China Readies Nipah Virus Test Kits Despite Denial of Any Cases

China has readied testing kits nationwide for the deadly Nipah virus—despite claiming there have been no confirmed cases so far. The Chinese regime has a history of underreporting virus cases, making it difficult to know the true extent of infections in China.
An outbreak of the Nipah virus in India has put Asia on high alert. Although rare, the virus kills more than half of those it infects. According to the World Health Organization, the virus has the potential to trigger a pandemic, and there’s currently no cure or vaccine.
However, just one day after infections of the deadly virus were reported in India, the Wuhan Institute of Virology announced that it had identified a potential drug that could treat Nipah.
