If there's one quality that you would give a human being for them to reach the potential
that they are capable of, give them the energy of resilience. Resilience. But the question is,
am I going to be resilient enough to get back up when I fall off that horse?
Am I going to get, am I going to be resilient enough to get up the next morning when I didn't
even feel like getting up the morning before? When your voice chimes up and starts talking
that is your signal to act immediately. If it's telling you to take a break,
you go do double the work. If it's telling you, ah man, it's Sunday, you don't need to do this.
You need to get the up and do it. Every time you hear it, you need to take action because
action is the only thing that will squash that voice permanently. Am I going to be resilient
enough to show up for myself, good God Almighty, when nobody showed up for me?
Can I show up for, can I show up for myself today and then the next day and then the next day? And
when you start to realize resilience is a muscle, the only way to develop it is to be pushed,
is to be tested, is to make you want to quit. Life's going to make you want to quit. Don't quit.
Don't stop. Because worst case, you're going to develop your muscle resilience and resilience
will be the thing that always gets you to the top of the mountain. You see, you do become what you
think about most of the time. You do achieve what you think about most of the time. So all successful
people and all wealthy people think about their goals most of the time. There's going to come a
time where you want to quit. And if your reason why is not stronger than the urge to quit, you'll
fold. You'll fold over and over and you'll keep down. Get clear on these things. Who you want to
be physically, who you want to be mentally, who you want to be to those around you, who you want
to be in five years, and why. Why do you want all of this? That's the most important thing. Before
you even start, you have to know why this is important to you. There is a version of you right
now that exists, that has it all. Everything you could possibly think of. The version in just
living it right now. And the fastest way to experience that is to connect to the highest
version of you. So here's how you do it. Before going to bed, imagine this white light coming
down from the sky, filling your entire body up with this white light. And when you're ready,
I want you to follow this light up as far as you can go. And your intention is, I want to connect
to the version of myself that has the life that I want. So follow this light up as far as you can go,
beyond the country, beyond the earth, until you're there. And when you're there,
bask in everything that you experience. You might even say to yourself, I fully receive
all the lessons, all the guidance in this space. I am ready to be one with the version of me that
has it all. I am ready. I am ready. I am ready. And then fall asleep to this energy. Do that,
and you'll be shocked at the things that you're going to attract and experience when you wake up
It's the lonely moments that expose how you treat yourself. Because if you find that nobody's around
and the fear of being with your own mind starts to creep in, you haven't built enough evidence
that you can trust yourself. Shouldn't be afraid of you. You are the only thing in this world you
actually control. And I promise to be in good company with yourself is very possible, even in
the painful moments. You know, your heroes are heroic because they never default on who you'd
expect them to be. So keep all of your promises to yourself and watch you become your biggest hero.
Nothing happens until you take action. Nobody ever thought their way to success.
Nobody ever hoped their way to success. Nobody ever wrote goals on a planner to success.
They acted. The moment that you and I act, the moment that you and I move, the moment that you
and I take action, action is what attracts. It's the action. It's the movement that people say,
Oh my, look at them. Look what they're doing. Look where they're going. And the moment that I
began to take action, I began to attract people. I began to attract resources. I began to attract
opportunities, all this stuff. It doesn't, it doesn't come to you. Quit waiting for it. It
isn't coming. You go to it and you make it happen. Nothing more motivating than the knowledge I'm
going to die. Think of the prisoner in the cell and they're putting an X through everyone because
every X is one day closer to getting out. Well, let's do that for your life. Every X
you spend doing nothing. That's a day you could have done something and you're going to die.
One day it's there on the calendar. Okay. This would so motivate me as it does
to be as productive as I can, as helpful as I can try to make a better world for
your privilege of having lived in it. So if knowing you're going to die brings meaning
to your life, then living forever is a life of no meaning at all.
If you decide that you want to achieve a goal, you start moving toward it. And what is the first
thing you're going to experience? Obstacles, difficulties, failure, setbacks, disappointments.
They come over and over again. You may fail nine times for every 10th time that you make a step
forward. Well, if you have high levels of ambition, like an engine, a car with a powerful engine,
you'll go over the bumps. You'll keep driving forward. If you have low levels of ambition,
what will you do? You will quit at the first failure or disappointment.
We spend a lot of time in our life chasing success. But what really is success? What does
it mean? What does it mean to be successful? Have you ever sat down and figured out,
if I accomplish what I'm going after, that goal or that dream or whatever that is,
does getting that make me successful? What about the people that I have with me along the way,
or the people I need to help me along the way, or the people I help along the way?
