Serbia vs Ukraine Highlights Women s World Championships 2025

Serbia in red serving Ukraine in the white and blue receiving it's the second day of competition from the FIVV Women's World Volleyball Championship. Boscovich the same with Vakif Bank. There's quality all across the positions and that is the quality and that now opens up the question key who's the best opposite on the planet right now in the women's. On Mars I'm not sure about Vargas there's so many imagine oh they're all they're all super high quality and all is very slightly different than what they bring and how they go about the business of winning their points aren't they and apologies to those of you watching if you if I've if we've missed an opposite that you think is the best on the planet right now these two teams trying to win a point and it's been taken that's a great swing rely too heavily just on Boscovich. Cool that stayed in place somehow still the ball doesn't hit the floor but it does now and it's Ukraine who take the point big pick there get someone on the floor and even better if you can get their best opposite oh come on come on Tiana's turning that net into a badminton net look at this she gets so high about to get ready and be available to swing on pretty much anything that's nice there's a really good arm swing just a setting serving substitution good touch free ball though Ukraine it's very close to the three meter line play continues good touch in the block so they'll be doing well at the moment with their defense but it's a wonderful finish now really gathers pretty close oh great pickup that looked like it was going to hit the floor this time it does make sure of it and the first set goes the way of Serbia 25-21 the rest of the situation going on at China playing Mexico right now that is an absolute shutdown and uh i'm not one for normally giving away uh what's going on you want the libero taking the ball but can't give her too much court yeah because she's she was yeah way too far over now out of the play though the chance here for Ukraine well it's not going to make it that is a great touch though but it's advantage now for Serbia what a pickup that is Liam Saber and what a shame it ends on a negative action four points the difference Ukraine playing some pretty good volleyball Serbia playing better that is world class it's great to see as well the number of players historically from NCAA going to play around the world nice swing you're right you know you're absolutely key Michael everybody is one that's nice that was it what we're doing on a catch and throw there was a huge swing from Boscovich they're not super high risk they are changing it up as coach talked about that one much shorter to try and throw Serbia off well done for not touching the net but now plenty of opportunities to front court one of them make it three front court because Merkovich has put it over well it would have been the left side that would be paying attention to her but keep in mind then the opposite Boscovich on the other side if she's back court you can't leave her with an open open attack zone that's great hit Ivanovich only 20 good touch crane take the point half another she's at rotation six so three front row attackers that's lovely just straight from the it's a well-traveled professional player it's a lot of experience good swing Nuda she's done well since coming on steady once again from Ivanovich great save free ball though for Serbia and it is done first time of the asking Maja Lexic on the slide behind to preserve the block isn't too bad Pavlik can only give it to Serbia a chance for them to send it back with interest and still the rally continues oh what a pickup Njemseva another opportunity for Serbia Boscovich clever play from Boscovich in that cross court direction works well oh is that in oh yes it is that is a wonderful shot to the line interesting pass and that is why Boscovich is there channel open nice work here by Serbia and again to all intents and purposes Boscovich going in to hit that ball it's the one issue for who's that she does jump so high she does like to swing down on the ball which means the blocks coming into play so Boscovich goes don't worry i got this nicely done nowhere to go for Kraduva at another point Serbia no faking just covering that's a great serve are we ready to move forward but look like she put a bit of double gravity on it that's how fast it dropped what a pickup and again lovely cover from Jedic there's a chance here for Ukraine Pavlik no massive shutdown Boscovich what a block from her she does it all blocks attacks she's got some service aces in there takes focus now very nice so it's good when you get a really anxious service well dealt with but it's into transition here for Serbia to bring up a match point well what a pickup from Nula good scramble by Ukraine oh no Alexis thought about it but then Shara Rotska been given explicit instructions by Jakub Leszek to go after the Libra it's not just the tip is it it's the placement where match point Serbia is that off the block no it is not and that is it it is all over
