Modesty panels, historically known as stomachers, are useful not only for covering up the lacing gap in your corset, but can also be used to add extra detail or design to your corset. In this video, I go over my method for making modesty panels at French Meadows. There are doubtless dozens of different ways to go about this, but this is the tried and true French Meadows way!
