wings, opened his beak or chirp. And then that's what
the King of Assyria was saying, right? That he reached to the riches of the people of the earth
like a nest. But look at the response from the Lord. Is the ax to boast itself over the one who
chops with it? So the Lord's saying, you're an ax. You're a vessel in my hand. You're a tool.
And I'm chopping with you. You're not chopping yourself, right? And this is where, as the people
of God, we've got to understand, you know, that we are meant to be willing vessels and, you know,
our time is short. It's fleeting. We can read Proverbs. We can read Ecclesiastes and see that.
And Lord, with the time that I have here, am I allowing myself to be the vessel that you're
calling me to be? And am I giving you the praise and the honor and the glory for what you're doing
through my life? And also, am I chopping where you're telling me to chop? Or am I sowing where
you're telling me to sow? Or am I planting where you're telling me to plant? Or am I going where
you're telling me to go? Or am I a rogue vessel, you know? Am I over here claiming to do one thing?
Like, oh, I'm doing this for the Lord, but the Holy Spirit's telling me to do something else.
And this is not a weighty or condemning message, but rather it's when you start to understand that
you have a master. We are clay in the potter's hand, you know, and we have a master who is,
he's not pounding us, you know, with a potter's hammer. Like, he is like molding us gently,
right, on that potter's wheel. You know, he's gently moved. When you get clay onto a potter's
wheel and it's spinning, all you have to do, a tiny little touch, and then it makes a drastic
change, right? And God gently molds us, and suddenly our hearts begin to morph and change,
you know, and oftentimes he uses the lowly things, not the great and mighty things, to make that
change and to speak into our hearts, to speak into our lives. I mean, I've got five kids, and
God has taught me so much through my kids that I thought I already knew, right, until I heard them
say it, and then I understood, ah, I didn't get that, right? But you see it through the eyes of a
child, you hear it from the mouth of a child, you know, and you go, oh, yeah, they just trust God
because they know he's there, and they know they can trust it, you know, like, and I'm all, I'm
running myself around in circles trying to convince my brain that it's the smart thing to do to trust
God. Instead, it's like, well, Lord, humble me, like, help me to humble myself like a child and
just believe you, have childlike faith, and just trust you because you're good and because you're
worthy, right? And look at verse 22. Well, no, we're going to, we're going to get down, we're
going to skip down to verse 27. Yep, okay, 27. So this is God's promise, right? This is God's,
this is the encouragement. It says, so it'll be on that day that his burden will be removed from
your shoulders and his yoke from your neck, and the yoke will be broken because of fatness. So
this is for all of those who feel like, okay, I've been somebody who's, I've been walking
through a season of pruning. The Lord's been chopping stuff off of me, right? And maybe he's
corrected me about some things, right? Or maybe he's repositioned me or redirected my steps,
whatever it may be, redirected the trajectory of my life, and yet there's, and there's an
impressive weight there or there, you know, it's like, Lord, do you see me in the belly of the
whale, like Jonah, right? And the Lord's saying that burden will be removed from your shoulders,
that yoke's going to be taken off your neck, and the yoke will be broken because of fatness,
right? And, you know, a lot of times the translation says the anointing breaks the
yoke, right? And the idea there, like oil is a type of fat, right, that you cook with, right?
Or that you, it's used medicinally, there's a hard word, right? But it's talking about,
for us today, it points to the new covenant and the oil of joy that the Lord has for us,
the anointing of joy under the new covenant, and just the benefits of abiding in Christ and living
under his grace. That's what it's talking about. And so there is, there's something that stops us
from receiving that fully, though. What is that? And it's not allowing the grace of God to humble
us. And it's continuing in the pride that got us where we were in the first place, the place that
God had to deliver us from. And instead, now we ought to say, Lord, thank you. Thank you for saving
me. Thank you for your grace. Thank you for exalting me when I did not deserve to be, you
know, thank you for pulling me up when I didn't deserve it, right? And setting me on high, setting
me in heavenly places with Christ Jesus and giving me that kind of favor, right? And even giving me
a purpose, you know, and the purpose you planned for me long ago, but thank you for walking that
out. Even when I was faithless to do so, you were still faithful and you were still pulling me along
and you were still helping me and you were still picking me up, right? And it's because of your
goodness and your grace that I'm here today. And that perspective, we don't have to work, we don't
have to work to be humble in that place, but when we're receiving fully that receiving the grace of
God, it keeps us humble. And look at verse 33. It talks about this, says those who are lofty will
be brought low, right? And so when we humble ourselves, the Lord exalts us at the right time.
