" Talisa Jewelry Review | Beautiful, Meaningful, Thoughtful Gift"

Hey everyone, welcome back to my channel i'm super excited about today's video I am sharing a new jewelry piece that I recently have gotten in from talisa jewelry And I thought it'd be fitting to be here in my daughter's nursery My baby girl is just five months and I got in this sweet meaningful gift and I think it's just really beautiful And I just wanted to share it very short and sweet here today on the channel Um, I have shared more of talisa's jewelry pieces before in the past So i'll leave the link to that video down below. I share about four or five different Pieces from them and i'm just i've just been a huge fan I shared that video last year and those were my first pieces I still wear and love my pieces that i've gotten in for an example This is a necklace and on the back has the engrave of where my husband and I got married We got married in the Dominican Republic And so I have those coordinates engraved here on the back of these pieces But what I love about their pieces is that I just feel like they're so meaningful and unique There's a lot of customization that you can do Um, but just in general they've really have held up well and like I said, I just got a piece in so I wanted to quickly get into that piece. It's going to be short and sweet today I'm gonna tell you the meaning behind it which obviously has to do with my baby girl since i'm in her nursery I thought it was fitting. Um, but anyways, let's go ahead and get right into the video Okay, so the item that I want to share is this beautiful heart necklace talisa jewelry comes in beautiful boxes, of course But behind the name I just wanted to quickly mention the name is tal and lisa. So it's husband and wife duo It's so sweet. I just feel like that's kind of a cool branding little nod to their brand Um, I just think it's really cute, but they create really thoughtful and meaningful gifts if you go over on their website Well, it's jewelry pieces and I think they make for a great gift because I don't know if I would order this myself But I feel like coming from my husband or even my mom or somebody like it's just really thoughtful and sweet So if you go over to their website lots of different options in terms of variety and different things But i'll talk about that in a second here But this right here is the ties to heart map necklace 18 karat gold vermeil I love gold vermeil because it really holds up to um wear and really the test of time a lot of most of my pieces in my jewelry collection are 18 karat gold vermeil what that means is they're it's sterling silver, but there's an extra coat of gold like it's like Something crazy like five times the amount of gold plating that goes on to it so that it just lasts. Um So just lasts longer through and all the things but anyways this heart necklace I thought was just really really sweet and special. I love hearts, you know, whether it's baby girl or not I'm from baby boy. I just think hearts are really special obviously and sweet to just wear I want to get a close-up of this so you guys can see it Okay, why this is so special why it means so much so you actually pick the map print like the silhouette of the map That goes on to the piece. So I obviously chose the heart here, but you can also choose like an A circle or like a drop a small teardrop Um, there's a couple of different options But what's really special is that you pick the map so it can be of anything of anywhere You actually can see it on the website, too Um, so you can like kind of hover it and move it to exactly where you want it to be And then it prints like that, which I think is really cool I feel like the biggest thing is when you order customizable things and you can't see the customization like even ordering something like For lani's room or something like that and it doesn't show you the color or the font It kind of drives me nuts because I feel like you don't know what you're getting So I absolutely love with the personalization aspect you can see exactly what you're about to pay for and especially since it's customized you won't be able to Um return it, you know, but with talisa jewelry, they do offer free shipping They have an excellent customer service team as well And um anything everything that i've ordered has come out exactly how I've previewed it online so I wouldn't worry about ordering Um, so I wouldn't worry about that. I feel like everything is exactly what you see Okay, so why this necklace is so special to me is the the location that I had picked to engrave onto it so, um my husband and I I've shared before my channel like our road to pregnancy and you know trying to conceive and while we didn't struggle with infertility my heart literally goes out to the women that do I just feel like That's so challenging and I have friends that are in that season right now and it's just Yeah, my heart goes out to couples that are trying to conceive. Um, our journey in pregnancy was just a little bit different We did genetic testing that was very specific. I have a twin sister that's physically disabled at 34 years old we were able to finally get her diagnosed her condition diagnosed And she started showing signs of this really rare recessive genetic Disorder from the time that she was four, so it's been like 30 years We've done all the things john hopkins cleveland clinics