Wen Ruibo vs Patrick Franziska | MS Final | WTT Contender Muscat 2026

Oh, Franziska went around. Oh, what a start to the match here from Wenrui Bo. This year, maybe he... Wenrui Bo redirects, but Wenrui Bo here, a maestro at the table. So stable. Franziska, that's not getting a word in edge. First game and draw first blood here. Back into it, Franziska, but Wenrui Bo. Franziska, second seed Liang Jingkun in the very first round. Franziska's a young Chinese player, but a man who's finding his identity as an attacker. Seems like quite a few of the force we've seen haven't had warning comes if the umpire isn't fully certain or if they're feeling like the one-on-one player, but it does seem a bit harsh. Oh, but Wenrui Bo there showing he's got that in his arsenal as well. So Franziska has to try and bring in Wenrui Bo and take him out deep. That was nice. Six. He levels it as well. Bit of fortune, but Wenrui Bo had again and again. He is so confident, quietly confident. And I do think Wenrui Bo has the ingredients to be a world number one player. Wenrui Bo is halfway there. Yes, Dov Cherov. Back in business after beating Calderano at the Champions Doha. Ho Jun Sung. It's gonna form. Then the other ones that they have, Guo Guanghong. Nice change of pace from Franziska, keeping the pressure on as best as he can. Nice timing from Patrick. Will be given the hurry up by the umpire. Called it, six-three. Oh! Franziska, oh, wonderful placement there. Volumes, as far as he's concerned. Played the flick, but forehand chop block from Franziska. Excellent counter-looping. Ball in hand. Looking to take knees. This is a real title here in Muscat. It would be fantastic for the Chinese national team. Oh, beautiful flick from Wenrui Bo in the lead. Similar kind of receive, but that time Franziska taking a more, tough to do that much with it. Yeah, with serve. Okay, so much point if he doesn't get this right. Oh, it was close. Oh, it's for Rowe. What happens next here? Slowly growing into this final. Getting things down. Not increasing the power. Yeah, good serve. Oh! Beginning to level. And it's two game. Excellent push that we really wanted to see. The young pretender against seven. Power, he can. It's been fulfilled, what a match. And it is a point away from victory. Franziska, there'll be another twist in this tale. Long serve! Patrick Franziska. I don't think anybody did it in 2024 or 2025. That's for, playing out of. Can't say who deserves it more. You can't say who wants it. Like his cards were muddied. Franziska, another one bites the dust. It's a, Patrick Franziska. And Wenrui Bo, he recovers it. This one is first, WTT series title. And he's done it in the most unthinkable fashion imaginable. Patrick Franziska came back from three zero down.
