Welcome back to Philadelphia where the Bucs are playing their 15th game of the season without Giannis Antetokounmpo. They're 3-11 so far with him sidelined 15-15 when he does play their worst record through 44 games since his rookie season and the second best shooting percentage from three in the NBA. They're going to need some explosive three-point shooting here tonight against what is an explosive offense that we've seen at times from Philadelphia that is coming off a game in which they were embarrassed yesterday 130-93 at the hands of one of the hotter teams in the NBA, the Charlotte Hornets. Our officials tonight Josh Tivin in year number 16, Jason Goldenberg in year nine, and Suyash Mehta in his sixth season as a full-time official. Those of you tuning in haven't seen the Philadelphia 76ers. This is an opportunity with their big three, Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, the all-star starter, and Paul George dating back to last year. This will be the 31st time that they've all been on the floor at the same time. They head off to a very slow start this season but they've won seven of their last 11 went on the court together and Maxey will be at the controls to start this game. Guarded most of the night expected to be at least by Rollins. Off the screen finds some space and knocks it down and Reggie Doc Rivers mentioned to us Ryan Rollins. It's going to be a long day chasing Tyrese Maxey around defensively and they're going to need his offense just like they'll need this guy Bobby Portis with his first deuce. 13 points in the starting lineup. Maxey too strong. Rebound edge comes second chance for George who loads it up and rolls the triple. Here comes George. Attack, kick, Embiid thought about it. He's been shooting at a high clip from three. Edgecombe has been shooting a high clip all year. Four from three. Milwaukee just one for four but they've missed their last three as Rollins doesn't get the roll and the hustle of Portis had it swatted by Edgecombe. As that one was short from green, weak side board goes to Rollins. He attacks past George and an impressive finish. They said that they're not trying to make him into a point guard because that's not necessarily what he is. Just an efficient player. That's a nice look to the outside. Ends with a swing, swing and a Turner triple. Oubre can't put an end to it. Portis couldn't collect the rebound. Batted to Embiid. Second chance with McCain now on the floor. George will try. Money. Generates so much offense and wide open threes for this team. Whether they can continue plays like that. Early Justin Edwards in the game along with McCain, Embiid, Maxey and George. Embiid jab and jumper. I mean it's for a guy that's seven one to have that type of ability. I mean that was a shooting guard small forward jab for jump shot. Turner push shot goes down. With a four-point cushion they're kind of giving Milwaukee a taste of their own medicine. Kuzma stops on a dive. Turner on the cut and slam. Ten to shoot for Turner on the outside. Great defense there by Edwards denying Rollins. Turner how did he squeeze it through and he's got a chance for three. Five and a half rebounds after they brought him in on a four-year 107 million dollar contract but Doc Rivers has talked about just how much he's meant on a day-to-day practice with the energy that he brings as Embiid finds nylon. He just got caught under the rim now it's a five on four the other way. Maxey turns off a speed couldn't bank it in Embiid there for the cleanup duty. And if they continue to play like this and his minutes start to increase and he's starting to score and do stuff like that nice block on the backside there. Embiid trying to stay with it the fourth effort goes. Gary Trent Jr. in the game for Milwaukee after he hasn't played in two of the last three. McCain he's been trying to find that rhythm. Look at that. McCain just sneaks inside for two more. Ends up on the deck numbers the other way for Milwaukee if they hurry. It's Kuzma streaking to the rim for the Dukes. Has had one of the worst records of challenges this season but Philly did have immediate possession and Embiid takes advantage with a stop on the dime. Here's McCain already with a couple of buckets Embiid thought he wants to go to work and that's why Embiid filling it up in this first quarter. 16.7 rebounds three assists for Joel Embiid and a steal scooped up by Edwards away to the rim and he wins. Edwards with a slam and Philly click it early. 90 seconds to play in the first Trent cut backs on a three. What was once lost but barely played a season ago. Anthony high off the window that was impressive touch. Nine to shoot now for Watford. Watford attacks on Cordes gets position and finishes. Cordes comes in fourth in the NBA in three-point shooting at 46.5 percent from the outside. Maxey got the step and the finish his lead for Philly it's up to 10. Cordes working on Oubre double comes Trent will let it fly and he hits another one. What I like these guys put a lot of time together in the gym shooting nothing but three. So you're saying he understands it now is that what you're trying to say? He understands it now. And they've got Rollins back on the floor bouncing inside for Cordes back down on Oubre double comes and it doesn't matter. So Cordes continues to produce now with four points four rebounds and three assists. Maxey scoop shot. Cole Anthony who found himself out of the rotation for a bit with Milwaukee now having another opportunity to prove what he's shown over the course of his career he can be volume scorer like that off the bench. Couldn't finish there second chance relocation and Anthony pulls up for Bobby Cordes. Trent trailing the play open three ball goes Gary Trent jr finds nylon and it's back to a three-point game. Edwards probes through trailer Oubre pump drive lobbed towards the rim Bono wasn't there but he collects it anyway for the Dukes have a harm. That's what Miles Turner and the concentration it takes to do it. Did he say life size of himself? Life size. Oh my god. Yes he's got to scale. Kuzma collects the rebound midway through this second quarter can they reignite the offense a crushing screen from Turner. Kuzma spray it AJ Green knocks it down. That's the one thing keeping them within striking distance has been that three-point line set it down to 10 now if he can get some stops this has been a long break for Joel