Ranking the Top 10 C in MLB entering 2026! (Who is the best catcher in baseball right now_)

Here's the one two now to Langeleers in the air towards right center field going back and Shea Langeleers with a lead off homerun one to nothing A's and I say he looks pretty good at the top of the order banging it early and that's why I love to see Shea Langeleers come up and be aggressive early in the count says look I'm in the leadoff spot let's get this thing lead off ready to Shea here's the payoff pitch and the left field this one is going to stay fair and gone Shea Langeleers with a multi homer day number 21 on the season and he gives the A's 10 runs in a nine run lead battery mate helping him out a bunch tonight this one in the air from Shea to center field going back is Jacob Young adding a three homer game for Shea Langeleers and we're not even in Texas that's where those typically What an incredible display at the top of the lineup for Shea Langeleers that is three times tonight man oh man Von Herrera you made some news yesterday as this ball is crushed but as he know how to is everything it's win to pull the trigger on the interpreter access up with a huge homerun he has been special he's made some really good adjustments at the plate but also that press against left handers right so to get it three to high fly ball deep left Ramos going back that ball is going to creep over the wall a three run homer Herrera does it again his eighth home run in September one swing of the bat makes it a very interesting game it's now eight to six his cardinal offense has been relentless late this dude has been relentless late fastball ninety four four seam center cut just a sweet swing yet again from Herrera this ball to straightaway center field off the bat is Sean Murphy hit a grand slam yesterday and now the match here on a Sunday. Toledo four hundred and fifty one feet you keep the hot stick in the lineup after what we saw yesterday and that is exactly why and Murphy hammers went deep to left that ball is way out of here Sean Murphy a two run homer in Atlanta puts up a crooked number here in the top of the first an absolute no doubter four hundred and thirty seven feet away hanging slider like we said excellent decision to have Sean Murphy and Drake Baldwin in the lineup at the same time why because you get this kind of amazing power here from Sean Murphy and Murphy strokes went deep to center straight away and it's another Murphy mash take flight Sean Murphy his second bomb of the night not all home runs are created equal and I think here for Sean Murphy a 13 pitch at bat that ends in a home run has got to be extra satisfying dead center four hundred and forty feet and the second time this season that we have seen Sean Murphy go deep twice in a game that balls drill high in the Astros a three to lead in the night bartenders up late to finish things off that was a big swing gunners had a good game behind home play working with Jason Alexander talked about how well he's swinging the bat north of the border but he unloaded on this fastball Hoffman tried to beat him on the inner third and he went turn in her guys one deep to left field does he have enough there and enter Diaz catcher ties a franchise record and his 20th on the season has knocked in both runs today and the Astros lead a two to one Gabby to left field it's on its way and it's gone well the bullpen has been in tatters the injuries have been piling up but they have answered back with offense and defense tonight what big loopy breaking ball that stayed up at the top of the zone and Gabby just blasted it out of here to left field that's an answer back right there that scored in four consecutive innings they now lead it seven to two Moreno's fifth of the year a three run homer Marvin Carroll at second Pavin Smith's at first Moreno popped out at his first time up just off the injured list today Gabby hits a fly ball the left welcome back and it's four to two well that didn't take long no that's one thing Littell does we mentioned that he's always around the plate he gets up a lot of home runs that's his 28th and Gabby's first home run since June 10th and here's Alejandro Kirk lifting a fly ball to right he's hit it pretty well that hits what a start for the Blue Jays here tonight number 11 on the season for Kirk and they're out to an early four to nothing lead something tells me the Blue Jays were prepared for Joe Ryan's fastball George Springer set the tone first batter of the Blue Jays first inning at first pitch breaking ball the left center field Pajes going back he's at the track he's at the road and Kirk has changed game three with a three run shot good high ball hitter sitting on a pitch up he gets a high curveball almost as if he was sitting on it this inning was crucial for the Toronto Blue Jays offense and they came through in a big way had not scored since the third inning of game two it's a home run from Kirk his fifth of the postseason Drake Baldwin his first at bat as a cleanup hitter he's got two in scoring position he jumps on the first pitch deep to right center that ball is sailing breaks out for nothing he's gonna get a first pitch cutter that just spins doesn't do much of anything right in the middle of the plate and it is so fascinating to watch that in slow motion almost looking like Drake Baldwin had his eyes closed as he was making contact with that bomb close your eyes and swing hard Drake Baldwin deep to center field and the ballpark is not gonna hold it solo shot for the Braves catcher it's two to one in the night good to see here for Drake Baldwin as his amazing rookie year continues and getting a hold of a cutter in a big spot the Braves down to their final at-bat three four and five for the Dodgers coming up in a 2-1 game rounded out his first time you can take your table set and put it with a home runs land a lot of these guys in this Dodger lineup are in scoring position when they're in the batter's box they need that lately a big fly that's the seventh that they've hit the last three games Smith who went deep his last time this 13th he leads the league in averaging on base his slugging is now into the top ten in the league Smith is his second of the game but it's four to one his power is much bigger than his celebrations breaking ball Smith it's a high fly ball to deep left field it's got a chance in game seven and in the 11th inning of game seven the Dodgers lead for the first time what we just got done saying that somebody's gonna be remembered it could be Will Smith second home run of the postseason he won game two with a home run against Kevin Gaussman and if the Dodgers can get three more outs of one game seven Contreras 0 for two of the walk against Pagan fly ball deep left center field it is and he pulls this one deep to left center way back the Brewers strike first in game five listen any game scoring first is important but in the bullpen game it's even more important because it allows the manager with the lead to put the pieces in place from the bullpen saw a lot of fastballs a lot in the same place up and out over the plate the terrorists pitch this to one prior did not miss this one pitch to Cal fly ball judge Maris 40,000 Channing MVP fly ball has hit he might have just won it with that one swing he said early in this game if he gets to 6-0 that illustrious 60 very few have reached that milestone and punches ticket to that MVP baseball has never seen a catcher before like Cal Raleigh he is one of one this has been one of the greatest nights in this ballpark's history in ten years there's going to be a hundred thousand people saying they were here tonight absolutely three out of the way punch of the ticket for winning the West and Cal Raleigh 60 home runs Farland fires Cal hits a high fly ball deep right field it is gone Raleigh joins Rodriguez delivering in Game 7 the two biggest stars for the Mariners showing up when it matters most Seattle knows it the rest of the country is about to find out on the year he had and the amount of innings he's catching and just the man it's it's not that easy it's not that easy