What about that? Does that play into my success? Do you think about the people that surround you
and that you surround and the difference that it makes in your life and theirs as you go on this
chase of achievement? Success is cool. Success is something we should go after.
But significance is better. I want you to be successful, but I want you to understand
that if that success has no significance to anyone but you, then it's not going to
have that kind of feeling that you think you're going to get from that success.
There's no secure path forward. Give it up. It's risk everywhere. Oh my God, that's terrible. It's
like, yes, except for two things. You can pick your risk. That's the first thing. So you get
to pick your poison. That's something. And second, you're a lot tougher than you think. So even though
there's risk everywhere, if you confront it forthrightly, what you'll find is that you can
actually handle the risk. And that's the security. You've heard that the eyes are the window to the
soul, but you haven't heard that they're also the bridge to your goals and that the reason you
aren't able to achieve them is that you're looking at the wrong things constantly scrolling to guard
your eyes. The way to do so is very simple. Stop looking for pleasure and start looking for growth.
Realize that the second you start protecting your eyesight is the second you start making
significant progress towards your goals. Treat yourself with utmost respect or what? Settle for
nothing but the best life you could possibly imagine or what? I mean, is there seriously
another option in your mind? Would you actually be willing to give up the potential of your life
to an uncertainty of your ability to get it? I'll be honest, you're not better than anybody,
but guess what? Nobody is better than you. The people with your dream life are not better than
you. Your family is not better than you. I am not better than you. So if anybody can have what you
are looking for, it's you. Time doesn't lie. It reveals the truth about how much you've given,
how much you've endured, and how much you're willing to fight for what you say you want.
Time isn't your enemy. It's your greatest ally, but it only works for you if you show up.
How often have you felt stuck in the routines of life? The same mornings, the same faces,
the same paths you walk day after day. There's comfort in knowing exactly where you are and
where you're going, but let me ask you this. Is comfort all there is to life? The truth is,
comfort zones are illusions. They make us feel safe, but they also trap us. You see,
the magic of life doesn't happen in the places you already know. It happens in the unknown,
the messy, the unpredictable. There's a quote that goes, if you never get lost,
how will you ever expect to find yourself? Think about that for a second. If you always know what's
next, if every step is planned and calculated, where's the room for discovery? Where's the room
for growth? Let me tell you something about being lost. Those moments when you don't know what's
next, when the map you followed all your life suddenly tears apart, those are the moments when
life truly begins. Those are the moments when you stop walking a straight line and start exploring.
This isn't about staying safe, avoiding risks, or sticking to what you know. No, this is about
embracing the chaos, the kind of chaos that makes you question everything you thought you knew,
the kind of chaos that scares you, but also sets you free. Because here's the truth, you'll never
discover the life you were meant to live if you're too afraid to leave the life you already know.
So let go. Let go of the isolation, the hesitation, and the fear. It's time to break
free, to try, to fail, and to get lost. In doing so, find a version of yourself that's braver,
brighter, and more alive than you ever imagined. Let's start with why we're so terrified of
getting lost. You know, somewhere along the way, society taught us that uncertainty is a bad thing.
From childhood, we're handed a map. Go to school, get good grades, get a stable job, save for
retirement, stay in your lane, play it safe. But let me ask you, who wrote that map? Did you? Or was
it written by someone else? Society, your parents, or your fears? Think about the life you're living
right now. Are you walking your own path? Or are you following someone else's? Are you chasing
dreams that are truly yours? Or are you stuck living out expectations that were placed on you?
Now imagine throwing that map away. Scary, right? But here's the thing, when you get lost, you don't
just lose your way, you lose the limits you placed on yourself. You lose the narrow perspective
that's been holding you back. When you get lost, you stop living on autopilot. You begin to notice
the opportunities around you, the ones you've been too afraid to see. That's why getting lost matters.
It's not a failure, it's not a setback, it's an awakening. It's the universe telling you
there's more out there for you, if you're brave enough to explore it. Fear, it's the number one
thing holding us back. Fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear of looking foolish. But let me
ask you this, what's scarier, trying and failing or never trying at all? Failure isn't the opposite of
success, it's part of the process. Every step forward begins with a stumble. Every masterpiece
starts as a rough draft. Every strong person was once terrified. But here's the secret, fear isn't
your enemy, it's your guide. Fear is like a compass, it points you to the places where you need to grow.