But here's the amazing news is people are looking for, a lot of times we look
for approval or we look for validation, right? Well, look, I have this prophetic gift, so I've
got to share here, you know, or I have this gift over here, so I've got to do, you've got to
recognize that or whatever it may be, or God has gifted me in this way, so you're going to have to
let me use that, you know, gift and maybe sometimes we're out of order when we try to do that, right?
Or we're not actually listening to the Holy Spirit. Yeah, he's gracious and like the gift
still works, that's great, but are we being led by him, right? And are we doing it in a way that's
humble? And God is able to not just take us to the next level with the things he's called us to do
or the giftings he's called us to or whatever, but he's able to help us to walk in unity with
the saints. And as iron sharpens iron, he's able to bring us around a community of people
that together, God is building us all together. We're all being built together into a dwelling
of the Spirit, not just one of us, right? Or not just me over here and I'm doing my thing,
but instead it's, Lord, how do I fit as a puzzle piece into this picture of what you've called me
to do and what you've called us as the church to do? How do we fit together as puzzle pieces,
just here living and existing to exalt you, to bring you glory? Not so that people would see us
or me, it doesn't matter, but I'm part of the bigger picture and I'm not having to fight for
that approval anymore. Why? Because I've already got it. It says I've already been seated with
Christ in heavenly places. So have you been exalted? Yes, by his grace. You've been lifted
all the way up and seated with Christ in heavenly places in the spiritual realm and that's by his
grace. And we never arrive there based on what we know or what we've done or how good we are.
We are always there because of what he's done. And so it helps us to see it through that lens
that protects our hearts, that protects those around us, protects the church,
instead of bringing strife, instead of bringing division. This is a really good
reminder. Jesus says, come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
When you're in a community that I'm not trying to exalt myself above someone else, and they're not,
no one's fighting for that space, but instead we're all looking at Jesus,
right? We're exalting him and we know we're commissioned to spread the gospel. What happens is
we become the burden bearers for each other. And what Jesus is talking about here, come to me,
all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest, oftentimes he does that through the
church around us, where someone's carrying too heavy of a load and people see that and they go,
let me help you. Let me carry some of that for you. And this is so good. This is an amazing
place to realize that. But what's more amazing is to understand, you know, it's better to give
than to receive, to understand that I'm capable of doing that for somebody else. And the Holy
Spirit's going to help me to do that at the right time. He's going to point it out and say,
just be a helping hand, reach out, help that person, help them carry their burden. That's what
love does. It carries each other's burdens. And that's what Jesus did. He came and he carried our
burdens. He says, my yoke is comfortable and my burden is light. When we're guided by the Holy
Spirit, we're guided by the love of God, and we pick up someone else's burdens, guess what?
That burden itself becomes lighter. Why? Because it's God empowering us to do it. And it's not us
carrying it now, but it's the strength of the Holy Spirit through us lifting that weight off
their shoulders. And we realize, God, you've given me something that I didn't even have to give,
but it's so clearly there and available by your grace and through your spirit. It's evidence that
you're working through me. You know, there's a gift of mercy in scripture, and oftentimes we
skip over that one, because we want to see the flashy gifts, you know? We want to see
the gift of prophecy at work, the gift of healing, the gift of miracles,
the gift of the word of knowledge, you know, but there's a gift of mercy and hospitality.
