Casa CO is a residential project designed by Farré Arquitectos in Mexico City. This project stems from an absolute respect for the memory of the place: a home steeped in personal history that doesn't transform, but rather evolves.
From the beginning, the goal was to preserve the essence of the original house and reinterpret it through a contemporary architectural language, where atmosphere, proportion and control of natural light become the main protagonists.
The materiality is achieved through a restrained palette of wood, granite, and glass, used with precision to eliminate any unnecessary gestures. The result is a sober and elegant architecture, where black acts as a backdrop and light reveals the materials, the structural rhythm, and the relationship with the garden and its central tree.
More than a remodel, Casa CO represents a sensitive evolution, built from a deep collaboration between client and architects, where trust allowed the project to reach its maximum spatial expression.