Embiid and that's kind of a flurry impact there the process can still fly does Milwaukee have any counterpunch crazy eyes with some crazy hops it's been on full display here in this first half to me it's been defensively Turner connects Maxey Embiid going right back to work face up Embiid jumper he nails it. Not much space Maxey creates there McCain drive kick Embiid swing Maxey ripped down by Turner with just under two to play in the first half Rollins of H. George zigzag move for two. Maxey off the screen long rebound hustle play of Barlow continues now it's Embiid's second shot opportunity offensive rebound has just done in Milwaukee in this first half he's got 22 to 5 advantage in terms of second chance points Rollins has the answer. How many miles you run each game and you said well because of the two-man game with Joel how much was that on display in the first half? Yeah we're doing well man we're playing the right way getting our two-man game involved but we're also getting everybody's involved Jerry just had a shot in corner he's been playing well so he's doing a good job right now. I got to go back to Joel though 24 points in the first half the alley-oop when's the last time you saw that from him? Fortis was somewhat quiet in his starting roles with six points in the first half on three of nine shooting Kuzma no Turner yes really for either team in the first half defense the issue for Milwaukee and they continue to string together stops George shake and bake and bucket just put that right over Mac nice pass Portis inside for the finish filled up you're showing some of that third quarter struggle that we've seen all season it's George against Green he'll just rise over the top for two more it looks like they're going to try to find the hot hand it's George he'll step into it and bury VJ Edgecombe to learn the game and grow up around these veterans Green the cut and finish it's the last line of the defense for the zone here that's been giving the Bucks problems corner Edgecombe triple trailer Maxie trying to get it to Embiid now a scramble they couldn't get it to their zone and Maxie takes advantage Doc Rivers calls for a timeout just under five to play in the third a press 24 now for Milwaukee and a scramble defensively for Philly Rollins takes advantage over Embiid it was like one of those where there's a fumble on the football field and the player jumps on the pile gets piled up as Embiid finally drills one in his second half the first bucket shot over the smaller defender in Harris lookout for Miles Turner with three minutes to play in this third quarter Maxie kept the dribble alive and sneaks it up and in McCain and Portis will check in respectively next dead ball open look it's Turner and he makes it rain a season high 26 for Miles Turner couldn't have asked for a better look there by Portis jr George got a three six point swing you miss a three at one end by Portis jr George he's been hot in the third still scorching in the third come on man talking about what are we doing here talking about Bill Belichick says the rebound six seconds left Maxie realizes he's got plenty of time by his standards he goes right down the middle too easy for Tyrese third quarter woes for Philadelphia they end up winning the third quarter by two they lead by 11 as we start the fourth year in Philly McCain looking to add and he does and came back and started to perform here nice shield by Kuzma to eventually finish got caught in the air Portis Anthony puts it on the deck Anthony feeds and fills it up but Milwaukee's right in the middle of the pack killing 15 a night George face up jump shot he is feeling it Paul George cans another 15 for Portis but this man has been a torch and he continues Paul George finally feeling the brotherly love Bono went for the poster instead has been walked the other way Kuzma lines it up George off the screen George on Rollins attacks George kick McCain three kaboom at one point before going down with the injury a rip Edgecumbe took it away from Kuzma McCain shooting and scoring here and does takes it away he'll pull rebound Edwards second chance McCain will try instead they leave Trent all alone and he can't respond Portis rebound back outside Trent will try and Trent will hit on the second effort scary teams going forward here Turner lets it fly and knocks another one through what a great evening for Miles Turner still no timetable as Portis gets that turnaround to go down Bona stays out there with Maxi McCain's Edgecumbe and George poke it in and Bona does the rest Kuzma extra three three is out indefinitely talks about Giannis Maxi spread out MP3 is good for the longest streak of 30 point games in two seasons looking for one more point to extend it they're going to get it to him he got position missed it Edgecumbe he is bouncing there's just something about the ease that Edgecumbe can levitate as Rollins puts two more on the board that is so pretty I think there will be a lot of questions on the other side of the ball here too from Milwaukee what do you do with Giannis I know he self-diagnosed himself saying he'll be back in a month yes but this one in Philadelphia belonged to the Sixers a wire-to-wire victory for Philly 139 to 122 the second time this season that you Tyrese and PG have all scored 20 plus as a unit what did tonight do as you all continue to find your flow we just gotta obviously keep putting these games together we've been consistent lately as far as you know everybody been on the floor so you know still you know with everybody still learning he said four years ago you buying that yeah I don't I've never been an alley-oop gal but uh yeah I think I'll surprise myself he's been a long time since I caught a hoop so uh I guess it was nice to see and given everything you've been through what's it feel like to have that pop again to to fly again so to speak man it feels so good uh every single time I you know just step on the floor like here you know I become emotional uh because you know the last few years I've been extremely tough uh you know what you know I've been through you know my family so you know I'm just happy you know finally being consistent being on the floor I don't take it for granted uh yeah it's been it's been a good feeling to just be on the court do what you love and uh yeah hopefully uh you know just gotta keep doing the right things and keep it going the game missed you