Think about the things you're afraid of. Are you afraid to speak your mind, to step into the
spotlight, to pursue your passion? That fear isn't telling you to stop, it's showing you what matters
most to you. So what if you fail? What if you look foolish? So what? You'll survive. In fact, you'll do
more than survive. You'll learn, you'll grow, you'll become stronger. Picture this, years from now, when
you look back on your life, will you be proud of how you lived? Or will you be haunted by the chances
you didn't take? The life you want is waiting for you, but you'll never find it if you let fear keep
you in place. There's another reason we stay stuck, isolation. We convince ourselves we don't need
anyone else, that we're better off alone, you know. But let me tell you something, independence isn't
the same as isolation, you know what I mean? We were built for connection, but here's the thing,
true connection requires vulnerability. It requires stepping out of your shell and saying,
this is me, will you meet me here? So reach out, join that class, go to that event, say yes to the
invitation you've been avoiding. Life isn't meant to be lived alone. Here's the thing nobody tells
you, getting lost isn't just necessary, it's fun. Think about the last time you tried something
completely new. Maybe you got lost in a new city, stumbled upon an incredible cafe, or ended up
having an unforgettable conversation with a stranger. Life is full of surprises, but only if
you're open to them. When you let go of control and embrace the unknown, you invite magic into your
life. Do you want to know the secret to happiness? It's not about having everything figured out,
it's about living with curiosity and wonder. It's about waking up every day and asking what
amazing thing might happen today. So start saying yes, yes to adventures, yes to risks,
yes to the things that make your heart race. The more you let go, the more you find yourself.
When you step into the unknown, you discover strengths you never knew you had. You realize
you're braver, smarter, and more resourceful than you thought. Getting lost strips away
the labels and expectations that have been placed on you, and it forces you to ask,
who am I really? And in the process, you find the truest, most authentic version of yourself.
So where do we go from here? That's up to you. The life you want is waiting for you,
but you'll never find it if you're too afraid to get lost. So go, try, fail, explore. And remember,
getting lost isn't the end, it's the beginning. So what would you say the biggest deception was?
What was the biggest lie you were told? It's not that simple. Why not? No, that's the biggest
lie I was ever told. It's not that simple. And it's a lie they tell you over and over again.
What's not simple? Any of it. All of it. It's how they get you to give up. They say it's not
that simple, Vinny. So what's the truth? That is, that if you just do the thing that they tell you,
you can't, then it's done. And you realize it is that simple.
What are you afraid of, Eric? I'm not afraid of anything. No, you're afraid of something,
and it's stopping you. Stopping? From what? From becoming what we all know you're capable of being.
What I'm capable of, what I'm capable of. You know, so, Mr. Feeny, I'm always hearing that,
what I'm capable of. I took the SATs last year, remember? I blew them. You know, maybe I'm just
not meant to be in college. Maybe you're someone who gives up too easily. What'll it be, Mr.
Matthews? Who are you? You're always afraid to take the first step, because all you see
is every negative thing ten miles down the road. But you can do anything you want. You are bound
by nothing. What are you passionate about? Another moment of life. Our lives, what we create,
are made from the decisions we make on a moment-to-moment basis.
Champions are never woken up and born into success. They're created, they're mature,
they're struggled and weathered through that effort of hard work and dedication and sacrifice
to achieve that championship status. It's these moments, these decisions we make on a daily basis.
Do we get up early and go for a run? Do we hit the snooze button? Do we go that extra
rec in the gym and our body's dying? Do we push past that? All these little things are the inches
that have to be to measure our difference between first place and forever forgotten.
Second place. Huge margins. But if you look about your day and all these little moments of life,
all these little opportunities are in your wheelhouse. You create them. And later in life,
when you're crying because you came up short, stop being so selfish. Look back on your day.
Examine it. Put it under a microscope and have responsibility for your actions. Those inches
you need to be number one then, which is now in the past, are around us every single day.
It's not a bad break. It's not the ref making a bad call. It's that you get up that day and
do those little tiny things, the little details, the little nuggets of life. That's what adds up
to be the difference. If you have a dream, if you have a goal in life that you want to accomplish,
I can tell you hard work, dedication, determination, but always have that dream.
Continue to have that vision because when you continue to propel forward, you will see
accomplishments. Take small steps and sooner or later, they will continue to grow and grow and
grow into bigger accomplishments. Believe in yourself. Stay strong. Stay focused. No matter
what, the bad times don't last forever. If someone tells you you can't, you prove to them
that you can. If someone fires you from a job, you say, you know what? When one door closes,
another door opens. Always believe in yourself. Don't try to be like anyone else. Live your
dreams. Live your thoughts and live your ideas to the fullest and always believe that no matter
what happens in your life, it's for a greater purpose. Rise, young warrior. You must get up.