mayoclin like we've gone everywhere and no one could really pinpoint it until Just recently actually and that was because my husband and I went into genetic testing just to see Um if I carried the trade if he did because we did end up finding out that it was an autosomal recessive Incredibly rare. I will post the video that i've talked more about that in detail um But needless to say I feel like our journey to having lani our baby girl lani it Took a little bit longer than we were anticipating which I feel like a lot of people When you go into pregnancy, it's like the craziest thing because I feel like everyone's like oh you know don't stress over it or like let it be it'll happen when it happens, but the reality is like No matter how you get pregnant or when like it's just those journeys are so unique and just It's just not as easy as a blanket statement like that to be honest anyways why this is so special to me it is the area in southern california that I feel like lani, you know this our dream baby the dream of having a baby come to like life what occurred there and um Yeah, I feel like it's just like very special. It's obviously where we conceived and just the fact that like, you know more than Half of the pregnancy was in this location. Um I just I just think it's really special pat and I Would walk every single night in um, southern california neighborhood. We did like a massive like at least almost like a mile loop. Um, And every single night we were like constantly talking baby names and like thinking like what would his or her personality be all that? Because we didn't know the gender it remained a surprise up until literally she came um, which I do have a video talking about the birth as well because I didn't think I was in labor. We showed up at the hospital. I was six centimeters dilated Hence, I was in labor. Um first time mom Um, and lani was delivered within 42 minutes of us being at the hospital because she ended up being briefed So that was crazy a crazy birth story as well But I did share a whole separate video on our channel as well as names that we love but won't be using um, so that's all here too, but needless to say I just feel like Yeah, this is just so special for the place that pat and I live That was a dream of ours to move to southern california for a couple years Um, we ended up staying for almost four. We love it. We hope we plan to move back someday Um, we just absolutely love it there and feel like that's home for sure Um, but we're here in pittsburgh with family and we're enjoying the time that we're here Our other past parents and sister and brother-in-law and nephew. They live in north carolina now So charlotte and we're just happy to be closer to family for the time being pat and I are like very open to We're trying to just be really present in the moment and just being here um with family and friends nearby, um And just kind of going with it. I feel like that's another thing with like kind of parenthood and stuff I sort of feel like that's another thing like people are always like are you gonna have a second one blah blah And it's like i'm just we're just trying to be in the moment, you know We're just trying to enjoy the time here and being in the moment with our little lawning girl. It's gone so quickly I'm amazed at how fast it goes. So like just Just the baby in itself like it's gone so quickly Um, so anyways, that's the story behind this little heart pendant necklace again 18 karat gold gold for may So I know it's just gonna last I can wear this And I don't have to take it off. I can wear it in the shower. I can sweat in it, you know All the things would just literally wear it continuously Which is kind of what I do with a lot of my jewelry pieces Anyways, if you guys follow, you know I kind of get hooked on something i'm wearing it for a while and then maybe i'll switch it up or something like that But I definitely definitely love pieces that don't have to think about I have to take this off Oh, i'm about to work out. I gotta take this off. I'm gonna help in the shower I gotta take this off like that. It's just not a part of my life before maybe and it is most certainly not one now I just love nice pieces that stand the test of time and wear and tear all that so Anyways, yeah a few other things on their website. I think it's really cool They kind of have some beaded pieces if you're into that and then They also have something like birthstone pieces as well which I feel like would be beautiful too and you can do like multiple kids or If you guys watched my last video where where I shared more of the tallisa jewelry pieces in that video. I did Have um, like a birthstone bracelet I actually gave it to my mom because it was her birthstone my grandmother and then my granddad So it was just really beautiful Um, but there's like just so many different options And again, I just love that everything just like has that like meaning to it and significance Without it being like too much over the top like I feel like this is like a heart necklace but when you look closely you can see the details of the map, which is just so special and it's just me like i'm like It's mine and it's my story and it's elani and it's just like it's so beautiful and special without it being like a screaming piece of jewelry or something that's like I don't know. I don't know if this does make any sense I like that.
