A House Designed to Live in CONTRADICTIONS

G

CHI House by Tad.atelier is a study of opposites.

Built on a sloping site in Đà Lạt, Vietnam, this mixed-use home explores contrast as an architectural tool — heavy and light, open and enclosed, dark and bright, solid and void.

Instead of eliminating differences, the design builds from them, creating layered spaces where interior and exterior blur, light filters through structure, and everyday life unfolds through a sequence of atmospheres.

From the floating metal stair to the open ground floor and the elevated terrace overlooking the pine valley, CHI House reveals how architecture can become an experience shaped by contrast.

This is not a house made of forms.
It is a house made of relationships.