And there are things that actually are deserving of more honor, because they naturally don't
receive the honor that's due to them, but we're encouraged to lift those things up
and to be encouraged to do those things, to operate in those gifts, but also
by the leading of the spirit, but also to encourage those who are in that place.
This is the last verse I'm going to finish here. First John 5 says,
everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the
Father loves the child born of Him. By this we know that we love the children of God when we
love God and follow His commandments. So loving God and loving the children of God or the family
of God, they go in unison together, you know, hand in hand. For this is the love of God that
we keep His commandments. But look at this, keeping His commandments. It's not talking
about the law of Moses' commandments. Why? If y'all want to see that, this weekend I'm
going to release a video where I go all through many different scriptures, like almost a dozen
different scriptures that talk about how we're no longer under the law of Moses. And if the Bible
says it, I choose to believe it, right? But what are we under? We're under the law of God,
and we're under what the Word calls the law of liberty or the law of Christ. What is that?
Anything the Holy Spirit asks me to do, that's what's right to do. Anything He does not ask me
to do, that's not right to do, right? And even the New Testament gives a lot of commands apart
from the law of Moses. And you can see the principles behind those commands all through
the law of Moses and all through the scripture, right? And so there's many things that as
yes, we can. There is a list, but it's not a list like the law of Moses list, right?
The more ceremonial things I add, the better. No, it doesn't work that way. We don't get brownie
points with God by putting a heavier weight on our shoulders when He said, no, my yoke is easy
and my burden is light. But He says, for this is the love of God that we keep His commandments.
But look at this, and His commandments are not burdensome. Jesus was speaking this to people
who were used to the most burdensome commandments in the world. And what did He say? He said,
they don't even lift a finger. The Pharisees, they don't even lift a finger to help you keep
these. And in fact, you can't. That's what He says. They were used to the burden and the weight
of the law. And Jesus said, guess what? My commandments, they're not burdensome. So this
was actually in contrast to what they were used to. He's saying, they're not burdensome. He's
saying, follow me. My sheep hear my voice. I'm going to show you a better way. And then He
described the coming of the Holy Spirit and the filling of the Spirit. And now the Holy Spirit
was going to what? He's going to teach them all things. So when we walk by the Spirit,
Galatians says, we're not going to satisfy the desires of the flesh. And it says, those who
walk by the Spirit, they actually have fulfilled the law. They're actually fulfilling the law.
But it's not the law of Moses, it's the law of God. Look at this, for whoever has been born of
God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world, our faith. The
righteous will live by faith, by faith. So we get up and we say, Holy Spirit, what do you have for
me today? Holy Spirit, is there anything in me that needs cleansing? And He's changing. Holy
Spirit, you show me what's right and what's wrong in this situation. And yes, He uses the word of
God to do that because the words of God never changes. It's the same yesterday, today, and
forever. That's absolutely true. So the principles and the truths of God's word don't change,
but the way in which He delineates His law to us has changed. The way in which He relates to
His people has changed. It used to be the old covenant. It used to be the law of Moses. Now
it's the new covenant. It's the law of liberty. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there's freedom.
Why? If you're walking by the Spirit, you're naturally going to do the things that are
pleasing to God. So just walk by the Spirit. Just get born of God. Whoever has been born of God
overcomes the world and get born again and then start to walk by faith, be led by the Spirit of
God. So that's it. That's what I got. And man, that's such a good place to be because then it's
the weight lifts off our shoulders and it becomes easy. That's what Jesus said. Look at this last
thing. My yoke is comfortable. My burden is light. If you look at the original language here, it is
actually talking about something. It's truly talking about comfort, but it's also talking
about easy. If you look at the original language, it's talking about it being easy. Easy burden to
bear. Why is that? Because we're yoked to Him. We're walking with Him and He's carrying the
weight of the yoke. We just put it up. We just accept it. We just say, okay, I'm going to walk
with you and you choose where we go. As long as we're trusting Him, it's easy to take that
next step. He's got the weight. He's showing the direction. We're just saying yes. So I love y'all.
I hope this has been encouraging and I will see y'all next time.
