There's been a lot to talk about already in this series as we head into game.
He wants to hold something back a little bit later, maybe second, third time through the
order and give them something they haven't seen.
It's tough when you know a guy's got that in his back pocket as a hitter, you really
have to stay on your toes.
That one is in.
Wastes no time there.
That pretty much split the zone down the middle and those are the ones where you've got to
make a move.
Homer's this series and we're level.
It's 3-3 and the streak is alive.
He's Homer now at seventh straight.
Who does this guy think he is?
Joey Botto or something?
Yeah, that's ridiculous.
See a hitter aggressive on the first pitch of an at-bat.
You watch him from the on-deck circle so when you step in the box, you're ready to pull
the trigger wherever it's at.
Really good job by the hitter.
Total conviction.
That's right.
Big Daddy goes 6'5", 43 years young.
He's a former American League MVP.
His second homer.
Just like that, they move in front.
It's 4-3.
Singing the ball.
It is tons of loud contact.
Man, it's been impressive.
Working with this kind of velocity is so critical that you move the ball around, work quickly
and make sure that you keep that hitter off balance.
Clearly not fooled by the location or the velocity.
He was all over that fastball.
First, next to hit.
Big Daddy.
3-for-3.
He's got a double and a pair of home runs.
And he's gone yard again.
That's his third home run of the game.
And they throw a pair on the board.
It's 6-3.
Square it up.
Not wasting any time in that at-bat booth.
Aggressive and it paid off.
Putting on an absolute show with this one.
And there's no better time than the postseason to go off at the plate like this.
I mean, a three-homer game, always special.
But pulling it off in October during the biggest games of the year, that's incredible.
So two down.
Big Daddy steps in for the Royals.
Four out of four with a double.
And he's homered three times.
This one is blessed.
His fourth home run of the game.
It's 10-3.
One pitch.
Yeah, you can say that's efficiency right there.
Didn't need much time in the box to make an impact.
Wow, this is awesome.
I mean, a four-homer game, which is so special.
Congratulations to the American League champions.
These players have worked hard all season long.
And their hard work has paid off for the World Series.
This team can't wait to get it started.
Here's Chris Singleton and our entire outstanding crew.
Thank you for watching the American League Championship Series on MLB The Show.
