What Sells & What Doesn’t in Vintage Jewelry
What treasures are hiding in a year's worth of vintage jewelry hauls? Let’s find out.
We’ve spent the past year collecting vintage silver and costume jewelry during our break, and now we’re opening the bags, sorting through it all, and sharing what stands out. From sparkling brooches to unexpected designer finds, we explore the pieces that catch our eyes—and explain why.
Then we head to one of Florida’s biggest antique shows, where we browse, chat with fellow resellers, and discover what styles and prices actually draw us in. We also walk through how to spot modern reproductions, talk with collectors, and find pieces we’re excited to bring home.
Back at the studio, the real magic begins: trays filled with necklaces, bracelets, compacts, charms, vintage purses, and more. We show how we group and arrange them for antique shows—creating inviting cases that blend storytelling with standout style.
From mid-century enamel pins to Bakelite and Catalin bangles, ruby-red rhinestones to Italian micro mosaics, and signed copper by Matisse and Renoir—each case tells a story. We even build a “showstopper” case anchored by a bear claw squash blossom necklace, flanked by antique Czech and Victorian pieces, Black Hills gold, and sterling silver treasures.
If you love vintage jewelry, antique shows, or just want to see how we create displays that spark conversation and capture attention, this is the episode for you.
