The FBI and Las Vegas Metro Police are investigating a possible illegal biological lab after raiding two homes in East Las Vegas. Authorities say the operation may be linked to the illegal bio lab that they uncovered in Reedley, California back in 2023. We're at the Sugar Springs Drive home. Our teams went inside and found evidence of possible biological material, including refrigerators with vials containing unknown liquids. Our laboratory division in Quantico offers a range of specialized services routinely used to advance complex cases, including our evidence response team, scientific response analysis unit and the technical hazards response unit. Hazardous materials teams were called to the scene. Property records show the home is owned by an LLC and that's tied to David He. That is an alias used by Jia Beiju, the Chinese national who was arrested in 2023 on federal charges. Charges involved misbranded medical devices and false statements to the FDA. Police say at least one person has been arrested, though no identity has been released so far. The investigation is ongoing.
