Part 1. Listen to a short story.
This morning, I left my house in a hurry. I was running late for work. I grabbed my bag,
my keys, and my coffee. Then, I rushed out the door. On the bus, I reached into my bag.
But my phone wasn't there. I checked again. Still nothing. I felt nervous. No phone. No music.
No messages. No map. Just me and the sound of the bus.
At first, I felt lost. I didn't know what to do. My hands felt empty. I just sat
and looked around. I saw people talking, smiling, looking out the window. No one was using a phone.
And then, I noticed the sunlight. It was warm on my face. The sky was blue. Trees passed by
slowly outside. For a moment, I stopped thinking. I just enjoyed the morning. It felt simple.
And it felt good.
