I want to share with you my 7th camping adventure. In this new camping adventure, I'd like to show you the shelter I built from the bark left over from rotting trees in the forest. Building a shelter from the remnants of trees that had been rotting in the forest for years was truly challenging. The sloping forest terrain made it difficult to even stand. So, first, I had to create a flat surface in the soil. I surrounded this area with stone walls and then built a framework to assemble the bark. Then, all I had to do was assemble the bark until I had a nice shape.
With the approaching winter, the mountaintops were getting colder, so I made sure to build a fireplace to protect me from the cold. This made it a shelter that would keep me warm even in the coldest of times.
Putting it all together was a truly challenging adventure. Despite this, I have to say it was a fun adventure. I believe it's a unique shelter idea and that this idea might inspire new ideas for survival in the wild.
