
Patel: FBI ‘Chasing Down’ Threats to Federal Agents Amid Minneapolis Protests
FBI director Kash Patel said the bureau is “chasing down” anyone accused of threatening or impeding federal agents following anti-ICE protests in Minneapolis.
Patel says investigators are examining encrypted Signal chat groups allegedly used to coordinate protest activity, share information about ICE agents’ movements, and potentially incite violence. The investigation comes as federal authorities probe ICE-related shootings and the alleged theft of sensitive government documents containing agents’ personal information.