Your journey is not over. I can't fight him. He has all my weapons. I have nothing. When you began
your journey, you were determined. Nothing could stop you. And now that you are so close, are you
willing to give up so easily? It was easier at the beginning. Beginnings are often easier,
but think of all that you have accomplished along your journey. What's the point of fighting my way
up the mountain when someone else is just going to come up the easy way? There is always going
to be someone who does things the easy way, but that should not stop you from doing things the
right way. It is your journey, young warrior. Only you decide when it ends. I just don't think
I can do this. I'm never going to find a home. You know, sometimes your mind plays tricks on you.
It can tell you you're no good, that it's all hopeless. I've discovered this. You are loved
and important, and you bring to this world things that no one else can. The best things in life are
obvious. They don't need a plan, perfect timing, or anyone's approval. They come from a feeling
you can't ignore. You don't have to overthink it or force it. The work feels weightless,
the risk feels small, and the hours you spend disappear. That's how you know it's yours.
It doesn't fight you, it finds you. So lean into that thing, because that's where the magic is.
Life isn't a straight line. It's not a neat series of steps that lead you from where you are
to where you want to be. It's a storm, a constant push and pull between hope and heartbreak,
between progress and pain. And sometimes it feels like the storm is winning. You work,
you fight, you give everything you have. And for what? To watch things fall apart?
To lose what you thought you'd built? To feel like the universe is laughing in your face?
It's hard not to wonder sometimes. What's the point? But here's the truth about life,
and it's not the easy polished truth people like to tell you. The truth is, life is hard,
unfair, brutal, and relentless. It doesn't care how tired you are. It doesn't care how much you've
already endured. It will keep coming at you, wave after wave, testing your strength, testing your
patience, testing your will to keep moving. And that's the thing about life. It's not meant to
be easy, because it's not the easy moments that shape us. It's not the smooth paths that teach us
who we are. It's the struggle, the fight, the times when everything feels impossible,
but you find a way to take one more step anyway. Think about the hardest moments of your life.
The times you thought you wouldn't make it. The nights you cried yourself to sleep.
The mornings you woke up feeling like you couldn't face another day.
You didn't just survive those moments. You grew from them. They pushed you to your limits.
And in doing so, they showed you what you're capable of. And that's the lesson life keeps
teaching us. Growth doesn't happen in comfort. It happens in the fire. But here's what makes
it so hard. When you're in the middle of it, when the fire is burning and the storm is raging,
it's almost impossible to see what's on the other side. It's hard to imagine that the pain will end,
that the struggle will be worth it, that you'll come out stronger.
It feels like the darkness will never lift, but it does. It always does. Life has a way of breaking
us open, of tearing us apart, so that we can rebuild ourselves into something stronger.
And I know that sounds cruel, like a punishment, but it's not. It's life's way of teaching us
resilience, of showing us that we're capable of more than we ever imagined. And the only way to
learn that is to keep going. Because here's the thing about life. It doesn't stop. The clock
doesn't pause for you to catch your breath. The world doesn't wait for you to feel ready.
It keeps moving. And if you want to survive, if you want to thrive, you have to keep moving with
it. Even when it's hard, especially when it's hard. But moving forward doesn't mean you have to
have it all figured out. It doesn't mean you have to know exactly where you're going, or how you're
going to get there. Sometimes it's enough just to take one step, just to do the next right thing.
Because progress isn't about speed, it's about persistence. It's about refusing to give up,
no matter how many times you fall. You don't have to move fast. You just have to move.
And let me tell you something. You are stronger than you think. You've survived every single bad
day you've ever had. Every heartbreak, every disappointment, every failure. You've gotten
through it all. And if you're still here, if you're still breathing, that means you still have a chance.
A chance to fight. A chance to grow. A chance to build something out of the rubble.
The pain you're feeling right now? It's temporary. The struggle you're facing? It's temporary.
But the strength you gain from pushing through it? That's permanent. That's yours forever.
The key is not to let life's hardships define you. Don't let the pain harden you. Don't let
the failures convince you that you're not enough. Don't let the storm make you forget who you are.
You are not your setbacks. You are not your struggles. You are the person who keeps going,
who refuses to quit, who finds a way to rise, no matter how many times you fall.
And I get it. Sometimes it feels like the weight is too much to carry.
