UNBELIEVABLE MESSI! Lionel Messi Makes History with One of the Best Performances for Inter Miami 🔥

Nashville SC, to advance to the conference semifinals. Corcoran, physical. Not filling the gaps in the midfield. But Mascherano sees it otherwise. Bounces right to Messi, here he comes. MESSI! The Nashville know all too well. You can't give him a chance. He'll always take the chance. He'll always take the moment. Lionel Messi gives Inter Miami the lead. Ten minutes in. You've got to be perfect. You've got to be perfect when you play against this man. You've got to throw in. You defend it well. You cannot play this ball back against the grain. It's deflected. But how many times have Nashville players, fans. Feels like a massive moment for Inter Miami. Though this is given away now. Nashville can't take advantage. But what people forget about last season Is that yes, Atlanta came in here and won. But it's right to Yazbek. Into Mukhtar. Muehl wasn't quite anticipating it. It comes back for the foul. And this is a dangerous free kick for Nashville. I'm not sure what Noah Allen's arguing here. Because Hany Mukhtar does a wonderful job of getting the defender on his side. He clips it, that's a foul. Mukhtar, this time off the wall for Nashville. A different angle than it was at the end of the game. Miami to settle in here. And have this guy just find those spaces. And it continues. Tag Seth flicks it on. Surge. Over to Muehl. Muehl wins a corner. Well Miami's going to have to be careful. If they're going to play direct. He is sending it into a dangerous spot. Great defending from Nahar. Yeah it was flicked on but then cleared by Andy Nahar. Mukhtar pressuring Allen who goes back to Rio Snowbo. Segovia who started so many games for Miami for most of the season. Relegated to the bench. Messi again draws a foul. Corcoran disagrees with the call. Well this was the Latin baby games. Messi goes on the ground. Jordi Alba leaves it. From distance just wide. Rodriguez wasn't far away. Won earlier this season. Injuries really made. In the west. Trying to avoid an upset. Portland the 8th seed in the west. Coming to Southern California. 8.30 Eastern coverage. Beginning tomorrow night. Rodriguez. Not found a way to threaten Rocco Rio Snowbo. To really threaten into Miami today. Allende draws a foul. The only tape they watch is Miami. And here is Frey coming forward. And floating it in. Ends up with Jordi Alba. It's cleared by Andy Nahar. Well without Suarez on the field. Ian Frey can have a little bit more freedom. Going forward. Able to threaten. For any meaningful possession. As Zimmerman misses it. Silvetti leaves it. And Messi puts it. Rosario boys. A new Newell's old boy to an old Newell's old boy. You could say. Silvetti to Messi. Miami up 2-0. But take a bow Jordi Alba. 17 assists in all competitions. Coming into tonight's game. If you don't put pressure on him. He can thread the needle. He can find any pass. He needs to all over the field. And I've said it now. For the 22 days that Nashville. And Vijay Kellin have prepped for Miami. It's the only way to play Miami. As Rodrigo De Paul. Has given it yellow. For persistent infringement. So De Paul into the book. The league's cup final. Technically a draw. A win in penalties. Messi coming forward. Looking for a hat trick. He said he's going to draw a yellow card. Walker Zimmerman into the book. And into Miami. We'll have a dangerous set piece. As we head into first half added time. Well the biggest frustration for Nashville. And Vijay Kellin. As Palacios was inserted. Messi. Ryan Willis who catches. Holds on. Routine enough. For Nashville's goalkeeper. The current and forever. Star of the game. Lionel Messi. Daniel Lovitz taking off. Patrick Yazbeck. Matthew Corcoran. And Josh Bauer. And immediately. To Surage. And Nashville score. But wait it's waved off. A foul. Surage taking down Falcone. Drama. 30 seconds into the second half. Well the question will be. Whether or not he gets tangled. I thought Sam Surage. Tried to make it back post run. And as he did. Busquets. Messi popping it. Rodriguez leaving it. Nahar knocks it down. Willis has to pounce and does. Just a little clip. Surage off and running. Surage cutting inside. Surage is saved by Rocco Rios-Novo. The first save of this game. For Miami's goalkeeper. Relatively routine. Surage not getting the power behind that shot. That he desired. Jordi Alba. Messi. Jordi Alba. It's unstoppable. Messi. And Alba. It's 3-0 Miami. And they can sense. The conference semifinals. You just can't be flippant. When you defend. Inner Miami. From 20 yards in. You've got to be so aggressive. To force Alba and Messi. To make a quicker decision. This ball is going to find it's way to Jordi Alba. But I want you to watch. Nashville. You've got to get after Alba and Messi quicker. You can't allow them to combine. Messi against Nashville. And maybe another. Allende for two. Climation point. Gets to Cincinnati. Into Miami. Will advance to the conference semifinal. For the first time in club history. Dominant tonight. It's 4-0. You can overstate how important. These two goals are for Allende. He does so much of the hard work. Off the ball. First ever playoff clean sheet. And it will lead them. To their first ever. Playoff series victory. For the first time in club history.