Sometimes you feel like you don't have the strength to keep going. But let me tell you
something. You don't have to carry it all at once. You don't have to do it all today. You just have
to keep moving, step by step, day by day, until the weight starts to feel lighter. Because here's
the truth. The storm doesn't last forever. The fire doesn't burn forever. The darkness doesn't
stay forever. And when the clouds clear, when the ashes settle, when the light starts to break
through, you'll see what all of this was for. You'll see that the struggle wasn't meaningless,
that the pain wasn't wasted, that it all shaped you into someone stronger,
someone wiser, someone who is capable of facing whatever comes next. So if you're in the middle
of the storm right now, if you're feeling broken, if you're wondering how you're going to keep going,
I want you to remember this. You've made it through every storm before this one.
You found a way to keep moving. You've been through a lot this year. And it wasn't for no
reason. And I can promise you, it's not wasted. And you learned a lot of lessons this year.
Lessons that you might have thought that you didn't need to learn. But going into this next
year, you need to realize how strong you've become. You have learned lessons and you have become
strong. And now you have the ability to do something great, to carry something great that
you might have not been able to do a year ago. You've learned a lot through the pain.
So are you going to sit in the pain? Or are you going to bring something beautiful to life?
The hardest part is the uncertainty that all your sacrifice will be for nothing. That we give up
everything now for nothing later. But then you remember the life that you walked away from
to pursue your dream. And then you realize that there's no going back. And so you keep going.
Everything you've ever wanted is on the other side of 10 years of uncertainty, rejection,
and suffering. It just comes down to wanting what you're after more than you hate all the things
that you have to do to get it. And so despite all the hardship that you're going through,
you just got to believe with all your heart that you're going to make it.
The day is cold and dark and dreary. It rains and the wind is never weary. The vine still clings to
the moldering wall. But at every gust the dead leaves fall and the day is dark and dreary. My
life is cold and dark and dreary. It rains and the wind is never weary. My thoughts still cling
to the moldering past. But the hopes of youth fall thick in the blast and the days are dark
and dreary. Be still, sad heart, and cease repining. Behind the clouds is the sun still
shining. Thy fate is the common fate of all. Into each life some rain must fall.
Some days must be dark and dreary. We live in the past a lot of times. We live in the past
without regrets. We live in the past with the regrets of what might have been but is not.
We live as a... And you know, life gets weary and it seems rainy and it seems dark and gray
in the clouds. And that's all we see. And we need days in real life. We need days where it's chilly
and it's rainy and the things that we had planned to do we can't do. And the things that we thought
were going to happen today aren't going to happen. But we need the rain. But if you have,
whether in your life, in nature, if you have just non-stop sunshine, you wind up with a desert.
And you wind up, your life is a desert. And everything gets burned up. And in every life,
a little rain must fall. What if the truth was that you're greater than you think,
more powerful than you know, more unlimited than you could ever dream? If that was the truth,
that you are the creator of your life, you have to start... If you believe that to be the truth,
then you have to believe in yourself. And your belief in yourself must be earned.
It must be earned. And the only way that we can believe in a future is when we feel the emotion
associated with it. And so you're giving your body a taste emotionally of the future. And the
stronger the emotion you feel, the more you remember that future. And you literally are
embossing the circuitry for you to believe in it more. Don't be ashamed of your effort.
They can't stand being reminded of the thing they're capable of, but resist actually trying.
People will try to put the same limitations on you that they put on themselves. Don't mistake
their insecurities for your ceiling. So desperate to figure out how to convince people that there
is no loss in going for it. That, yeah, you might get made fun of and you might have in your own
mind, but trying to figure out how to make people drop that fear. Going and building a business for
themselves. Nobody wants the rejection. Nobody wants to lose. It's going to lead you to a place
where you're not going to win. Get serious. That's number one. 10 years from now, you will surely
become someone. The big question is who? You must overcome fear to step into your potential.
Understand that fear is not the enemy. It's a sign that you're on the edge of growth.
Reframe the way you look at fear. Reframe the way you look at fear. So often when we feel fear,
it makes us stay stuck or resort back. But you need to start viewing fear as a indicator of
the direction you need to move. Fear is a pulling force from your higher self saying,
go that way. The reason you feel fear is because you have to step into the unknown.
You have to step into the discomfort. You have to step away from the things that are known,
from the comfortability of where you're at. That's not easy. And your ego is going to do
everything in its power to stay comfortable. So it's going to bring those emotions of fear,
but don't feel those emotions negatively. Fear is not a negative thing. Fear is a driving force.
It's a pulling force to move in that direction. It's a guide. And when you start viewing fear
as a guide, rather than a hindrance and an enemy, it changes the way you navigate this journey.
Come on, man. Change the way you navigate this journey. George Adair says, everything you've
wanted is on the other side of fear. When people describe the characteristics of winners,
here are some of the things they said. They outwork the competition. They are focused.
They are resilient. The one I've seen in the best of the best that no one talks about is this.
They'd rather be hated for who they truly are than to be loved for what they're not.
Think about that. I just feel so angry all the time. And what if after everything that I've been
through, something's gone wrong inside me? What if I'm becoming bad? I want you to listen to me
very carefully, Harry. You're not a bad person. You're a very good person who bad things have
happened to. You understand? I'm psyched. The world isn't split into good people and
death eaters. We've all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to
act on. That's who we really are. Blaming the world will not heal the wounds within. And I know
that the world has given you these wounds. And I understand anger. I don't think anger is a bad
thing. You have to take the responsibility out of the world's hands and put it into your hands.
At some point, you got to decide for yourself. You can't let nobody make that decision for you.
When we were kids, my mom hung a poster over our bed. It had a picture of a bumblebee.
And under the picture, the caption read, according to all aerodynamic laws, the bumblebee cannot fly
because its body weight is not in the right proportion to its wingspan.
But ignoring these laws, the bee flies anyway. I have run every single morning of my life since I
was 17. And my God, have there been a lot of mornings that have meant a lot more to me than
just a run. If I'm honest, I defined the last six and a half years by loneliness and misunderstanding.
But through every bit of that pain, I never once skipped a beat in being there for myself.
People wonder why self-hatred and doubt is completely absent from my life. It is because
on the hundreds of days where I thought I couldn't take it anymore, when I felt like either my body
or my soul was completely broken, I picked myself up and proved it wrong once again.
So I don't know if my life is for everyone, but if you want to know how to love yourself,
I sure have found a way. Be careful what greatness brings you. But let me tell you,
once you get a taste of it, you'll never go back. I love individuals that talk about,
they have a certain lifestyle, they have certain things to do. Oh, I don't need all this. Yes,
you do. Yes, you do. Trust me. But you get used to certain things. When it goes away,
you're like, yeah, this don't feel right. It's easy to say that until you're put into that
situation. Don't get overwhelmed when life is just, it's like a bunch of crazy wild horses
out there in the big pasture and you can't catch the herd. You can't catch life. Stop
focusing on catching life, on getting a handle on life. Start focusing on one aspect of it and
get a handle on that. And usually that's you. Usually that's you. And then if you get a handle
on you, then you can start the next one, whatever it may be. Okay. To get anywhere in life,
you have to work extremely hard and you have to be disciplined. If you wanted to be a great piano
player, there's no drug you can take. There's no self-help book. There's no guru. You got to spend
five years, 10 years learning it until it becomes something, the second nature. There are no
shortcuts. But if you learn that from an early age, like 10 years old or whatever, you see after a few
years that an incredible pleasure happens where now you have mastery of this piano and you can
play things you could never play before. You suddenly, the whole thing opens up this whole
new universe. And that's the paradigm for everything meaningful in life. If you learn
something well, if you learn a craft and you master it, it can bring you a far greater pleasure
than any kind of drug or any kind of going out to a party or socializing, but you have to be
patient and you have to not be afraid of boredom and you have to not be afraid of the effort.
But I know now I got to work the system harder than it's working me.
That's what you got to do. The system is designed to swallow you whole. You got to find out what you
do better than anybody else and rock that. So what you going to do? How you going to leave your mark?
I'm realizing that if you don't want to repeat the past, the only way is to be present.
I think that a lot of us get caught up in a certain loops of our past or certain
things that identify us with our past versions of ourselves. And I think if we want to become
something new, if we want to change for the better, it's about instilling that into the now.
Focus on taking the first step. You know, when you get so caught up in where you want to be
and how far away it seems, sometimes you could quit before you even get started. You know,
so whether that's making changes within yourself, whether that's letting go, whether that's becoming
the best version of yourself, understand that all of those things take time. All those things take
process. They don't happen overnight. But the only way you'll be able to get there is from your
willingness to be able to figure it out, your willingness to go through this journey, your
determination to, you know, understand that on the other side of all your hard work, all your effort,
all the, you know, mistakes, challenges and hurdles you might have to overcome. Is that better that
you're looking? You know, sometimes you don't realize how strong you really are and how much
you're really capable of until you start taking the steps to actually find out.
